I have generally been satisified with the care my wife has received.

Getting better now that more caregivers are onboard.

Our experience has been pretty good so far other than the staffing turnover and the lack of communication with that. Need an updated contact list with phone numbers, email addresses. Also, a concern that the staff has no idea when a memory care resident leaves the house. No one knows where they went or who took them!!

My wife has been at the Fox Point Azura facility for about 2 months. She's often difficult, so I spend 4-6 hours there most days. I don't want to spend that much time there but it helps with her. The staff tries to give pills and showers, but if she's difficult or combative, they wait for me. One thing that might make things work better might be more staff continuity.

Don't like the food. It's always the same. The staff is good and they work hard to try and do a good job. Sometimes they don't have enough staff on.

I think the staff and management has done so well during the pandemic. They activities are great and everyone is so wonderful and nice to work with. If I could add one piece of constructive advice, probably just like most places, more care giving staff is needed for such a large community.

My brother was the one who did a virtual tour with Azura, he said he liked the facility there was nothing wrong with it but he just felt stronger towards another one he had seen in person.

They do offer a lot of activities, and we do know our parents are active in them. We would recommend this community they have been great during this whole pandemic.

We are very pleased with the care that our loved one gets at this facility. The caregivers seem very capable and compassionate. There have been a few minor glitches but I would recommend this memory care facility to anyone looking for a home-like place for a loved one.

I feel my mom is where she needs to be! I feel secure in knowing where she is. The staff that I know that have been working with her are wonderful. She sometimes says it is boring there, she does great when she is engaged in the things she likes to do.

Our tour was cancelled. [Name removed] and I spoke and my family need to put the finances together before we could decide what to do with the parents. [name removed] was a great help and answered alot of questions. She also gave me contact numbers for VA Benefits.

This is a relatively new organization. It seems like they are going through some growing pains. This community like other businesses has a staffing shortage. There has been turnover of staff. The administration doesn't seem to be around since my loved one moved in. The only management position I have seen is the house manager. It would be nice to have administration be more visible to the families and residents. It seems that there is a lack of leadership in this community. The house manager is very nice to deal with, I wish they would be more proactive in fixing issues that have been raised. The people and atmosphere are very pleasant. This has stayed the same since my loved one in. They do have some good foundational care set up for the residents. The housekeeping of my loved one's room could be improved. I wish there was more directions giving to the staff to point the staff in the right direction. The staff is more observant when I visit my loved one. There are times that my loved one has requested assistance via the call button, and the staff are slow to respond. The staff communication with the families and residents needs to be improved to let them know what is going on.

Some staff are friendly and acknowledge visitors. Others, act like visitors don't exist. Makes you wonder how they treat the residents. Our mom transferred from another Azura location, as Brookfield did not have an opening when we needed it. I understand that each facility is it's own entity, but mom's information didn't get shared. Not until we noticed certain things did it become apparent that information was not shared, but that no one from Brookfield asked.. Mom likes the food. I've noticed that mom has "attended" activities that she was not there for, as she was out visiting family or at Drs appt. Not sure how attendance is being taken. No one is taking photos of her participation. At the other location, there were some photos that were taken of some of the activities, and that was nice to see. We are a little disappointed on this as we were so excited to have found this place. First impression was great; reality needs improvement.

You will not feel confident in your loved ones' care. The staff is incompetent. You will receive lackluster care and get only a portion of the services you were promised, at full price. It's truly scary - especially for those who need a lot of help. There really should be stronger regulations in place for elderly care.

Not up to standards, poor staff communication, I've seen much better!
