Benchmark Senior Living

So far the difference between where she was and where she is now is like night and day. The Village has far better staff. They keep Mother involved in functions so she doesn't just sit in her room and dwell on hallucinations/delusions. So she is much happier, and it looks like she's healthier as well. Everything that we've needed or asked for they have provided right away. They're proactive as well. If they notice a need and they can address it, they do so. For instance, she needed a clothing item, and somebody went out and got it for her. I would tell anyone 100% yes, this is a good place to go.

It was a great experience all the way around. We looked at a lot of places and we were so pleased with Benchmark Senior Living. It is an assisted living model that can take you to the end of life instead of having to move to a hospital like setting which is why it was so special to us. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Benchmark Senior Living because I got a very comfortable feeling the first time I walked in here, there was just a warmth to the environment. The room sizes are plenty big, especially because they don't want the memory care residents in their rooms a lot so they can be out in the common areas together. I am always thanking the staff an really appreciate all of their efforts. They all seem happy and are always laughing with each other which sets a great tone for the residents. I would absolutely the facility to others looking.

Our sister was able to have an in person tour and she really liked it, it was a top contender and almost our first choice. The value for cost was great for the amount of space offered, but our loved one picked a different facility because she had friends there.

I was unsure of the place at the beginning. But after having my mother there for a couple of months, I was quite impressed with all they do for her. They keep her busy all day. If she wants to be engaged, there are a lot of things for her to do (although she says there's not enough Bingo). But if she doesn't want to do anything, she can go to her room and nap or watch TV or do whatever she wants. And I appreciate how clean they keep things. They clean the place every day.

This community is very friendly and they are low on staff at the time. They have activities like bingo, flower arrangements, religious services, wine gatherings and more for the residents to do to stay busy.

My "Place for Mom" consultant helped guide me through an excellent list of communities that met my criteria. We selected a great facility where my parents are happy and I have the peace of mind they are safe and I can visit with them regularly.

Our loved one hasn't complained about the meals and dining service so we have to assume they are good. We really liked that this community gave our loved one and all the other residents the opportunity to get involved in activities and develop a new social life. They have security which was a main concern for us, and this community is keeping our loved one safe and secured. We liked that they have onsite nursing and that they handle all things regarding medication.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community and its only a few minutes away from our family. The only reason we didn't pick Coachman, was because there were no more rooms available for memory care.

We were very impressed with our tour with Greenwich Farms. We really like that they have a step by step process and a care plan in place as individuals diseases progress. We are actually looking into this facility again.

The staff members are very welcoming, they have gone above and beyond for our family and have answered any questions we have ever had. Everything so far has been above our expectations. The activities coordinator there is amazing, she has encouraged our loved one to get her to a place we never thought she would get to and now she loves participating in the activities which is something we love.

It does get expensive when your loved one is their for respite care, but we had a good first impressed based on the interactions we had with the staff members and our loved one chose this community because the apartments were much bigger.

This community is an excellent place for your mom or any family member that needs assisted living. My loved one loves it here. They have activities like bingo, movies, getting hair and nails done and more for the residents to do.

Overall I feel the majority of staff is attentive and friendly. My main complaint would be that the rooms could be cleaned more frequently-including laundry.

The care seems to be good. They're very attentive and helpful. Somebody is always popping in to see if my loved one needs anything. The design and the style of the place is very home-like. It's not industrial at all. The common rooms are like living rooms. She was very impressed with how it feels so welcoming. She tells me the food is good. And the cost seems in line with what other places in the area are charging.

We chose Village at South Farms because they were close to our house and the director who gave us the tour was very informative, kind, and really made the experience a good one. All of the staff have been very friendly and I would recommend to others looking.

Things are going very well at The Village so far, the staff members and their care services go above 5 stars. We love all the personal touches and the main director [name removed] greets all of the residents by their first name

This community is fantastic, we never want to leave. There are a lot of activities here and my wife is a piano player so the community will ask us to play the piano and sing songs for the other residents. The meals come out nice and hot and they change everyday. The dining staff have been very nice. On Monday's they have tea and scones. The staff members are very friendly and have kept up good communication with us.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a very good experience, it was right in line with other communities we checked out. However, the apartments weren't as newly renovated like the other communities we saw.
