Bloom Senior Living

The whole staff was very, very friendly. It seemed to me to be a clean place. They had excellent food there in the dining hall. Overall, it was just a very nice and good experience with Bloom at Bossier.

They just came kept telling us it was going to be assisted living and it's independent living right now and they just always keep saying "it's gonna be next week", so in my opinion the lady just lied a lot when the truth would have been better. It is really a nice place though.

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. I was able to pick out the paint for my studio and decide on wood or carpet for flooring. There is a full kitchen even in the studio! All three meals are included and there are tons of activities to participate in if interested. All the residents welcome you with open arms. Very happy with my decision.

I think the level of care is good for the value. Facility is clean and always smells good. Resident is able to care for herself with grooming and has a variety of activities available. Overall no issues with the facility and happy with the care given.

Overall, it's a really, wonderful place, I think, for her. I enjoy the people who are there; they are accommodating; great. If I need to talk to them, they are there and answer my questions; they have come in and answered her question. The location is great because it is located near me. Cost is really typical of facilities of the kind. She isn't really doing anything. They have lots of things that people can do.

We really love the new home for my father-in-law. Thank you to A Home For Mom for helping us find just the right home for him!

Everyone is so caring and they truly put the residents first and make everyone feel welcome and at home! Such a beautiful place!!

Our experience at Sunrise of Rocky River has been exceptional! From our very first "search" for a place for mom, although we choose another assisted living, David was occasionally in touch with us to make sure everything was going well. When we had a need for a different AL we contacted him immediately. From that moment he coordinated everything seamlessly including mom's transfer from a rehab center to AL to their Reminiscent Center. The staff are absolutely fantastic without an exception. The facility is flawlessly clean and inviting. The care has been phenomenal. We are SO pleased with our decision, and only wish that Sunrise had been our first choice early on.

This is not the first time I have had to place someone in nursing care. I really like Sunrise because of the bright cheery place that it is. It's not an instuitional nursing home. Plus the dog and cat on site really make it more like home.

Change did not come easily for my dad, we looked at many "very nice" places before we arrived at Sunrise of Rocky River. What first impressed me was the size, it was large enough to have several options but small enough that it is cozy and tight knit. My dad initially moved to the assisted living floor and had a lovely two room suite, as his health declined we moved him to the Memory Care floor which has been a blessing. The care my dad receives is outstanding, everyone (from the director to the kitchen staff) greets him (and our family members) by name, and always has time and patience to have a chat with him. My dad has Parkinson's disease and dementia, before moving to Sunrise we struggled to find home care options that fit his needs and stayed within our budget. Had I known how happy dad would be, we would have made this move sooner!

This community is very clean, friendly, and meets the needs of my father. Resident pets are on site and pet visits are allowed. This is a very nice community.

outstanding. by the lake. clean, small bldg. residents where happy. scheduled exercise 11 everyday. social events as well. have upstairs south room available(across from beauty shop)

Also very impressive. Director was very helpful and could relate to where I was coming from since she went through the same things with her mother several years ago that I am going through now. Comfort and care seem to be top priorities here as well as security which is a big concern of mine. Lots of activities for residents which is important to me. This is definitely on my possibility list.

Sometimes it is hard to find the nurse in the evenings. It is a nice place, I would recommend it. There is not always a nurse or someone to talk too when I visit. The nurse is on 2 floors, so sometimes I do not see her. Only issue we have really had is when my loved one had been over medicated. It was taken care of very quick. One of our family members visits daily.

The community is very nice, but the studio apartments are on the smaller side. However they are pet friendly which I love and the food overall is pretty good - not restaurant style but its pretty good.

The only thing she has a problem with is the hot water. She said it is a problem. Other concerns: I don't know when you are taking her to the doctor and when we need other arrangements. Besides that she loves the place. I feel she has gotten out there and seems to be doing great. Thank You

My Mom lived in this community for a very short time in 2018. Myself and 3 brothers really liked this place the most. My Mom suffered from Lewey Body Dementia and her condition changed very quickly. It is privately owned. I wish we moved her in much sooner so she could have enjoyed it more. Nice place. I will keep in mind if I or anyone I know needs more care in a Senior Living Community. They have more than 1 floor plan, it's all on level and the owner is very active with everyone that lives in this little community which is all on one level.

After a terrible ordeal at another facility, I moved my sister to Bloom at Eagle Creek. I knew she would miss her friends and Bible study groups, but I also knew she would adjust. She absolutely "bloomed" at Bloom! The staff was exceptional. Registered nurses during the day and staff to assist on the weekends and in the evenings. The facility is neat and clean and staff did a terrific job of cleaning her room, maintaining her laundry, assisting in her overall health care and providing meals. She loved the activities director who is marvelous and provided things she had never done before... Manicure Mondays, frequent trips for shopping. Very much a family atmosphere. She stayed until she was "called home." She loved it there!

So far all is well for my mother since her move to this community. She is doing well, and I'am comfortable with her move to this facility. They have a good staff, and they have good with taking good of their medication, and have been kind when I visit. There are plenty activities offered through out the week for the residents. I've had lunch with her a few times, and the meals are great. They have a nice variety of foods too choose from. This community is working out well for my family, and I would recommend it to my friends.
