Well appointed memory care facility. One of the best in Houston. Great staff, very attentive to my family member. I would recommend this location to everyone. We had many choices and When the time is right, we will choose Avalon above others..

I had the pleasure of meeting [name removed] a couple months back and I must say I love the culture he has developed at Avalon. Executive Director [name removed]and staff are truly wonderful and will go above and beyond for your loved ones. A lovely and loving place. It’s clean, it’s updated and organized. This is a very suitable place for my loved one. I have toured many places but this is the one that feels the best. I would advise everyone tour Avalon before making a decision.

Amazing staff and very clean facility. Great care and caring staff. Would recommend others to this facility without hesitation. The staff is very comforting and makes sure that every question is answered and that you have everything you need.

I moved my dad in to Avalon Irving last year. He was asked to move from the memory care that he was in because of his hallucinations. They can be very bad and the Avalon staff knows how to work with him when he is having them. We were thankful that we found good care for him.

My mom had dementia and dad was her caregiver at home. When dad was diagnosed with cancer and they both needed care, we had no idea what we would do and how to keep them together. We toured Avalon for mom, and the lady that we met with explained that they could also care for dad. We could not have asked for a better situation. So grateful for Avalon.

While touring this facility I could not have felt more welcome by the administrative staff and caregivers. The residents seemed content and well taken care of. I was pleased to see that there were 2 separate buildings, each with their own specific level of care, activities, etc. When we are no longer capable of taking care of mom at home, we will be coming to Avalon.

They made cook to order meals for my mom. I have experienced other memory care facilities and most have staff that turnover quite often. It is great to see that the staff is so consistent and they truly love the residents they care for.

Avalon has been nothing but caring and compassionate in my experience. The staff has been nothing but kind and understanding. A nice and welcoming community feel that allows for socializing and comfort while providing the care that’s needed.

This is a very good facility. It is clean with a professional and friendly staff who cares for their patients. They are very good with communication. They always go over and above. I highly recommend them.

Avalon Memory Care exceeded any and all expectations, thanks to [name removed] and [name removed]. From the care, respect, and food the staff and all is beyond awesome. Not only is it a memory care facility but staff treats and includes you as family, with a homey environment. Best decision we made as a family to move facilities after having a horrible experience previously with [facility removed].

[name removed] was extremely helpful in identifying the optimal facility to place our Mom in during a very urgent and stressful time. I highly recommend using his services if you ever find yourself in a similar situation!

Even though he lived here at Avalon only a short time before passing away, my father was well taken care of. The staff is dedicated and kind. During his first few days, Dad was disoriented and scared at times. The staff anticipated this and gave him extra time and attention, sometimes just sitting in his room with him, watching TV or reading aloud to him. When they were briefly locked down for a positive Covid test, the staff made sure each resident got extra attention. One young staff member spent an HOUR in my dad's room, helping me get the new TV set up! My family and I were free to come any time and we were always welcome to participate in whatever activity was at hand. Dad was always clean and his room and bedding always fresh.

The facility was always clean with no smell of urine and the staff was always attentive and really truly cared for Mom, thanks again for everything.

My Dad was only there a few weeks. I moved him there to be closer to me to visit him more. Location and care were big on my list. Avalon fulfilled those priorities. We cannot comment on the activities because there was not an activities director at that time. I so felt comfortable with the staff taking care of my dad. The relationship between staff and the facility doctor was a plus. The staff, who was very caring, made me feel at home while I was visiting him.

My husband has been a resident at Avalon for a little over a year. We love the staff and appreciate how they go out of the way to communicate with me. It is so hard to have to place your loved one in care, but the staff has made a difficult process a little bit easier.

My sweet sister [name removed], was a resident at Avalon Keller for a little over 3 years. I visited almost daily and the staff treated not only [name removed], but myself as well, like family. The staff was quite attached to her and went out of their way to make her feel special. My family and I are so grateful for the wonderful care that she received.

I give the highest marks to all of Avalon's staff. We placed our beautiful, sweet mother at Avalon Garland following a bad experience at another care facility. Mom had extensive physical and cognitive issues when she arrived. The care at Avalon was superb. Kind, loving care. Clean facility. Activities and great music for residents. It was a difficult end of life situation for my Mom. The staff were attentive and loving. They really care and focus on what matters. Dignity, respect and great care. I cannot say enough about Avalon. Helped our family with a difficult time. Mom loved Avalon, as do I! I would be happy to discuss Avalon with anyone who has a loved one who is needing care.
