My mother, [name removed], has resided at The Manse since November 2015. My sister ,[name removed] and I moved our mom to this location after she was criminally abused while residing at another facility in Vista. After the devastating event, we began extensive search for a suitable place that could accommodate the needs of our mother. We chose the Manse for various reasons, but primarily due to the smaller number of residents. This allowed for more personal care of the residents. There was better interaction with the staff and fellow people living there. We cannot be happier or more satisfied with our decision as any concerns we have are always addressed quickly and professionally. Since moving into the MANSE , our mother is more content, has gained weight and shows much less stress. We enthusiastically support and confidently recommend The Manse as an assisted living home. Although each may have their specific duties, they seem to work as a unit and compliment each other. They have a gift of patience and love to make the residents feel secure and safe. They work as a team tightly knitted together pouring out their care which was well received by our mom and the other residents. The home was nice with doors open for fresh air. My brother was happy living there. He said the food was good and everyone (caregivers) treated him well. I would recommend the Manse (assisted living and memory care) as a good place to have someone you love who needs care." [name removed]

We did a tour last week here and the main impression is the huge colonial style home. so big and inviting... a locked gate to protect our mom who is needing extra care now. her ability to have a surrounded gated area is so important for us. the financial cost was also a determining factor for our decision. it is a great room she will share with a friend so they will talk and have much fun . the staff is great as we know we will be able to walk in anytime to visit. she could be in the main hall or having lunch or outside in the plush garden areas. lots of walking outside. we felt welcomed and it was very quaint .

I have a beloved family member at this facility. I have visited on many occasions and at different times and have always found the accommodations in stellar condition. the staff, specially the owner, have always been helpful and kind. Although this place is a large mansion with many trees and grassy areas, it has the feel of "home" with indoor and outdoor safety and gated at all times. I recommend you visit for yourself and not miss out in this gem of a place. I find the negative misrepresentations offensive since I would never place my family in this place if any of those claims were truthful.

Lovely facility

My Mom lives here and things have been good so far. There was one glitch at the beginning that we had (that has since been rectified) but everything else has been good. There’s always someone from management that’s on site, even on the weekends. The staff has been excellent. They’re so sweet to Mom and they’re very attentive. Her hair is always done and they even do her nails often, which the other ladies that live there also love. The facility is kept very clean. The kitchen bakes cookies for Christmas and after they’re done, they’ll move everyone to another room while they clean up so I think they have a good system set up for cleaning and keeping things orderly. They’ll take everyone out for lunch or dessert and they have different board games available. They really like to keep everyone busy and the only time the TV is on, while I’ve visited, is at night. I would recommend them for others, my Mom has been happy here.

I thought Vista Gardens was wonderful, definitely worth a five-star. The community is beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Really, their only downsides are that they are quite expensive, and that they do not offer respite care.

My Grandma is here and so far things have been going great. Actually it’s going a lot better than we thought it would go. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and there’s a lot of one on one with people. They try to get everyone involved with activities to get them out of their rooms, which was a big positive for my grandma because she was never able to get out. They have everything from painting class to a hula dancer coming by and teaching them how to dance and all about the culture. They have cooking classes, they have pretty good lunches and dinners and I even ate there once (it was pretty good). They have some outings around town and just recently they’ve started having the residents getting out of the vehicle and exploring. There’s a ton of options for food and when it’s time to eat there isn’t a menu to choose from, but there’s a variety of food that they get and there’s dessert after. The facility itself is very clean and they’re still basically brand new. Every time I go over there it seems to be spotless. Overall, I think she’s happy here.

My husband was at Barton Creek for just over a year. During that time he was treated kindly and served professionally by a competent and caring staff. He was reluctant. They were persistent and wonderful. Their willingness to work with him and with me was beautiful. They helped us as a family. Beyond what was required, and excellent on every front.

We toured this community and like the staff that is nice and caring. We like the staff, but they do not have a lot of space outdoors to walk around. The community is large and did not have the feeling the feeling that we were looking for. The menu was nice and we liked the lunch on the tour. They offer a lot of activities that are offered to the residents. We would recommend this community for other families to tour for the care of a loved one.

Hello I would like to give one of the my most sincere , honest and best shout outs and reviews I have ever done to a truly fantastic place that I was so Blessed to move my mom to Vista Gardens in Vista Ca. . . .This place is so very Gorgeous with nice sized rooms and on my mom’s room a Jack and Jill bathroom ,It is very clean, Very Friendly , and has a great staff , and is truly just so very encouraging and uplifting as hard as it is on the family to place a loved one in a facility .It has a gorgeous patio for my mom and everyone to enjoy the outside and the sun whenever she wants that we were blessed to have an awesome BBQ on yesterday for Memorial day . I honestly cannot say enough though about the whole staff here, [Removed] and all the nurses and caregivers, Food workers , and [Removed] in maintenance and so many more .. Everyone here are truly some of the nicest staff I have found anywhere that make you feel loved and reassured that your loved one will be loved and cared for just like family. I have seen and talked to many many places throughout the North county San Diego area and this is a true diamond) mom is only 69 but has a Disabling Disease called Lymphedema in both her legs that has also made her very anxious, depressed, and embarrassed of her legs .It has been truly hard finding anyone who would help take on this challenge with her legs. It is truly one of the hardest things as her son I have ever had to deal with in life next to the death of my father .Please take my word when I say Look no further and take a tour at Vista Gardens if it is that time in life for a loved one. The whole staff is so very caring and loving. Mom was moved in last Friday 5/26/17..And I can not lie This has truly been a hard transition for both the family and the mom to accept but everyone here is so caring and loving and treats us all like family. I pray my mom calms down and comes out of her shell and truly gets to be a part of this whole family here with so many friends around her that will not judge her. I am not one to ever really do reviews but I felt the need to do this one for sure as everyone here has gone above and beyond to help my mom get settled in And I am just so Very Thankful.. One of the best parts of Vista Gardens other than just the great care and attention, is the many activities, awesome food and so much more is the LOVING environment my mom is receiving here.. I feel my mom will love it here and she says she does .I look forward to seeing Vista Gardens become part of our Family. I am excited to continue to see the fantastic care and love Vista Gardens has to offer to all its residents but most of all for my beautiful mom and also to finally get to see my mom have a Happy, Healthy, Active, and Safe Life again. With a quality of life that not many places can offer with her leg condition …. Vista Gardens is a 5 star all the way... We toured this community for the care for my mom and dad. We found the staff to be attentive and we able to answer the questions that we had. The community was nice and clean and they offered a good variery of meals. Activiites are offered to the residents that want to participate. We would suggest that families tour this communty.

I was hesitant about my husband going into a care facility. I previewed several and decided on Brookdale RanchoMirage. I am very pleased with my decision. Actually even more than I thought I would be. The staff has been wonderful and very caring. I'm happy with my decision.

We like this nice community. for good care. The staff caring are very patient and caring. The meals are good with a healthy variety to choose from. The community is very clean and we do like that she likes the activities that are available. We would recommend other families to this community for a great value and the great care.

The staff at this community treat the residents as adults. They show them respect and do not talk down to them. They offer daily activities and happy hours. Dad likes the food. The kitchen staff knows him by name and what he likes. They have a lovely dining room. This community has an intimate setting and everything dad needs is within walking distance. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. I would recommend this affordable community.
