What we like the most about Brookdale Southfield is the concern for their residents as well as their willingness to assist their residents. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The concierge is sometimes a bit brusk. What I really like about the community is the food quality and I would recommend Brookdale Gaines Ranch to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

Our mom had Alzhiemers and we were in need for a facility for her. They gave us a tour and the place is beautiful... Lucky fir us it was around lunch time and we're served lunch... food was amazing and they had beautiful music as well... Highly recommend!

My mother is 93 and entered the Memory Care Community at Collin Oaks 4 months ago after recently losing her husband of 74 years. She has adjusted well and is very happy. At each visit she tells us how nice everyone is to her. The staff has been great. They keep us updated and informed. The staff keeps the residents busy with fun activities and exercise classes. And, she loves the food. This has been a very positive experience and I highly recommend Collin Oaks.

The staff are wonderful, everyone is very friendly, kind, competent and caring. The director, head nurse and sales manager all have bent over backward to help make my dad's transition to life in assisted living smooth and helped us with any bumps on the road. My dad says the aides "genuinely care about me" and take the time to talk and joke with him and help him move at the pace his condition allows. He was in many rehab facilities before this, and he really appreciates the slower, more personal and less stressed pace. I appreciate that the facility is small enough to feel intimate, like a family setting, after he was in many larger institutions. His room is like a mini apartment with a sleeping, living, and kitchenette area along with a spacious bathroom. He has a corner room with three large windows letting in light and allowing him to watch the wildlife that move through. It doesn't feel at all like the hospital type rooms he's had before in rehab. We have been happy with the therapy services Brookdale has contracted as well as the care he has received from the aides, visiting doctors, and nurses. The activities director always asks if my dad wants to participate, but respects his decision if he declines. They have a variety of activities available for all abilities. The only areas we haven't been as impressed are in the level of housekeeping for his room and the food. I often end up cleaning up messes in his room though the week, since housekeeping is only done weekly. The food is simple and often prepackaged. My dad enjoys eating it, but I saw better quality food at some of his rehab facilities. Overall, though, the personal attention, kindness and care he and our family have received far outweighs any down side. I would highly recommend Brookdale Ann Arbor to anyone looking for a home away from home for their older loved one

It's a great place with a lot of friendly people who work there. They make sure the residents have what they need and help out when needed. I would recommend to others.

Everyone here is very nice understand and cares about there residents and always coming up to you asking me how I’m doing and if there is anything I need care staff is good as well and they do come and check on me every 2 hours

Brookdale East Wichita is the only facility in Wichita for Dementia patients. To be really honest, the facility is very nice but is very understaffed.

Brookdale is great on all categories. It has been the best possible experience for my dad. Brookdale far exceeded my expectations and car for dad.

Brookdale Farmers Branch (BDFM) has got to be the best value when it comes to assisted living in Texas. Several relatives in other cities have used facilities that are either NOT as nice as BDFM or ARE as nice but cost more. [names removed]are wonderful to work with - every step from tour to move-in and communication about our loved one. As a result, my mother-in-law has easily settled in and is socializing and participating in activities. This is truly unbelievable. Before moving to BDFM, she sat and watched TV all day and had to be prodded to change out of her pajamas during the day. Thank you, [name removed] and team - you have made our transition nothing short of life-changing!

I would recommend. I picked them because they had a two bed /two bath option. I would tell a friend to tour the facility.

Overall experience - we felt lucky to find a place without a waiting list. The move in went well and my aunt was happy. We have no specific issues regarding cleanliness although things can always be better, particularly in the nooks and crannies. My aunt is happy with the cleanliness. The staff are very friendly. We have no issues with this. My aunt seems to get the care she needs. We have no issues with her care. My aunt appreciates the flexibility of the kitchen and their willingness to adapt their menu to her needs. She has no complaints. On occasion I have dined at the facility and found the food somewhat bland. My aunt is 97 and nearly blind so she doesn't participate in most activities. She says that the facility is too quiet and would like more music even if it is just the radio playing in the common area. This is difficult to quantify as we don't have any comparables. We do find it expensive as monthly expenses exceed my aunt's monthly income. Fortunately, she has some savings that can cover the excess costs.

It has been great I haven't had to do anything.

I did not like the idea of leaving my home but toured Brookdale after my son and daughter in law insisted. I am glad I did.

The food and dining experience are most enjoyable.

I am into my 3rd week I like everything about this community. Staff is more friendly than other places I have lived. And the food us beyond expectations. the menu us the same at other places but the way its prepared make a bug different.

Came here 5 years ago due to a stroke. Everyone has been good to help me. Loves a particular cook that's been here 23 yrs. Staff always has a "Can I help attitude and I love that. I love that. I love the outside of the community. It looks and feels like a home.

It has taken a while for them to figure out how to cook vegetarian foods. Mom was extremely independent prior to coming there and that has been a major adjustment for her, but I think that's the same for everybody.

The staff and the majority of the people are friendly. The difference of the ages us what the difference only.
