Aviva Senior Living

My loved one is a resident at Aviva West Hartford. This facility appears to be the type of facility that would appeal to someone categorized as "Independent" and still ambulatory with resident parking spaces accessible to the front entrance, flexible dining hours with breakfast (anytime of day, is my understanding), a dedicated movie room with comfortable seating, a pool table or billiards (I don't know the difference), a pub with happy hours, and a chapel to steal away for quiet meditation/communion with God. If I lived here, I would be content.

We picked this community, because it was newly remodeled, new memory care director who wants to work with families also to find the best activities and options for the residents, new fall detection system. I would recommend to others.

It was a very nice facility. The staff were good. The price made the difference in choice of the community that I chose.

It is a very nice environment for my mother. They have a great staff that provide good care at a reasonable monthly cost.

I was very happy with Maybelle Carter. MC is a beautiful facility. It is a good value for ur money. The activities inside and the outings are great. The recent remodeling is beautiful. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

Staff were great always helpful and management was great. My only problem was the Doctor who signed the death certificate said he died from Alzheimer's and did not get the report from Aultman Hospital which was from kidney failure and complications from prostate cancer which has caused me problems with the VA compensation. Overall I was very happy with Aviva Hills!

Aviva Valparaiso has been a really good community for our family. The staff members have been very good - they seem to genuinely care for our loved ones needs and they always answer the questions we may have. We aren't there all the time for activities but we do know they take little trips, they sing and even bring in musical entertainment. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families.

Memory care staff was absolutely incredible for my mom and my entire family! [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]went above and beyond and I will continue to love and care about them even though my mom has passed. Again, the staff was amazing and treated us like we were family and cared for my mom with professionalism and in a kind and loving manner. [name removed]does an incredible job and is so gentle and kind Loves all the residents we were so happy to find such a friendly, loving place that truly felt like home

It's very clean. They are very friendly. The staff is awesome. The food was great. They have a pool table, and extra things around for the residents. My loved one has a one bedroom apartment, and gets three meals per day. it's great value for the money. Anytime I need anything, they are always very accomodating.

The interaction with the staff is good. They offer good activites, but my loved one has not engaged in them yet. We picked this community, because of the availability, and they got back to us right away. I was impressed with the facility. They are doing good. They def got to know, my loved one right way. They were able to meet our needs. I would recommend to other families.

Based on the experience so far we believe it is going pretty good, the community is always clean when we come to visit and from what we can tell the staff are taking really good care of him. We do not come when they are doing activities but we do know they play bingo a lot. Overall he seems to be happy with the meals even though occasionally some may be better then others. We would recommend this community to other families.

There is more ore people my loved ones, age to interact with. I am very pleased with this place. We picked this community, because my loved one liked it, it was a close location. It's a nice place. I would recommend to other families. They have a lot of activies for the residents.

My loved one loved the food. The activites were great. The value for the money was good. They took such good care of my spouse, and if I needed anything they were spot on. I would recommend to other families. It was a blessing, that I found the place. They were very supportive and made sure things got done.

Journey senior living is an amazing place for the elderly. Staff is absolutely amazing , caring, and friendly. Facility is very clean and organized. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a loved one that needs a little extra assistance.

The staff is kind, attentive and courteous. Mom is content here, and always says that everyone treats her very well. The administrative staff is always aware of concerns and the nursing/caregiver staff show care and concern and helps to fix any health issues.
