Admissions Nurse [name removed] was very knowledgeable and was very empathetic to the situation. She gave good advice and answered all our questions. Staff is very friendly and has good interaction with the residence. [name removed] is professional, caring, and very attentive. Does her job well! My mom is safe and comfortable. I believe Avalon has been a blessing for us.

The thing that separates Avalon is first of all is the design of the facility. It is completely open for all residents to interact with others. When there is entertainment all can participate. Facilities with other levels of function receive most the attention.

The patience they have. When I start to think she is going to drive me crazy, they come to the rescue and help my wife understand they are there to help.

I would give 5s to all of them. I was so glad to see Mom actually eating and enjoying the company. What we like the most about the community is the way the caregivers really care for the people. They are patient, compassionate, and REALLY care for them. They don't get nasty with them, they actually talk with them!
