Great place! My family member loves it there

lovely 10 acre campus well maintained 1 bedroom apt. 2nd floor with balcony plenty of closet space storage closet on balcony full kitchen complete with dishwasher supply your own washer & dryer staff clean apt. every other week change sheets and wash linens very competent staff very friendly and available to answer questions wonderful maintenance staff will help with everything folks who live here in independent retirement community are very warm and friendly am somewhat surprised with how many folks use walkers, scooters and canes delightful variety of activities and I continue to join more and more active activities movies every Fri., Sat., and Sun. evenings real movie theater seats and free popcorn cars and shuttle to take you to medical apps, shopping and day trips highly recommend Canyon Creek!!

I was extremely worried about placing my mom somewhere due to her Alzheimer’s but From the moment that I walked into Atria I felt welcome I was impressed with their staff and the longevity of a good percentage of their staff as well as the cleanliness and activities offered in the memory care unit. I take great relief and solace in the fact that my mom is being so well cared for the staff is very friendly and she is very happy there I really am so very grateful that we are able to place mom here I think God every day.

I moved from a Del Web 55+ community into this Atria multi level senior community. I am in a 2 bedroom Independent Living apartment with a 1 car garage. I could not be happier with my choice. As a disabled veteran with a service dog, the size is just right, as it allows me easy access to the entire community. There are 2 exercise classes each day that I take full advantage of. The 'Sip and paint' classes are perfect for me. I've not had a disappointing meal yet. The staff is the A+ side of this place for sure ... so friendly and helpful. My dog and I have enough space to walk around the community if we want, or hunker down and read a good book if we want. If you like being a small fish in a big pond, this might not be the place for you, but it is perfect for me, and I am glad I chose it.

Staff is calm, understanding, patient and flexible while caring for mom and others. They know how to get residents to meals or activities while caring for those with little memory. They invite mom all the time, they know how to coax her through singing and music activities. The nurse is helpful getting medications on a good regimen. The whole facility keeps you informed about community issues and they call me about mom's needs. It feels like I finally have a partner in caring for mom best.

We chose Atria over other places because of the staff and the facilities. Mom has been there about 2 months. She's happy , likes her apartment, and feels secure living alone for the first time. She likes the meals and the staff. When I've been there, everyone's been very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They have patience and understanding. Atria is rather expensive, but Mom is thriving and her health's improving, so it is becoming less expensive. If you're undecided, take a tour, meet the staff, ask questions. They're very open about everything.

The Atria at Marland place is an excellent place for assisted living. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend Atria.

My mother-in-law has been at Atria a month now. The staff told us in advance that it takes about a month for residents to adjust and adapt. Having come from 24/7 care to assisted living has been quite an adjustment for her--and for the staff!! Mother-in-law complains a lot but she LOVES the food!!

Lots of activities, nice people and nice accommodations. Staff is responsive to your needs. Only issue is that the ambassadors should really move around with the new folks and take them out and get them involved. I don't think our ambassador did a good job at that. My MIL has had to get out on her own and feels uncomfortable which I feel could be abated if her ambassador had been more attentive and not just for the first two or three days.

All staff is friendly and helpful.

My mom moved in a few months ago. She has been very happy with the staff, service, meals and her room. Anytime there has been an issue it has been fixed quickly. The staff wear nametags with the number of years they’ve been there on them. There is longevity of staff which is rare and a huge plus. It shows there is good management and care for employees. The reason we chose Atria Grapevine is because our local fire department recommended it to us. They said they knew where the best care was and would put their own moms at Atria Grapevine. Mom is currently at 0 care, meaning she does not need help yet, but she did want the 24 hour staff and security.

At first it took a few weeks to work out the kinks in the daily care schedule, but once worked out everything has been great. We (his children) are very happy with the care that my father is receiving. He has adjust so well thanks to the amazing and friendly staff. The food service/dining facilities are top notch. We do not worry at all about his safety or comfort.

I was very impressed with this facility in the beginning when I toured. It’s a very nice facility and they offered a really good deal on signing a contract. The food, apartment, and housekeeping are all great but there have been a few problems that I’m dealing with. The biggest issue that I have is with the management. I have been leaving messages with them for 2 or 3 weeks and I still have yet to receive a phone call back from them. I’m just really upset that they won’t call me. The other thing I didn’t like is the facility only has one driver to bring residents around town. This is a very large facility with a lot of people and the list of people needing a ride is very long. I feel like they should have more drivers. I would recommend this facility.

Everything is going great here. My mother and step-father love the place. The staff has been extremely helpful and my parents have no complaints. They’ve done a great job and they really enjoy the other residents and the people that work there. They came from out of town so they just think it was the perfect choice. They’ve been there for a couple of weeks so far and say the food is great and the portions are plentiful. They even provide enough food during lunch to save for dinner. They seem to have no trouble in keeping busy in whatever the facility has to offer so there are tons of activities. The cleanliness is good and the place looks great. This was the first place we visited and it just met all of the criteria we were looking for and I would recommend them.

I toured this community when I was initially trying to find a good fit for my friend. This place felt like a hotel to me and I don’t mean that in a negative way. It looks high-end and it just felt nice. Even though it feels high-end, though, you don’t see a lot of residents. I think they offer a tremendous amount of activities but when the people there are at a high level of care, they don’t have as much energy to do things. If someone is relatively healthy, this would be a good place for them. They couldn’t have been more gracious. It couldn’t have been a nicer place, it was very ritzy. However, I think it would be very expensive. The interaction between the resident and staff is very limited and I was told that the residents only get, on average, about 30 minutes of hands on time with the staff. They’re there if you need them, but I ultimately needed something more for my friend and wound up going with home care instead.

Atria Del Rey is a really good community. The place is clean, the meals are good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great activities director who maintains a full schedule of activities to keep the residents busy such as weekly outings, crafts, and games. My mother seems to be settling in nicely here. I would definitely recommend Atria to others.

Unlike most senior independent living places Atria does follow up on work orders, and/or complaints. The management team strives to listen and interact with residents. While no living experience is perfect Atria is above par. At present I would live no where else.

My father is well here in this community. So far it has been good move for him, and his needs. He loves it here, and I'am satisfied with this community. They have a good staff, and I know he is in good hands. They do a good job with the cleanliness around the facility. There are good activities offered, and good meals provided. All is well for my father with his move to this community, and I would recommend it.

The staff are friendly and attentive. The community is nice and comfortable. They offer tons of activities. The food was great. They offer meals such as lobster rolls and scallops. This is a larger community that has everything you could need. They have a nice open courtyard. This is an active community and it feels like you live in a condo. I would recommend this community.
