I hate being here; however, I do recognize this is where I need to be. The staff are all excellent to work with though. They are good at caring for the residents as well. There are times the food is excellent and other times it is drab. There are times that you can't tell what vegetables you are eating. The sweets are pretty good though. there is a good quantity and variety of food available.

We went with Bloom at Belfair because the community just felt more vibrant and had a very positive energy and enthusiasm both among the staff and the residents. Also the memory care unit we felt was the best out of the ones that we saw. Although that care is not needed right now, we like that we have that option in case it is needed in the future. We would definitely recommend the facility to others looking.

We've had a very good experience overall. The staff answer all the questions you have. They have really good activities. Really the main concern is response times are not as fast as we would like, but I suppose our expectations might have been unrealistic. But we're not getting follow-up until days after asking.

I would say to give this community a try. I would try to make friends, its hard when you first go into something like this so it can take a while. I would recommend them for your loved one.

We chose Bloom at German Church because they were able to provide a private room under medicaid. The room itself is average size, it could be a little bigger but it is fine. I like that they have the beauty salon amenities on site. They also provide minimal transportation for appointments. I would recommend them to other families.

I would recommend them to everybody. But I would make sure they know it seems like they have a slight communication problem. Different people tend to call me with the same questions over and over, which can get a little aggravating why they're not noting these things in my mom's records. That's really the only issue I have with them. They're very friendly, and they engage my mother very well. She's a lot happier in this facility than she's been anywhere else. Everyone seems very sincere and kind.

The nursing coordinator and the wellness director have been very approachable and easy to reach. I have not had any billing issues or major complaints so far. They seem to offer a good amount of activities, and I've gotten to know the activities coordinator well. She's very personable and friendly. This is the first experience we've had with assisited living, and along the way I toured several different facilities. I was most impressed with Bloom because of the staff and directors, and it's only a few miles from where I'm located. Each time we've had any maintenance issues, like a lightbulb out or the AC needing attention, they've been pretty quick to respond, although that can depend on timing with weekends and such. During Covid, they've had some employees leave, which has affected things like timing of meals and laundry services, but those services are still there, which shows that they're trying. And I think that speaks volumes.

Our experience was only for a week, but during that week the staff really did try to help us out and work with us. It was pricey but there are other communities in the area that are more expensive that do not give the residents the correct attention.

The facility has a wonderful sense of community and stability. The residents are well cared-for, and the staff greets everyone by name. My main concern is that the rooms for the assisted living residents are only 275 square feet. Downsizing and moving are going to be hard for my mom. I think going from a 3-bedroom home to one room would be too drastic for her.

The rooms could be cleaner, communication was I would recommend this community to others.

We chose this facility because it is a sister facility to another one that we originally looked at. The other facility did not have any openings for respite, so they steered us to Willow Lake Place. I thought that it was conveniently located, when I got off work I could stop in to see her. I would recommend to others who are looking, my mom really enjoyed it.

They are friendly. The staff care about your loved ones. The food is good. Room sizes are good. I would definitely recommend Willow Lake Place. They were happy to see us when we visited. They have outdoor space.

My mom's in memory care unit. She's just returning from having fallen and breaking her hip. The facility is working with us to make sure my mom is looked after. We are looking forward to her continued happiness here!

Staff at the desk are the best part of Bloom at Belfair. They are always friendly and helpful. They are truly concerned for the residents. I give all of them a "10". (10 being the best)

This is a great community! When I think of what makes the great I think about several things. First the care and concern that comes from the employees. The aides are truly kind, compassionate and competent. [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed] are names that come to mind. They extent their care and concern beyond serving drinks with food. Second, the administrative staff have an open door policy and an open mind when I have a concern. Third, and last, I appreciate that my mom can go out on scenic drives to lunch. Sending an aide to assist those who need extra help is helpful. It wouldn't be an honest review if I didn't offer some suggestions. During meals and when getting the residents up for breakfast and to bed, three aides are needed. When only two aides are working residents have to wait too long to be helped and if someone needs help going to the bathroom during a meal then it makes it real difficult on the staff left in the dining room. Several residents also need help to stay at a table or to help them eat. If it was your mom or dad you wouldn't want them waiting to go to bed or to the bathroom, would you? My last suggestion is to offer more structured activities on the weekend. The residents are restless. A scenic drive would be nice. Clean, most staff is very considerate! Keep up all of the great activities, it really means so much to them!
