Brookdale

1. The overall experience was good. If you are an outgoing person, make friends easily, you will do well at Brookdale. 2. The facility was always clean. 3. The staff at Brookdale was always very friendly and helpful. 4. The quality of care was always good, the staff was very caring and available to help you. 5. The administrative staff was excellent. They were very helpful answering questions, and in resolving any problems that arise. 6. The food was good. If you didn't like what they were serving they would provide alternative options to choice from. 7. They do have activities for residents. 8. If you are a resident that can do for themselves assisted living is a reasonable option for you. It can become expensive if you need the staff to help with your care. They charge extra for each service they provide. They charge a monthly rate, and if you need extra help those charges are added to your monthly bill. It can get very expensive.

My mother has lived at Brookdale for the past 3 plus years and loves the facility. The people that work at Brookdale from the administration to the restaurant servers are all very nice and have a great attitude. There are many activities for the residents to get involved with. My mom and her friends really enjoy the food and the majority of the people that live there are fun and kind. My mom has said numerous times just how happy she is living at Brookdale and feels like she is getting a great value for her money. As her son who suggested she move to Brookdale from Florida I am very happy and relieved she likes it so much.

It's great with activities.

I would give all categories a 5 except for the cost. While I realize it is costly, the expense is really too high. However, based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families.

Please understand that it is my belief that absolutely nothing in life Other than my wife deserves a perfect score of five it's impossible to be perfect. Question number one ,overall experience, if I'm being honest when your mother dies The overall experience is rather unpleasant! brookdale along with [name removed] And her staff as far as I'm concerned came to my rescue Question number two, cleanliness of the facility. dare I say Her room along with the facility was cleaner than Her house, Enough said. Question number three Friendliness. Personally, I was privileged to witness more friendliness and care for her well-being than I could have ever imagined. Question number four quality of care. if I were being honest, I'm sure the Brookdale staff took better care of my mother then she did herself even if due to dementia, she didn't realize it! question number five, administrative staff, I personally inquired into four other facilities it was because of [name removed], that I picked Brookdale. I was impressed with how she interacted with The residents one Vietnam vet in particular. question number seven activities, she tried out for the baseball team, however at 87 an 86 year old beat her out for the position of first base. This made her sad.

Staff is excellent with a true personal touch. The apartment sizes are quite roomy!

I am so glad we found A Place for Mom. They helped us so much! We did not know where to turn and found so much help with them. The place we found with their help is great and we are so happy we can place my elderly father in such a wonderful setting.

The Brookdale has been a great experience for my parents after leaving their home of 48 years. This was a very tough year for my parents and Brookdale immediately became home to them. Any issues they may have had with their transition the Brookdale staff always addressed and always had a positive solution to whatever it was. The staff is all amazing and this is a place that I have always felt this past year my parents were always safe!!

The staff and management at Brookdale are excellent at what they do and at this time have our full trust and confidence.They are always available with information and encouragement. [name removed] has settled in and is comfortable with his surroundings. They have even given him responsibilities helping other patients.

My parents were nervous and apprehensive about leaving their home and wouldn’t entertain the idea of moving even though it was getting to the point of them being in an unsafe situation, ie. medication, falls, phone scams etc. After making contact with A Place for Mom, they set up appointments for me to look at several places. After touring the Brookdale facility I decided this was the best fit for us. The staff at the facility were very helpful in explaining to my parents the reasons why they would be much safer and happier in an assisted living facility. They completed their evaluations and walked us through every step of having them move in to the facility. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care they have received from Brookdale.

When we first walked in we felt at home and had a peaceful feeling. When we were on the tour, a few residents came up to us and commented about how much they liked it here. Everyone was so friendly. We love our apartment and the size of the rooms. Our furnishings fit in just fine. We also love the entertainment and listening to the bands and singers that perform. We are happy with the food and the many options that are offered. We especially like being served by the friendly servers. The workers greet us with smiles, call us by name and we like the personal touch. Any problems are resolved quickly. We looked at several other places and found this to be a good value. It is perfect for us.

Very welcoming and friendly. They are great at accommodating each clients individual needs. They made my dad's transition so easy. I highly recommend Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks!

The staff I like, but feel some communication could be improved. However, I have recommend Brookdale Attleboro to other families multiple times.

We were looking for a place that mom would love. This community was exactly that. Everyone is friendly and treat us like family. When we visit, we see the director there through the week and on weekends. Management is often seen in the community talking with other residents and staff. My mother thinks of Mount Vernon Drive as her home. She loves the staff the same as family. This place was exactly what we needed and they have delivered everything they said they would.

Have enjoyed my time here at Brookdale. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Food may not be five star but is generally tasteful and prepared well. If you don't like what is being served, you can always order off the menu.

Accommodating staff& administrators. Things have been as they were promised. Staff is receptive to complaints & work to resolve issues in a timely way. We receive information about family events so we can make plans to join them for holidays and special events.

Placing my aunt here was the best decision our family made. Everyone working there makes time for me from the executive director to the aids caring for my aunt. My aunt is family there with all the attention, activities, and making friends. It is a very home-like environment. Highly recommend this place.

We looked around Brookdale when we were looking for a place for my dad. He was too for a place for my dad. He was too far needing help foe him to be at Brookdale. I really liked it there! It seemed comfy and homey.

My father was full of trepidation when he was approached with the idea of moving from his little ADU to Brookdale. A week later he was in and fairly settled. He was so happy and even sounded fabulous when I called to check in. He found friends and loved eating meals with other residents. His diet is varied and he reports that the food is great! He recently had a little stay in the hospital and one of the caregivers stopped by - it cheered him up so much. He couldn’t wait to get “home”.

After 21/2 months, my opinion of Brookdale Chambrel has not changed. It is a place that I value for my brother primarily because of the people I have interacted with. I trust their expertise and input when it comes to the safety of my brother. Everyone is very helpful and shows a caring and understanding attitude when dealing with either me or my brother.
