We chose Emeritus because we were impressed when we visited it. The staff is really friendly and we felt and still feel it is a good fit for our situation. There seems to be a bit of a communication error when we were trying to get our loved one situated. They only do mail order medication through certain mail orders so ensure you verify they will be able to accommodate your loved ones medications. Another issue is that we do not feel like there are a sufficient variety of activities for the different type of residents here. There is a schedule of what is going on but when you ask about it seems like it is not organized. Overall I am very pleased with our choice and would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to work with, dependable, and seem to be genuinely concerned about the residents there.

Keep looking, unless that's the only place you can afford.. They say they have, Transportation, but only on certain days at certain times... first come basis Need to get patients out more Need to improve on communication, some way to talk with staff, via phone, actives, rides to Dr.appts, needs someone at front desk, at all times.. need someone for weekends with a cell phone, at the facility...

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Ridge at Woodstock and her experience at this facility has been okay so far. The cleanliness is great. We moved our loved one into this facility because we needed more help. The care services are okay. However, they don't answer the emergency button on a regular basis. The staff are nice, but there's not enough of them. The food is good. The activities and value for cost are good.

There was broken promises. We picked this community because of the location and promises made. They can improve by, Actually having people who want to help when needed and don't make promises food wise that you don't plan to keep.

It is very difficult to speak with someone, with questions or concerns about patient, or get any feedback from them. They do not seem to have enough staff for patients needs. To others who are looking into The Village at Bellevue for their loved ones, I would suggest to shop around first.

I found Legacy Ridge at Woodstock to be very unorganized. The care was not the best. And I would not recommend it based on our family's experience there.

Overall we have been satisfied with this community. it has been hit or miss with the staff some of them have been great and some of them have not been the best. My loved one is not the easiest to work with but some of the staff try harder than others. The food has gotten better due to the new chef. My loved one has high standards on food so sometimes she is not happy with the meals.

We really liked the director. They were super nice. But it was just a very older community/building, and we were looking for more updated.

They were under construction at the time that we toured, and it looked like it was going to turn out nice. But their care services were all a la carte offerings, and I wasn't comfortable with what the price could potentially be.

The place is nice and clean. Older facility, but well maintained. [name removed] was very helpful. The pricing was in my range even with the service charge for care. Interested in this option, but waiting on more information from the doctors on what will be needed and how soon.

The times I have gone there, it seems clean. The common areas were clean. The replaced most of the front desk staff, but there were some issues with the kitchen staff and some of the night staff were a little unfriendly. Some of the staff are pretty attentive and some aren't so willing to assist. There are three items that are the same thing for 3 days on the menu and quality of the food at the community has declined and there are only two items now available. The cost at Legacy is expensive. The increased the monthly charges, but there is nothing to show for it. The activities do seem to be adequate.

I met with [name removed]. Facility is older, but clean. It had a more subdued feel for me. The rooms were very small. Not a lot of common space besides the dining room. he said for only minimal shower help she MAY not have a care charge.

The staff is very friendly at Brookdale Neese Road Woodstock . The value is pretty good here. They could probably use a little more activities. Mom is in memory care and I really like the staff there. I've had some trouble with them doing her laundry. I've had to remind them several times to do it.

Handrails in resident hallways. Smaller shower. Quiet, not a lot of visible staff, maybe considering the time. Monitoring device worm by residents that tracks location throughout the facility. Air controlled in each resident's rooms. Pets allowed, Allergies? LPNs.

Running special for one bedrooms $2295, normally $3,295. They have four levels of care, 1st level is $325, and that is doubled for level 2 and again for level 3 and so on

This isn't a terrible place; however, if you can find a different place I would recommend you go with the other option. We weren't able to visit my loved one during their stay due to COVID. The staff would seem annoyed when we would call check on our loved one.
