My brother went to Willow Lake and they had just changed ownership and he felt that it would not be a good idea to move our mom there while there are so many changes going on.

I came to visit this community to possible move it. The staff was nice. The community was clean and maintained. The did have a variety of meals. They offer nice activities. I would suggest families to see this community and get information on is it is what they are looking for when it comes to a loved one.

We never spent one day there, our loved one passed before she got the chance to move in, and we lost almost five thousand dollars. They were a very nice group to work with, but it's the reputation of nursing homes that they are in it for the money. It was not a good experience for us. It would be a good idea to make sure you will be able to move in for sure, before putting money down.

Junky facility. Stacks of old pallets and garbage bags, rotten pots, old appliances (heat/air units, fridge, etc.), discarded items throw behind the storage units. All visible from patio homes on back wing. Calling card for rats, snakes, strays. Needs a good clean up. Pictures available to support this review.

The staff members were all really friendly, however the value for cost is not worth it. Our loved one went in for assisted living level of care, completely ambulatory and within about three months is now skilled nursing care which completely devastated our family, especially with the finances. The care services at Willow Lake Place were completely non existent, our loved one was left in bed for hours which caused huge bed sores, and they never kept up communication with our family regarding anything with our loved one.

I would want others to know that we did not have an experience with Bloom at Kokomo. The facility itself smelled terrible. They had a male nurse who was excellent, but once he left, it went downhill. They were just very unorganized and I would not recommend them.

This place is absolutely horrible staff puts on a front as if they care for your loved ones but are concerned only with money employees a horrible staff of caregivers violating many state policies and regulations.
