Atria

For the most part things have gone well for our loved one at Mission Hills. It is a nice looking place, and the people are friendly. We have had a few issues here and there, but for the most part they've been very accommodating. We are still having an issue getting our loved one regular bathing assistance, but other than that we are very pleased with the place.

They did a good job. The only issue is that you can't get an Advil or Aspirin into your loved one with effort. The medications need to be worked. You can't do anything without a doctors order. It's a problem. It makes it real hard. I had to pay for a 6 month supply of medications that I did not order. It's not right. There is nobody skilled there. They are really friendly but not skilled enough. I think it's just a legal thing and not the Atria. It just causes a delay.

My mother has been in there for a couple of months and they have really gotten to know her and work with her well. They make sure that she is happy, and active, involved in the activities. There was once instance where my mothers bathroom was nasty and had not been adequately cleaned and that really upset me. Other than that instance everything has been very good with Atria Hacienda. Everyone there is great and very helpful.

We have had a very positive experience with Atria Longmeadow Place. They are very easy to work with, extremely nice people, beautiful facility, and they are always willing to help and do anything they can. It has been a very positive experience and I would recommend Atria Longmeadow Place.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The value is pretty good overall, and the community is very clean.

Went to the Open House on May 23rd. Easy to find. They have a café just inside the front door for guests and residents which is just lovely! Their chef served us fabulous appetizer snacks of lamp chops, shrimp cocktail, spring rolls and crab cakes. We were invited back for a meal which is very tempting! Big facility 150 residents and only a few available rooms. What struck me as odd was that all rooms are being renovated to include a kitchenette. Full size refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. So every room is "high end," and not something that my mom has any use for. Big closets and nice size bathrooms and rooms in general. They have created a cement walking path around the facility that, once they get it landscaped, will be lovely for a daily walk. Closed in courtyard for memory patients, smart. Gabs of activities, but Mom noted that there was only ONE activity off the premises--a bus trip to Roosevelt's home and another month it was Westbury Gardens I think. Where Mom is now, they take rides daily, so not getting out often would bother her. It's just a short walk to Larkfield Road for shopping. Everyone was very nice!

The facility is big and nice. The people that work there are friendly. It has nice little outdoor courtyards. It's homey. It has little knick-knack's around. It's very clean. The staff is very friendly.

The staff is very good and very committed. The only thing is that they don't always have enough activities. There is too much flat time between them. It has been a very good experience. My loved one is comfortable here. I would recommend the Atria Park of Ann Arbor to anyone looking for a nice community for their loved one. It is a good place with a friendly staff.

The folks at Atria North Point have done an excellent job accommodating our schedule well as well as all of our needs. One area where they could improve is with the activities. They have a few but they are mainly geared towards less active people.

Clean and beautiful setting with helpful staff and friendly residents. Resident needs to take advantage of what is offered, and there are many daily activities as well as delicious food.

The Atria is a good fit for my dad, he loves the meals wishes breakfast could be a little later than 8 am its hard for him to get going in the morning. If he needs extra assistance walking, dressing staff is right there for help. All employees are friendly and very helpful. We were very impressed with the cleaness of The Atria or as we call it the "Resort" What I will recommend to new residents coming in--ask about on site medical attention and what Atria's protocol is. Also ask for information about the physican name, address, phone and what insurance plans they are in.

They were great. They provided in-home care for my mother for the short period of time that she needed assisting. I would recommend the Atria Home Care-Long Island. It is a good agency. Very friendly staff.

Friendly faces, active social environment. Nice size bathrooms, every room has unique qualities. Seem well suited for those of the Catholic faith and I'm guessing wonderful culinary delights based on menu choices. Lovely dining area and courtyard, pet friendly, huge selection of daily activities bound to please everyone--such variety! Would've liked to see garden paths for strolling on their large acreage. Easy access and flow to building, all on one floor.

We had some initial glitches, during the transfer. Everything that we brought up, and it was just minor detail kind of stuff, they addressed right away. Everything is clean, and the staff is friendly. We are pretty happy with them so far.

This was one of the four places we looked at when looking into options. This was one of our top two, if we hadn't chosen the one we did, we would have chosen this. We tried the food both places, and it was a little bit better at the other community.

I am very happy to have my mother at Atria Valley Manor. My mom is doing very well there. She has been housebound and inactive for four years but she has gotten to be very active since being at Atria. She walks and gets around and really enjoys it there. There are a lot of fellow residents that she gets along with well. The food is great as well. Mom is very happy there.

They are doing a great job. It seems very clean in the common areas, and the staff has been approachable. We have had to ask for a little extra cleaning than they did on their own, in the personal areas. Their food was very good in the assisted living when I first tried it, and they said it's the same in all the areas. In the memory care section, I have seen a few meals, and they look good there too, and I have never heard the residents complain. We looked at five or six other places and felt that Atria was the best for assisted living. I am not sure that the assessment was as thorough as it could have been, we were assessed as assisted living, and within a day or two they knew that he needed memory care.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Atria Briarcliff Manor seemed like a nice place, overall. The staff that we met were friendly and helpful, and the facility itself seemed well maintained and clean.
