Brookdale

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff and residents are all so wonderful and welcoming. I have toured this place and the place is very clean and seems everyone was very informative on the steps I need to take. I highly recommend this place.

What a great place! The energy is so positive and happy! From meals, housekeeping, arts and crafts, entertainment, and more, my mom feels pampered everyday! As her daughter, I feel so blessed to have my mom looked after.

The food is really good. They have a good selection and it is tasteful. The staff is always helpful. Overall its been a good experience for me and my wife. I have trouble seeing but they got new floors in the dining room and it is a nicer room.

The staff at Brookdale are kind and caring. My Mom feels safe and has a community of other residents she has gotten to know and enjoys spending time with. We have been very happy with our choice of Brookdale.

Brookdale has been a good fit for my husband. The staff has been wonderful. They are very kind and attentive to his needs. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memory care facility.

Staff is helpful and friendly and has warm and caring attitude with my mom. She receives healthcare on site which is very helpful. Her medicines are ordered and administered by staff and meals served in her room if she is unable to get to the dining room. Mom says Brookdale is her home and she is always happy to return when we take her out for an excursion.

I could not ask for a better place to live! I moved here with my husband and after he passed I decided to stay because I loved it so much. I tell anyone that will listen to me that they can stop looking and just come live here! I am so happy here.

We are incredibly pleased with the care and services provided to our mom by Brookdale Oakwell. The staff are exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely seem to care about the residents. The activities (and the activities director) keep her busy and happy. Most importantly, mom feels at home. We highly recommend.

My uncle moved into Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks in August and has truly enjoyed all the activities, the good meals, the safe, pleasant atmosphere, the caring employees, and the beautiful outdoor courtyard! My family and I highly recommend this senior living community! Wonderful staff and leadership who help create a comfortable, inviting home for residents!

The residents seem happy and busy. The staff is friendly to visitors and seems to truly care about the residents. There are all kinds of engaging adult activities. I’ve seen them playing indoor volleyball. They go out to lunch at local restaurants. Holiday celebrations are made special with family and friends visiting and live music.

When my family and I moved my mother to Brookdale in [date removed] from the senior living facility she was residing at in Georgia, I was informed by the facility administrator that he believed that she only had approximately 6 months left to live do to her rapid deterioration. I advised my family of this (what I believed to be credible) information and we all planned on making my mother’s life as pleasant as possible for the following 6 months. She was moved into your facility, only a few minutes from where I reside. I have been able to visit her frequently and spend valuable time with her. I have personally watched her become more and more happy with her life and I know that this is a direct result of where she resides, the friends she has made while living at Brookdale, the professional and loving staff that works for Brookdale and the fact that she now gets to be close to family after many years of living thousands of miles away. Her life is now stable and she is thriving.

I have worked in the industry for over 20 years. This community stands out to me because the community is so engaging and active. Many residents have lived here for 15-20 years! The 35 acres of wooded grounds are beautiful.

Once I placed my request through “A Place for Mom.”I was introduced to BrookDale Colonial Park and several other Senior Communities. I was struck by Breanna’s warm informative information and monthly cost. She was willing to set up a visit for mom to see the life style and apartments ,viewing the outside grounds and accommodations for seniors. Working through the vacancies was a smooth transition. Although there are always hiccups.On the whole mom settled in with a few living adjustments. Thank you BrookDale Colonial Park for listening to my concerns and your friendly approach.

Excellent community to bring loved ones to live

Expensive for what happens.

My mother has been at Brookdale Colonial Park for almost 4 years. She and her husband were happy and made friends with other residents and staff. Her husband passed last year. The staff has been so kind in supporting her through her rough times and the good times. I feel so relieved she is safe and in such good hands. Thank you, Brookdale Colonial Park!

Mom has been at this Brookdale for about two years. There has been a lot of stability and consistency in the staff. It has helped to build relationships and trust over this time. Overall, we are very pleased with this facility and location.
