Bonaventure

5 stars in all areas! We chose Oswego Place initially because they had openings, they were flexible for tour and move in date and it was a Clean environment and friendly staff. The staff were accessible and accommodating to work with family member despite difficult situations. Communication was excellent. I would recommend Oswego Place to others.

Our family had an in person tour with Bonaventure of Salem, and we thought all of the staff members were very friendly and did a great job showcasing what they had to offer.

The 1-bedroom apartments are quite large with a small kitchenette. Living room, bedroom, and bathroom are quite large with tons of storage/closet space. They offer free laundry facilities on each floor. Very friendly and responsive staff. Daily activities and meal menus are posted each morning. A beautiful shared outdoor patio area with flowers and bird feeders. It's quite a lovely place.

The staff are all very friendly and attentive to my mother's needs at Bonaventure of Albany. Everything has been great for her here. The whole place is clean and the residents all seem very happy. I would recommend Bonaventure to anyone. The only negative is that they don't accept Medicaid. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly at Bonaventure of Thornton. The facility is in a great location for walking to shopping and restaurants, if desired. The main entrance reminds me of a high end resort/hotel - very open and inviting and modern. The units are very large and modern compared to other facilities in the area with similar pricing. The meals are good and have options available for those who dislike certain foods or want something other than the day's menu. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The experience with the community, has been very good. They have happy hour with music, bingo, and other activities. We were very happy with staff and very good food. I would recommend to other families.

I feel safe as I'm no longer "living alone." There are staff members available at all times. The positive attitudes of the staff crosses over to the residents. Every day is a good day. I am still very independent and continue my life outside of Bonaventure but am always glad to come back home.

The staff is super helpful and friendly, housekeeping is very good. Food can always be worked on, understanding that personal taste and preferences will vary and cause some complaints, but they seem to always be working at it. I would love to see more attention and money spent on physical activities and possibly even a trainer available part time. I would highly recommend this facility to family and friends.

I have been here almost a year. I have been in the care industry since 2011. I love this facility and here is why... we are pretty much a family. Coming to work you know your going to get the support you need. We have a facility rn who will answer his personal phone night or day for any questions you might have as a med tech. We have an executive director who works 5 to 6 days a week and she doesn't stay in her office either. Throughout shift we will see her walking the floor and making sure the facility is flowing. We have a kind and courteous receptionist and all our med techs are fully trained. Just an example of ways I have seen staff go above and beyond is when our executive director door dashed eggs to the facility for me to scramble for a resident. This was after hours when kitchen closed down and I am a med tech. She paid for this out of her own pocket. She herself was driving in the ice storm we had to get employees to work not just so we had staff. There is so much love here.

1 - 5: The Bonaventure staff and the facility are top notch! They are always attentive to my mom’s needs and always have great spirits. 2 - 5: The Bonaventure is a lovely place and it is ALWAYS clean and inviting. 3 - 5: Everyone on staff are complete professionals, but even better, they are totally caring people. 4 - 5: All that they do, they do with expertise and commitment to providing the best care possible. 5 - 5: The menus are varied and there is always the opportunity to order items off the menu. The presentation is nice and appealing, and nutritious. 6 - 4: The facility has lots of possible activities. They have a resident kitchen for cooking activities, pub/billiards and shuffleboard, and bowling lanes. These typically are resident-led activities. There are weekly ones like card bingo, sip & paint, and happy hour. They have had a change in staff for activities recently, so they have not had the typical off premises outings. I am told they will resume with a new bus driver. 7 - 5: The staff at Bonaventure work hard to provide caring, fun and comfortable living for the residents. [name removed], Executive Director, and [name removed], Assistant Director, work tirelessly to keep the Bonaventure a premier senior living facility. It’s a big job, but they exceed my expectations for a place for my mom to living comfortably.

Gibson creek is a beautiful and professionally maintained community in west salem. The care staff are all so friendly, courteous and helpful. They are hard workers and always put the residents first. Kitchen staff are always on top of it with delicious, house made fresh foods and are servers are prompt. The residents are happy here.

It was a nice place. My loved one was not there long. I would maybe recommend to others,it looks like a nice place.

The apartments are very nice and spacious. My parents enjoy it. They picked this community, because it was the best fit for them. Also, it was the size of the apartment, availability, familiar area, and a very nice facility.

The facility is an older structure but very clean. The people were very nice. We decided to tour because we had a couple of friend who lived there for quite some time, and the staff were really good to them.

This was an okay community. It was further from family than we wanted.

I toured this facility and I liked it. Cleanliness and friendliness was good. This facility was our second choice.

Have been in almost all the options in the Tri-Cities Bonaventure really has Senior care to a science. All the staff are kind and friendly. The managment is next level-they are all personable and willing to work with you. The building itself is clean and well put together. There isn't another building locally that beats the dining experince either, they have so many options and it's GOOD. The biggest Kudos goes to the care staff though, their call times are low and they have long term employees. Overall the place is good from the inside out, I don't refer anywhere else!

Bonaventure Tri Cities was a wonderful experience for our family. I would advise you to give it time and be supportive to your loved one, who is going through a big change. The activities are great, and the staff treat the residents very well.

Bonaventure is the best retirement center in Salem Oregon. It's very clean and very well kept up with because we are the flag ship of Bonaventure. I've visited quite a few retirement centers in Salem Oregon but have not come opon a better center.

My mom just moved in after she had a bad fall and was in rehab. Bonaventure really went above and beyond with the process and were very flexible to work around my work schedule. She's been coming out to all the meals and has made some friends already while being there. The services have been happening routinely and she's saying she's happy here. Just in the last month, my favorite encounter has been with the staff. You can tell they enjoy working with my mom and have always been friendly when i've came in.
