We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought it was a nice looking place overall, but it would not have been a good fit for my loved one. It was too large, and I think it would have been too intimidating for her.

Things are going well, and they are doing a pretty good job. The only thing I would like to see changed or maybe done a little differently, is the monitoring of the meals. They kind of check and make sure that they show up to one meal, if they don't come to breakfast and lunch, they will check to make sure they are okay, and make it to dinner, but I would like to see them check for breakfast and lunch as well. Maybe even bring a tray up if they missed it.

Very nice community and staff is attentive. They have many activities for the residents to do. If there is any issue, then the staff works to correct it very quickly.

Overall things have gone very well with Rittenhouse! It's a very nice looking, clean, and well kept facility. The staff are friendly and professional. I like that they learn everyone's schedule, and will check in on residents if they don't show up to meals, etc. They really do a great job with the activities! There's so much going on that they could really wear a person out! My loved one also enjoys that they have live music often.

My dad has lived at Maybelle Carter for about 1 1/2 years. He is very happy there. He is well taken care of and enjoys the many activities. The facility is very well maintained, always very neat and clean.

Paige, the social/recreational director, was the one who gave me a tour and she was phenomenal. You could see that she was engaged with all the residents and they had a relationship with her. I wasn't quite as impressed with the person running the memory care floor. There was much less warmth there. She was not warm and fuzzy. I was looking for a place where my mom, who has Alzheimer's, and my dad, who doesn't, would be able to stay in the same apartment. Paige said this is not right for you. She was very honest.

Overall it is great now. There were some definite bumps in the beginning with communication and some other things but once we got past that, it's been great. The place itself is very nice and the food is fantastic which I was worried about because my mother is a very good cook and eater, she doesn't like hot dogs and things like that. The menu at Atria is unbelievable. We've eaten there several time and it's delicious. The actual residents are wonderful too. The issues in the beginning I feel like could happen anywhere. Nothing is prefect. I like that they have a monthly fee versus a daily fee. Even if they're comparable in the end, it makes you feel like it's more value because it doesn't feel like they're nickel and diming you for every little thing. It also is one of the places that gives the most flexibility in terms of how they structure their care. They really do adjust for you instead of expecting you to adjust to them.

The care services are very good. My father doesn't participate too much in the activities so I don't know too much about them but there are activities available. In terms of the care, the aids and the dining room staff are outstanding. There were issues early on with the nursing staff but they've since gotten a new nursing director and that has improved 1000%. It's really hard to find something bad to say about them - they're great. I would recommend them to anybody.

It is very early but we really like the place so far. Everything seems to be going very well and she seems to be happy here. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We are pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone.

Very good tour and very nice lunch for my mom. She felt a bit more comfortable at Emeritus but this was also a nice option.

Looking for a larger apartment facility, but a great place!

Loved the apartments we saw/location is perfect. Price with special was great. Very clean. GREAT events calendar. Bonus to have phys.therapy on-site. Food was good. Amenities/Services are just what mom needs. Staff seemed nice. clientele seemed very old; place was really quiet/empty (would she be lonely?).

Director was very pleasant and the facility appeared to be very nice... and the facility lovely.. no particular reason to not choose it as a possibility.

Director was great the place was clean lots to do there the rooms are nice and seemed to be a place Mom might thrive with interaction of caregivers and others.

The staff seemed happy and so did the residents. The apt is very nice and big. They have a gazebo to sit on and a swing. They can also sit in front of the facility, they had a lot of rockers there.

Private paid community. Can use independant living with "options" of additional assistance. Includes rent, utilities, cable, weekly housekeeping, laundry (sheets/towels), 3 meals daily and activities. Medication mantainance is available for additional fee. Very pretty apartment.
