My sister and I were very impressed with Atria and the information provided by director.

Met with Exec. Dir. Great meeting and extensive tour - beautiful place, nice people.

Very nice place. I liked the low resident to aide ratio. Very nostalgic.

Nice people, busy place. Didn't care too much for apts, seems dated. Great food.

About two years old and fully occupied. Best room arrangement as they offer one bedroom plus a Study. Highest cost. One bedroom and a Study $4700/mo with a $650 fee for the extra person. Full meal plan. Great facility, good location with great views from upper floors.

Loved the one bedroom. Had lots of storage space. Two entrances to bathroom from bedroom and kitchen. Nice shower and room that can fit a big tv.

I visited this community and agree it is a really nice place.

I found Atria Place to a wonderful facility.

Very nice and upscale.Rooms had a small kitchen area.Facility had a media room, library and nice outdoor patio.Level of care provided determines monthly price.Will have to review closely as Atria may be too expensive.They will do an assessment on Mom and we may pusue that.This will provide info which would allow them to give an accurate fee estimate

Meet with the director, she was great. Very impressed with dining facility and how they handle the residents. Staff on all levels were friendly, the longevity of staff is impressive as well. I think mother would get along great with them. Remodeling is being done on 1st floor. The assisted living section of facility is nice. Floors were in the corners were not as clean as the other facilities I've visited but that may be due to the new carpet/remodeling/moving they are doing. Hallway on first floor seemed congested or more narrow. Second floor was much nicer. one bedroom apartment was nice. The size of the closet is important to mother. As far as the Memory Care Unit for future needs, I was not as impressed. The smell throughout was not pleasant. It reminded me of an old nursing home smell. I don't know that I would move her to that wing when the times comes.

I really liked Atria of Grapevine. Barbi was very friendly and thorough. It is so close to my home. I like that it has both assisted living and dementia care under one roof.

Lovely place; felt right at home; they don't have much in the way of available space at the moment and we may have to move fast in another direction.

Very nice. Nice landscaping Apt. small-especially the bathroom.Main concern is distance from apt. to dining area for MAR. Outdoor Parking - not close. Didn't try the food, but the chef gave us a pie to take home.

Have visited- this was quite close to shopping and grocery...had "Happy Hour" which was great idea..also no apt stove as I rememember

Newly renovated, nice. Courtyard is being redone to take out water features that have wrought-iron fencing around, too dangerous to the clientele apparently. 1 bedroom too compact for even one person, my opinion. Toured one that was occupied, so it was a bit hard to configure how I would be arranging stuff, but the bedroom would not accomodate 2 people -- a twin bed and very small dresser maxed this room out !! Something I found rather strange was that the dining area is on 2nd floor, just the opposite of every other place I've looked at. Not the worst. I must say this is in a very nice part of Sunnyvale, very close to a lovely park, many medical professional buildings just down the street, although a busy street, fairly quiet. Major shopping (Trader Joe's, about 6 blocks, Target probably about 10 blocks, my local yarn store 6 blocks, grocery shopping, same area). The gentleman kind of oohed and awwed that my husband is only going on 74 next month, which made me think that most of their people are probably in their 80's. One of the things that the gentleman brought out is the fact that they do client surveys regularly, employee surveys regularly, and their employees have worked there for years and years, not a lot of turnover with employees. I know this was a concern where my mom was, she'd just get used to one housekeeper/monitor, and then it would start all over with another one, and it can cause anxiety. So this was encouraging to see less turnover. Tour was excellent! Great man, super nice. And cookies to take home!
