Unless your loved one is completely independent and able to take care of themselves this is not the right place. If they need a lot of care the adequate care will not be provided from this community.

They are not able to properly care for Alzheimer's or dementia patients who wander, which is a pretty common behavior. They called me partway through my loved one's stay to tell me he was wandering into his neighbor's room. They had a shared bathroom, and he simply just wasn't remembering which room was his after leaving the bathroom. So I had to come and get him early from his respite stay. I was stunned that they are licensed to help dementia patients. They seem much better able to provide simple assisted living as opposed to dementia care. They told me all of his stuff was packed up, but there were things still stuffed away in drawers. So I would have left things behind had I taken them at their word. It's a pretty place, and it's impressive to look at. But that doesn't matter if the care is not adequate.

Food is not appealing-not much taste- 1 or 2 a week. Is senior living but 85% in wheelchairs or bed-ridden on admittance.

The facility itself seems to be good, however there does seem to be some issues lately with the activities, those have been greatly reduced. The cleanliness of the common areas are clean, but we have concerns that the carpeted areas from all the traffic needs to be professionally cleaned. The rooms seem to be cleaned on a regular basis, but sometimes the floors seem a little sticky. All of the staff members we have encountered have all been great. When we first came to tour the community we were able to eat a meal and it was good. We don't complain about the meals we eat ourselves, but depending on the age of the resident they might have some trouble - for example the meat might be a little tough to cut. There also seems to be an issue with the bread, it seems like they might keep it frozen. When our loved one gets a piece of bread, she will ask for it to be toasts so it warmed up and even then sometimes that doesn't work.

Right when we walked in it just felt more institutionalized than some others we saw. The room sizes here are very big. They have a happy hour cart that comes around and I did not think that would be a good idea for memory care. It was not the right fit for us.

We did not have a good experience with Bridges of Bent Creek. It is a good place, it was just not the right fit for my loved one and the type of care that they needed. I would recommend if your loved one has naturally aging dementia.

One reason we chose The Enclave is on the first floor there is an outdoor patio area where would loved one could walk freely outside. When we see the meals everything looks and smells great but our loved one is not the biggest fan. The community is having some staffing issues so the activities have suffered a little bit, they are non consistent. However we cannot blame them, we think it is just due to the current circumstances.

I would recommend you not to go there. During COVID the community isolated the residents in their rooms. The staff communication with family is non-existent. During our stay the community wasn't doing activates.

COVID protocols in place. Mask required for visitors. Grounds very well kept. Small Community on a busy street. Not much outdoor space for residents to mingle. Observed the common room by front door was occupied by many residents. Very friendly. The tour hit the high points, puzzle areas, dining room wing for Memory Care, beauty salon. Transportation available to and from appointments. Financially comparable to others I have toured.

The Blake at Baxter Village opened right before the pandemic and are having growing pains. It appears that they are having a hard time keeping staff so they have a lot of turnover which then causes issues because they aren't forming relationships with their residents.

I chose Woodbridge Place because it had good ratings from what I found online as well as the location for the family. The room sizes here are adequate for her needs. They seem to be very friendly, but I have not had much interaction since we are not allowed in. Overall, it seems to be a nice place.

We chose Summer Village at the time because it was really the best one in the location we were looking at. The apartment sizes are very good. Overall, I would recommend for the area it is in.

The rooms would be about a three out of five. Our loved ones first room was fine, but her second room was not as good it was not up to date. We would not recommend this community to others, the quarantine was not handled well there.

We chose this facility at the time because she was not happy at her previous facility, we were looking for a better alternative for her and we chose Woodbridge because it seemed to have what we were looking for. The room sizes here are generous. I would tell others that some things like the food is not very good. The preparation and variety could be improved. Overall, I would still recommend to others looking.

Based on the tour this community was pretty clean, we haven't been able to go back and visit since COVID started. The staff members were very friendly when we were on that tour, however we had gotten feedback from our mother recently letting us know that the staff needs to be reminded quite a bit about our loved ones limitations. On that tour our family felt very comfortable and we really liked how they had a resident dog there. They offer a variety of room options to choose from, and from our understanding our loved one has a nice size room.

Our first impression of this community is that it was very bright when we first visited and it was kept pretty clean. The food at this community is pretty good. Before COVID the activities were lacking, but from our understanding they are trying to improve them. The only issue we have is the communication, it is lacking. Especially during COVID its been hard to get a hold of the employees, but they just hired new employees so its getting better.

Sombery Sandy Springs did a very good job with keeping the residents safe and healthy from COVID during the pandemic. They also were good about keeping the residents and family informed. The food was mediocre at best, the wait staff was very slow. When they delivered the food, it would arrive cold and they had very limited choices. They ended up living off of peanut butter crackers and hot dogs because they did not like the food. My in-laws had bed bugs 4 times. The person in charge of the facility was unforgiving when it came to the bed bug problem and it was not getting solved. In a non-COVID environment, I think she might have been more accepting, but I do not think the director is a very easy person to work with.

Staff seem to be rather caring of my mother. [Name removed] help me with a issue I had regarding getting my mother to sign papers which was more than appreciated. Couldn't have done it without her.

I really liked this community it was beautiful inside and outside. I just didn't feel that it would have been the best choice for my dad.The community is a little too large for our taste and I didn't get that personalized feeling I was looking more for a community that gave off a homey feeling. My tour here was done well by the staff, they showed me all around and answered all my question. My main concern was the turn over of the staffing and after speaking with some of the other resident's family members who were visiting there I felt that this just was not going to be a good fit for my wife.
