The Blake at Waco looks like it is going to be a really good fit. It looks like it will meet our needs care wise. They do have different levels of care so you are able to age in place. They also adhere to dietary restrictions and needs which is a huge plus. It is pricey but we are hoping for the best.

We're very happy with The Blake at Hamlin. I have no complaints at all. The staff are friendly. The facility is brand new and updated. And they have nice amenities.

My friend is enjoying the community over all. The community has activities for the residents, and my friend is trying to adjust to these options. The food is good, and the staff are willing to assist the residents with making dietary changes.

Our experience at The Blake at Waco has been absolutely fabulous. They have done a wonderful job with my mother. The thing that sticks out most to me is the staff , they are just so caring. The room sizes are wonderful, my mother is in memory care and she has a very large room and bathroom. The bathroom is in her room which is key. I would absolutely recommend them to others without a doubt.

I would recommend you take your loved one to The Blake. They are so nice, friendly, and helpful. It is very clean, and relatively new. They have lots of activities for the residents to choose from. The food is enjoyed by my loved ones.

We are very happy with our experience at The Blake. We chose this facility because it is smaller and there are less residents here which we thought would fit his needs better. When you walk up to the facility, the landscape is beautiful and well kept. When you walk inside you are immediately welcomed by the friendly staff. Communication is the biggest thing for us and they have been great at keeping us updated through email/text/phone calls. I would recommend to others looking.

They were supposed to have opened this past summer, but they're still not open yet. We had been there several times to tour, and they were our end game plan. But we had to choose a different facility because they still have not opened. I liked them very much. The facility was brand new, and the people were great. It was a wonderful facility.

I have been very pleased with our experience with The Blake for respite care. I am looking forward to using them again in the future as well.

My loved one is happy and safe and they like the food. It's not what they are used to, but it is pretty good. It is a new community, and somethings have fallen through the cracks. However, the staff are responsive to requests and feedback from the families and residents.

They have an excellent staff all around - the executive director, the sales director, the bookkeeper/accounts receivable person, the marketing director, and the assistant wellness director are all awesome. They have a good food/beverage director and chef. I've had his food, and it's really good. When you walk into this place, you don't get the impression that it's an assisted living facility at all. It's very clean. My loved one's apartment is twice the size of where he was before, for the same price. He went from like a dorm room there, to a suite at The Blake, with a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and much bigger bathroom. It's like twice the square footage. So the value is great - he's getting a lot more for his money where he's at now. They have a coffee shop, a wine bar with a big grand piano, a physical therapy gym. All I can say, is you have to go check it out for yourself. It's really something to see. Especially because my loved one doesn't get around much, they always come by and offer to get him out and take him around to do stuff. They're very, very nice there. The physical therapy lady is very cool, and so is the activities director. You're not going to have many complaints here. They're just really good people. The executive director is really on top of her game. So is the sales director. Man, I just really like them all a lot. There's a solon on site, and the lady who cuts his hair - I love her to death. The facilities are just really top notch. It's brand new, so you won't find much wrong. Its very clean. The dining room is night and day form where we came from. The Blake breaks the rating scale - you get the impression you're in a nice, fancy restaurant. If you're talking mind over matter, everyone who works here minds, because the residents really do matter to them. You'll definitely have to go experience it for yourself. The last place was dingy and depressing, and The Blake is bright and white, with a big table with flowers in the entryway. And they're super nice when you walk in to have your temperature taken. There's a big coffee shop and lounge area. You don't get the impression at all that you're entering an assisited living facility. It looks kind if like a resort. But not at resort prices. It's a no brainer - come check it out. Save yourself the trouble, just come to the Blake first.

Nice greeting and tour. Staff were pleasant. All expected benefits and care available. I give it a 5 for that. Now, to me it felt small, closed in. My parents are used to lake life. The backside of the Blake scenery not so good. I’m sure there is an explanation.

I have already recommended this community to others. Everyone is so friendly, and they are communicative with the families. The staff even called to check on my mom during her rehab stay.

We chose The Blake at Woodcreek Farms because it looked nice and clean and it was close to my home. They have several different room sizes you are able to choose from depending on your loved ones needs. I looked at the food when I did my tour and it looked good. I would want other people to know that the memory care coordinator and senior staff are very good at what they do. I would definitely recommend this facility.

The thing that stood out to me about the cleanliness of the community is that during the Covid-19 pandemic, they have done a great job with keeping the residents and staff safe. The staff have done a great job with accommodating us during the community lock down. We have seen many of the care giving staff interacting with our mother and she really seems happy here. My mother has a history of frequent bladder issues and sometimes we think they could handle the situation a little quicker. They have done a great job keeping the residents occupied and our mother is loving what they have set up. We definitely think The Blake is a good value for the price.

My mother in law had a good respite stay at this community. It is an awesome community. It is very updated and reminds me of a five star hotel. There are a lot of windows and the community is very bright. They offer some daily activities and have a very nice theater. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was great, will be using this community again and I have already recommended it.

We like this community for the good care that is offered. the staff is nice and attentive to the needs of the residents. They offer a good variety of meals that are appealing. The activities are good and very helpful. The community really is clean and nice to enjoy. We would recommend this community for the care and the care of a loved one.

We had a great tour experience with The Blake at Hamlin, I liked this facility a lot. It was a great location for us and the staff were awesome. They had a welcome sign for us when we walked in. The facility was having an "Aloha" day and all of the staff and residents were dressed up so that was cool to see. They do also allow dogs in the memory care unit which was a plus. Before my moms insurance and all that would kick in, it was going to be pretty expensive which was why we went with another facility.
