The dining experience has been inconsistent as well as the food quality. Also their ability to deliver the menu that they say will be served is inconsistent but we would still not hesitate to recommend this community.

Overall I would have to say that Barton Creek took great care of my In-laws. Most of the staff were very kind and attentive to their needs....and in our case, the needs were Great. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the food could be a little bit better..... it wasn't awful, but it really could be better. But once again, you can feel good bringing your family members here.

We aren't able to be there during the meal time, but our loved one is putting on some weight so we assume the meals have to be pretty good. Also she is kept extremely busy during the day with all the activities going on

My loved had a short but good stay here. I liked the location. It seemed nice. There were always residents out talking to each other, and the staff was always up and walking around. They were very attentive to the residents. I did see bingo and other things going on most days when I was there to visit, and attendance looked pretty good as well. It was always easy to come and visit. Sometimes the parking lot was full, but there was plenty of parking nearby. Compared to the other places I looked at, it was a good value and very competitive.

When we were on our tour we saw a staff member do something special for a residents to help make them more content and comfortable so that gave off a really good first impression. It demonstrated that they really pay attention to the residents as individuals.

The staff members at Brookdale have been really good friendly and helpful. Due to the covid restrictions the activities in the beginning were pretty limited but now they are getting better and better.

The people are nice, and I've made good friends. The food's not so good, but oh well. I would say it's average, nothing to write home about. Some days it's better than others. But I think they have good intentions. It's a nice, safe place, and utilities are included.

Pro: Grounds, menu, shuttle, activities, location off freeway Con's: confused staff, not many residents hanging around

I liked Brookdale Riverwalk. I was impressed. It looked very nice, especially the landscaping. But I found a place that was a better fit, where I have my own cottage with 2 bedrooms. Even though I liked Brookdale, it was smaller and more expensive.

I think everything has gone really well. The communicatio0n between the community and the Staff is very good I would recommend this community to others

The is right there with the rest Lots of promises, and on occasion they mist the mark. The are okay and better than the prior community.

We chose Atria Collwood because my conversation with the director was very impressive, the location of the facility, and when you walk in it smelled clean. Out of the ones we looked at this was the best choice. She is in a studio and it is a little small for all of the things she has, but she has a back door leading out to a patio. Even through all the covid stuff, it has been a good experience and I am excited for her to be able to utilize all of the amenities. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Serento Casa because they were taking new residents during covid, they did make the transition very easy and they were accommodating to our family. Also based on prior reviews, it did look like a good choice. It helps to know the staff and know how to get in touch with them directly if needed. I would recommend them to other families who are looking.

A little outdated but very staff seems very nice. I would place my father here but the cost would eat up all of his income and more,

We chose Atria at the time because my mom wanted a 2 bedroom and they had a better value for the money. It was also close to home. The 2 bedroom is very nice size for her, it is like 2 studios put together. I have eaten here and the food is something they could improve on. I would want others to know that it seems like you get more value for your money here, but it is an older facility. Overall, I would recommend it.

He really likes Barton Creek. The workers and the residents. He has been in there a lot of years. The biggest disappointment is the food. Food was good years ago but new is the worst it's ever been.

Very nice, lots of amenities. A little pricier than I had hoped, but because of the extra attention required for my husband. We will arrange an evaluation to get a solid quote. [Name removed] was very informative and helpful. 4.5 rating for antiseptic smell in model room and hallways.

Brookdale was nice. Clean and roomy common areas along fair outdoor courtyards. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected. Good nutrition choices and lots of options on the menu. Lots of activity choices.
