Avalon Memory Care

We found this facility upon referral. We called and set-up appointment to meet with Strong and discuss the needs of our loved one. We had planned a June move in date, but unfortunately circumstances arose that expedited the move in date. While our loved one was in hospital and we focused on her care, after notifying [name removed] with Avalon of situation she made the transfer of our loved one from hospital to Avalon seamless and easy given the situation. We are more than thankful for her help and our loved one has responded well to the staff and others at Avalon. Truly a God send and we highly recommend [name removed] and Avalon!

Amazing management here! I love how my parents can be in the same room together. The staff has been amazing and caring!! The facility is super clean and the outdoor area is really nice for relaxing in the sun.

I have never seen a group of caregivers at all levels providing such constant, compassionate, expert and loving care. We just moved our Mom and everyone in our family is in awe of the environment created here for all of the residents, staff and family members. There are so many ways that she now feels engaged, seen, loved and cared for all day and night long.

We appreciate everything Avalon accomplished for and with my mom. We only have one lifetime with our loved ones. When you find a place where the precious time left can be experienced with loving care and attention, your peace of mind is priceless. The staff here are so attentive and always communicate with me. It’s not usually easy to leave your loved one in the hands of strangers at a facility, but the staff have made the transition easy because of their kindness and attentiveness. I’m so glad to have made the call to them when I did.

My mother's dementia had reached a point that she could no longer care of herself on her own. The team at Avalon on Hughes are amazing. They took care of her, called me at the first sign of any trouble (a fall, a bruise, etc), which was rare to occur. They were patient and understanding with her, and I would recommend anyone to entrust them with their loved one. The home is manageable with only a handful of residents per facility, and an atmosphere that didn't feel clinical at all.

The caretakers at Avalon kept us well-informed and were very kind to our family member. A friend recommended Avalon to us and I would whole-heartedly do the same for any family looking for a caring and competent facility for anyone needing memory care.

I recently visited my cousin at Avalon. I was very pleased to meet some of the staff taking care of her and witnessed their loving and compassionate interactions with her. The food was wonderful and her room was kept tidy and clean. Thank you, Avalon Memory Care, for your thoughtful care.

I would highly recommend the Avalon Memory Care facility because they provide a family home environment with a caring and respectful staff as opposed to a sterile institutional setting which we experienced elsewhere with my husband’s parents. The empathy that the company instills in their staff from the top down is unparalleled.

Avalon is made up of incredible angels who have hidden wings. We brought our father here after a horrible experience elsewhere and we cannot say enough amazing things about the staff at Avalon. They have not only connected with our dad, but most of them even know us (his family) by name! When we arrive to see our father, unless it’s very early or bedtime, they have already gotten him out of bed, showered, dressed and sitting in the TV area with a lot of other residents who are hanging out, watching TV or visiting. Also if you take a walk down the hallways where the rooms are you’ll find most rooms to be picked up, clean and beds made. Our father is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s so we know he’s not ‘there’ but the staff at Avalon still treat him like a respected individual who still matters. He may not know much of what’s going on but I can’t begin to tell you what it does to our hearts to see the unbelievable care the team at Avalon shows him and us.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding care my mother has received at Avalon Memory Care. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this community prioritizes the well-being and happiness of its residents.

After searching many places we chose Avalon. The workers truly loved and cared for my mom like family, it never smelled, it felt like a home not a facility. I am a very hands-on daughter and was in the facility most days. I Highly recommend Avalon!

I have visited this facility several times and on each visit Avalon has been very very clean, the staff is amazing and very friendly. On my visits I also noticed that the residents are very friendly and seem to be very happy at their home. This is a wonderful place for the staff and the residents.

My grandmother spent her last year as a part of this loving community. They welcomed our entire extended family and became a part of our family as well. The sweet staff went above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure that she was comfortable and happy in addition to attending to her medical and personal care needs. We cannot thank everyone enough for brightening our final year with grandma.

My father was diagnosed with Lewy bodies and Parkinson's. The team at Avalon Memory Care took him in after we were unable to safely support my father at home. [name removed] and team made the registration process very easy and cared well for my father during his stay. They even made life easier for us once my father passed. We feel blessed to have been able to house my father in such a caring environment during his final days on earth.

I am extremely happy with the exceptional care my mother has received at Avalon. The staff is very caring, loving and attentive. I like the small, family like environment and the clean, beautiful facility. They have gone above and beyond my expectations.

I am very happy with the care my sister receives at Avalon. The staff is always caring, patient and kind and attentive to her needs and wants. The facility is clean and neat. What I like the most is the low number of residents that allows more specialized care. She is always clean and has her hair washed and in clean clothes. Dementia is a nasty disease and I don’t wish it on anyone but if you have a loved one that needs this kind of specialized care, I would recommend Avalon Memory Care.

Have had a great experience in placing my loved one. They were very helpful every step of the way and they helped me work through some difficult struggles. Highly recommend these caring people to make this very difficult process as easy as possible.

My experience with Avalon has been completely positive. The staff provided excellent care for my husband during his residence there. They are kind, professional, flexible, and caring. They went above and beyond to help my husband (and me) with the very difficult transition from home to memory care. The facility director is always open to communication with family. He responds very quickly to questions or concerns. The administrative staff in Dallas are very efficient, helpful, and courteous.

Everyone that I have encountered here is amazing. They are always smiling and eager to help. You can tell and feel the love that they have for the residents as well as staff and visitors. Another fun perk is it’s gorgeous inside and out.
