Brookdale

Brookdale Wake Forest has been such a blessing to my mother. The new management and staff are so wonderful, kind, caring and professional. My mother has made new friends and enjoys everything about Brookdale. Best is she is so close to our home and we get to see her often!

Brookdale Wake Forest is a beautiful community that has become my moms new home. It is clean, well run and the staff are friendly. The residents are sweet and kind. The food is amazing and you really do get a lot for your money.

When we toured Brookdale Bristol it was so welcoming from staff and residents. He had many opportunities for different crafts, card games and much more entertainment. This community takes proud in caring for their residents. If you need a community for a loved one this is this place you should choose.

Every staff member has been very helpful, cordial, and extremely prompt. When we have asked for assistance, someone is there in less than 5 minutes. The "culture climate" at Brookdale Springmeadows is consistently very positive, cheerful, and welcoming. Problems or difficulties are solved by staff in a coordinated manner, very considerate and patient. The offices of staff, nurses station, housekeeping, and hair salon are in close proximity to each other and accessible to residents. The dining room is especially pleasant. The food is good, and a choice of 2 entrees is offered. Meals are served to everyone at the same time after orders are quickly taken. Round tables seat 5, which makes conversations very easy. Meals can also be taken in one's apartment. The facility is clean, bright and airy, located in a nice neighborhood of family homes and apartments. A walking trail is close by, and the entire area is nature landscaped with trees, bushes, and intermittent small wetlands.

My Dad went from the hospital to Brookdale Grayson view. He had pneumonia and also has dementia. The staff and residents really took him under their wing to help him to feel comfortable. He had a hard time at first but to our surprise it’s 2 months later and he’s smiling and even laughing more than we’ve seen him do in a long time. It’s set up in a rectangle so it’s hard to get lost. There’s a lovely place to sit outside and Dads out there a lot. This place is updated, the staff is so great and Dads needs are taken care of.

Dad loves Brookdale and tells me he wishes that he would have found it sooner. There is so much more to offer than the previous facility he lived at. The cafeteria has better food, there are more planned activities, clean facilities, and an apartment he can call home.

We loved everything about the facility, especially the people. We were welcomed by genuine and friendly staff who were willing to accommodate our needs and concerns. The food was good and we loved the apartment. Unfortunately, both of my parents got very ill and were not able to enjoy Brookdale as we hoped. But, Brookdale will definitely be an option if we need care from here. Thank you Brookdale!

My sister was located in a different state, living alone, and having memory issues. Before we expected to move my sister, it became apparent that she was not safe any longer, and Brookdale facilitated her admission is a very short period of time. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty in welcoming my sister, and making her feel safe and welcomed. I am welcome to come and go freely, and they communicate clearly and efficiently.

Moved into apartment 2 months ago. Very clean and totally meets my needs. Staff is very accommodating. Not a new facility but very well maintained by excellent maintenance crew. Activities galore offered by excellent activity staff. Currently living as independent but accommodations are available for advanced care if needed. Meals are varied and even requests are accepted. Probably the healthiest I have eaten in many years. Oh…and we have offsite trips throughout the month that keep us active.

I find this place wonderful. Everything I want is available. There's a shopping district within walking distance. I mean within a quarter of a mile walking distance. The food is fantastic. Activities abound along with outside trips for those who care to go along. This is well worth the money I am spending for a totally wonderful living experience.

This is the best kept secret I am so happy here their emmities are what the doctors order. I have been here for one month. My husband has dementia the mountains soothes him and the weather is so Awesome it's fall now the trees are turning colors simply gorgeous come winter I feel we will be warm and safe. If you are having difficulty finding the best place for Mom choose Brookdale University. The community is caring, supportive, fun, and an exceptional environment for Seniors. Ask for [name removed] she’s an exceptional professional guiding us through the process while following up every step of the way.

We had three places to consider. Brookdale Silver Lake was our final decision. The building is beautiful. Clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and Informative. Since our mom has been at Brookdale, she seem to be thriving with a routine schedule and engaging activities.

We moved my dad into Brookdale Montrose after working with A Place for Mom to find and tour facilities that were in budget and could accommodate my Dad's changing needs. Brookdale Montrose made us feel invited and supported through the whole process never hesitating to answer questions or work with us to build the best possible service agreement for Dad. The staff goes the extra mile to interact with and care for residents in a setting that feels warm and inviting. The facility is older than some in the area but the length of time they've been in the community means they know the area better than anyone and they have staff that have been there for 10 to 20 years which is rare in residential care facilities. We even met a staff member whose own grandparents live there!

I know they have activities and different things like that but unfortunately, my mother doesn't participate so I can't really comment on how the activities are. She rarely even leaves her room. I think it is a great community. If I had to comment on anything being improved, it would be the cleanliness of the room and the facility. But I do think it's great for the price and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for this type of environment

Overall very placed with care at the facility. Not overly large means more personalized care.

Good caring staff. Does not ignore the patients. Attentive to patients needs. We picked this community because we liked the friendliness and how they have activities for the patients.

Staff is friendly and compassionate. Facility clean and inviting. My mother's private room was a generous size, including the bathroom. Both with plenty of closet space.

I would say everyone there is extremely helpful and friendly. All the staff seem to really enjoy working there and really care for the residents.

My grandma has been a resident here for roughly two years and I can honestly say this is the best place for her. The team here is always so kind and welcoming and you can tell they truly care about the residents and their families. I know this must be as stressful job for them but they never let it effect their care for the guests. I am truly grateful for them.
