Bonaventure

They are very supportive and understanding. They know their niche/business. For what my loved one needs, they are there for her. Public spaces are clean, although the back stairwells could use some attention. The food itself is fine. I just wish they would make accommodating preferences easier for people who are less good at articulating their needs. But I realize that's a two-fold issue, and we're working on it on our end. There are lots of activities and things to do. It's very expensive, but there's lots there. And I would recommend them to other families.

Bonaventure of Salem is a GREAT place! They did a wonderful job and with her and while she was on hospice the employees cared so much. They even sent me flowers after she had passed away. I wish we could afford to move here ourselves, it is not overpriced, especially for what you get.

My loved one, has no complaints about the food, and really enjoys the activities. It's expensive but other places cost more but they do a lot. The staff is wonderful. I truly enjoy bonaventure, and so does my loved one.

It's a great place. The people are friendly, and the caregivers are very gentle. The staff seem very nice and my loved one is getting good care . It is a great seting, and beautiful place. The food is awesome.

We moved in a year ago! What I like: 1. Nice people, a real community 2. therapy here- no driving 3. Many places to walk safely 4. Stores in walking distance 5. I don’t need to organize meals except breakfast which we cook in our apartment! 6. I don’t do the maintenance- new paint, carpets cleaned, parking lot refinish and stripped- done for us! 7. Staff friendly and caring 8. It is so nice to look out your window and see trees not buildings!

I think the new directory of the Memory Care unit, [name removed], is doing a really good job of creating a positive working environment for her team and providing good care for the memory care residents. She is very knowledgeable and caring. [name removed] is an excellent caregiver who has been on staff a long time. Other staff members also provide good care. My mother is 94 and has been in the Memory Care unit for one year. It was a little hard at first but [name removed] and [name removed]as directors are willing to listen and make changes as needed. But the new director, [name removed], has made a big difference to the whole atmosphere of the unit. I feel encouraged that as a whole the local directors are determined to work toward making changes as needed. The facility is lovely. Staffing challenges seem to be better now but clearly were a challenge for all during the intense Covid times. We are pleased and mom is content and cared for.

They were often shortstaffed but the staff was wondeful. It was a warm-loving-and pleasent place to be. They need to treat the people that they hire with more respect and trust in them. If they need to start putting a little more of their heart into it, if they want to keep there facility up and running. They are unproffesional on the corporate side, and need to get in good people.

They have been helpful. It has been very different during the pandemic. The staff is very helpful. The activities brought her out of her shell. She loves and thrives in different activities. My loved one has gone through major social growth. It took her out of a depressing setting, and made her more social, which has changed her whole moood, and made it very positive. Overall, they were very accomodating to get my loved one into the community.

We had a good tour at Bonaventure of Salmon Creek. It was a beautiful facility. It seemed more like a luxury hotel to me than a care facility, which is a really nice presentation, but not what was needed in my loved one's situation. There were way more amenities than my loved one would need or use.

This was a nice community and had friendly staff. The drawback was that it was too big for my loved one.

I had a wonderful experience with Bonaventure of Medford. The only reason we did not choose them was because they did not do Medicare paydown and we needed that. The director was amazing and gave me some of the best information I could have asked for. She was explaining to me that it is better to move your loved one in sooner and integrate them before they get too bad. She said that it will help them to adapt better and when their memory goes downhill they will not be as scared because they will know the staff and the residents instead of just knowing their family members. She spent 45 minutes with me explaining this and made me feel a lot better about the decision I was making. She really impressed me.

The housecleaning that came in could have used some improvement, I think they did the bare minimum on the resident rooms. But the overall common areas were very clean and beautiful. We had to move in her quickly and the staff were super accommodating and had everything moved and ready for her when she got there. My grandma was very challenging and they did a great job with her and her care. She was on a liquid diet and the nurse [name removed] went out and bought her a bullet blender so she could make a milkshake anytime she wanted during covid. She really went out of her way and we really appreciated that. It was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend Bonaventure to others who are looking. When she passed away, they were so helpful with getting all of the needs taken care of for us while we were going through that very difficult time as a family. They really above and beyond what we ever expected.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked it, but our mother did not really care for it. She was not familiar with the location and thought the surrounding trees made it feel a little darker. However the gal in charge of the tour was wonderful

We had a great experience and think that it's a good facility.

I would recommend Bonaventure of Pueblo. If you want a good place for your loved one this is the place to go. The staff are very attentive to the residents. There is a physical therapist on site to assist with the residents and is good at getting my loved one to participate in their own care. Some of the activities available include theater, weekly happy hours, games, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. My loved one likes the food and thinks there is plenty of it.

My loved ones were in this community. They have been wonderful with their services and are really looking out for the guest and taking great care of them. There is someone in the hall everyday that brings them ice cream and even a happy hour cart. They drop off puzzles for the residents to do. Everyone is friendly and they greet my loved one. The kitchen staff have been great and are delivering meals due to a lock down. They know what he likes and this makes a big difference for my loved one. When my mother passed they let my father know that they would be there for him and they have been there truly. These people truly care.

We thought they were perfect. They're really friendly. I thought they did a good job with the care they gave my dad. It was a clean facility, and it looked like a place that would charge more than they did. I thought it was a good value.

The people are very friendly and very helpful at this community. They also have a lot of services and amenities for your loved one to pick from. They have activities like sing a longs and crafts for the residents to do.

My Dad moved into Oswego Place in November after touring several other Communities in the area. The initial visit with the staff and facilities made it an easy choice for Dad. Everyone greeted Dad with smiles and enthusiasm. For my brother and I knowing that the staff is managing his meds and he's getting 3 great meals a day has been a huge relief to us. He's adjusted quickly to his new home and is thriving thanks to Oswego Place and the people to make it happen.
