So far it’s seams like a very wonderful place for my Mom The only reason I’m giving the activity a low score is because the state or who ever is in charge of running this facility will not let these elderly people participate in social events. But [name removed] is trying her best to offer the residents at American House a new normal . Thank you

Very nice residence. Clean, smells nice, residents appeared to be happy. Room size is adequate. No problem, just that moving from a house to an apartment would be an adjustment for my folks, but they could have what they need in an apartment of this size. Family atmosphere.

The community is very nice, and the staff is helpful.

What a change from the previous residence facility! This is for living! My mom loves the feeling of American Home; it’s a bubbly place with good activities, great food , and positivity . It’s wonderful for the apartment to have laundry & a kitchen ! Happy mom, happy daughter!

Staff very friendly and facilities were very clean and modern very bright and cheerful. Floor plan is well laid out so resident does not have to walk far to reach any of the facilities services.

Its just beautiful and the staff is wonderful and friendly.

Ive loived in other communiuties and found this community to be affirdable, but you also get your money worth. The Medical team could be a little more friendlier, but overall all the staff are great. Ive made a lot of friends here

I really enjoy how friendly everyone is in the building. Ive made so many friends, and Im looking forward to more years of good times. many places wont allow you to keep your animals, but here at american house you can bring your small pet with you.

I enjoy bingo at the building. There are so many activities and they are well organized. I enjoy living here, and all of the friend I have met.

This was the first apartment we toured. My grandma didn’t want to look anywhere else. She’s moving in and we couldn’t be happier

Brownstown is a beautiful location for mom. The rent is more than affordable, the apartments are gorgeous (lots of closet space), and the community is very active. There is a lot going around town and there is an awesome walking path in the back. She has met a lot of great people there. Staff is caring and go out of their way, building is very clean, never have to wait for maintenance to be done. Right by police station so she feels safe. 5/5

When my sister and I arrived we were told they did not have an appointment for us on the schedule. However they still accommodated us and were very kind. My sister only had two comments of concern. Stated the place had a nursing home feel to it upon entry. Also was uncomfortable with the long halls. Otherwise, she liked the units we were shown and thought they were very nice. Still looking.

Very good place to live and have activities. Good services.

American House Lakeside is an amazing facility. FABULOUS Office Staff, Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping and The Medical Team. Mom used the Med Team quite often and they were always there to help my mom whenever she needed it. Sadly, Mom passed away recently and we will of course miss Her dearly, but I will miss the Fabulous Staff as well.

The staff at this community are really sharp and efficient. The maintenance and housekeeping are friendly and very helpful. They do not offer a lot of social activities. I would recommend this community.

Great place. Very nice apartment-like rooms and good feel in facility. Lovely wooded surroundings and apartments have pleasant/peaceful balconies. W&D in each unit. This would be Independent Living with services added when needed - medical team on property. Can stay in place as needs increase. Many employees been with company for many years.

My first choice for mom. Clean, new, beautiful and close to my home. Unfortunately, mom said it reminds her of a hospital.

I do feel comfortable with my father move to this community. I love to this community, everything is working our very well, and I'am pleased with his move here. This is a great community with kind people. Everyone has been wonderful.
