Atria

I am so glad that I moved into Atria Valley Manor before this pandemic. They are taking good care of us here...taking our temps daily, delivering 3 meals a day since their cafe is closed, doing patio fitness classes each a.m. I also chose this place because it is the closest to where my son and his family live...just a few blocks away...and I hoped to see him more often, but guests are not allowed unless they stop at the office to have their temps taken and answer health questions first, so he hasn’t come by. Atria Valley Manor has a Facebook page and many of their pictures posted are of me during their distancing events.

A very friendly staff. They have a family atmosphere. They do a good job . Staff is amazing. The rooms are spacious, nice layout. Kitchens have been updated. Food is okay, hard to tell with the quarantine, they have a limited menu.The small size help give it a more intimate feel then some other communities I looked at.

The food is outstanding, my dad loves it. The staff is doing their best to keep residents engaged with activities during the quarantine. Beautiful place, very clean. It has a nice pool and a couple of dining rooms. It does not feel like an assisted living facility, feels like a nice hotel.

I like many things about living here. My favorite thing is the staff. They are always pleasant, very friendly, and concerned about our well being.

We moved here when I couldn't drive and [name removed] had some health problems it was a hard move but the staffs ever so friendly and we've met so many people at Happy Hour and the many activities the fitness center and pool are great the dining room staff always friendly and helpful food very good. We miss our large home but this is our home and we are happy here.

During our move to Atria the entire staff was so helpful with all questions we had. Staff is so friendly. After we got moved in the Covid-19 started and the staff have completely kept the residents half and delivered our meal to our rooms and have been so cheerful through the whole situation. We love it here.

Though we weren't able to go on an in-person tour due to COVID19 prevention measures, [Name removed] very kindly gave us a virtual tour, and the place is beautiful. I think Mom is going to be very happy here!

I am an X Combat Veteran, I could have went to Hynes Hospital which is all free for me. I am at Atria because my son and I both love this place. People here treat you like adults not like kids. How could you not be happy when you have wonderful people around you. I have few good friends who I enjoy playing games and going on outings with.

I love Atria! Being a nurse myself, Atria gives more than asked for. My husband lived in LG and was very well taken care of. All the staff still remembers him and his jokes. Atria has an incredible staff. They have good leadership, the care and food are great. The community is clean and follows the government's rules. All the staff is for the residents.

When my daughter was looking for places for me and my husband, I was very scared and used to cry. When I moved to Atria I just love this place. The staff is very caring, friendly. They do a great job taking care of my husband who lives in Life Guidance Atria was the best pick for us. I love it, I am not scared either or cry anymore.

This is my HOME now! I can't think of any better place to go. Atria took me and my wife. [Names removed] teaches me a lot, because we grow older we forget. I love the people here and enjoy the love they have for me. It's a MIRACLE that I am here.

We moved my mom to Atria Oakridge in September 2016. She could no longer live by herself and while she didn't want to leave her home state and her church family and friends she knew she needed to be closer to us. For the first couple of months Mom really missed her church and her friends from home (and still does) but the friendliness of the Atria staff and the other residents soon won her over! She was very impressed with how quickly everyone learned and greeted her by name and being very social loves all the activities that the Atria provides on a daily basis. Some of her favorite activities are when [name removed] takes her and the other residents to Trader Joes and when Refuge Church comes in and does a monthly hymn sing! If you ever visit the Atria, Mom would be to first to show you her apartment with screened in porch and would tell you exactly what her favorite meals are as well as dessert- cappuccino crunch ice cream! [Name removed] and all the staff are to be commended for making such a welcoming, caring place for seniors to live! We feel blessed to have Mom near by in such a nice, safe place!

Atria is a top notch facility. Very homey and the staff is remarkable. Food is delicious, facility clean, everyone is friendly and caring. Great place for Mom.

My mom is enjoying living at Atria Collwood. The staff is very friendly, caring, and competent. The facility is well kept, clean, and updated. There are generous and comfortable community areas for friendly conversations, games, puzzles, and special events. Mom has already made several good friends after only three weeks. Thank you Atria Collwood for helping to make Mom's transition as smooth as possible! I have happily recommended Atria Collwood to others.

Great facility. Friendly staff. Comfortable atmosphere with many activities for the residents. The facility tour was very informative and not rushed. All my questions and c0ncerns were addressed. The dining facility and menu was impressive. I enjoyed the tour and the facility is great.

We. Absolutely fell in love with this amazing facility. The entire staff was kind and very informative. The staff was also extremely sweet and helpful to the residence. The smell of fresh baked cookies and freshly made mini pies to take our mom was an awesome touch. We called back after our other tours and was invited for lunch in their beautiful restaurant. The staff again treated us incredibly well. We signed our lease and our mom will be moving in soon.

The staff at Atria really went the extra mile to make Miss [name removed] at her new home! Truly affordable and extremely comfortable setting - and the food is delicious!

Great Tour! [Name removed] spent over 2 hours with us. She explained everything fully and answered our questions. Other staff we met were also very friendly.

[Name removed] answered so many questions that we had regarding moving a parent into independent living. I loved the facility especially that it also had an assisted living area. I love that there is a walking club and a nearby lake and that seniors go to Harris Teeter every Thursday! The community there seems to be one where my father would fit. We are happy to have this location as an option in our future plans if we do need to move Dad into independent living.
