My great uncle was a resident at Brookdale Nacogdoches for a many years and was always in good hands with their staff. As a veteran, he was ALWAYS treated with dignity and respect and even had his photo framed on the Veteran wall, in honor of his service. As his health began to decline, the staff made the necessary adjustments to provide him with the assistance that he needed when it mattered most. Everyone was wonderful in his final moments and I’m so grateful for their care.

Brookdale is the best senior facility in Oak Park. The meals are excellent with varied, nutritious menus. There is 24 hour security with a receptionist present at all times. Trader Joe's is right next door. There are three floors of assisted living, but all the other floors are for independent living. Cleaning services come with the monthly fee. If one needs additional aide services, they are available. Brookdale is centrally located in downtown Oak Park, and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, the library, the post office. The staff is friendly and the residents are welcoming. Having lived here for the past 18 months I am pleased with my choice.
