Moved my mom from Independent living to Assisted Living at the Atria Carrollton in the midst of Covid. The staff here was phenomenal in making this difficult move as smooth as possible. Mom had been so against moving - losing the friends she'd made, losing "independence", etc. She is SO HAPPY here. She loves her beautiful new apartment. She loves the people here. She LOVES the food. I haven't seen her this excited in a long time. I wish I had forced the move a long time ago.

I chose this community because it seemed to be the most suitable for my husband and it was also the nicest. The room sizes are wonderful and spacious. The food is very good. Our favorite part about the community is the friendliness of the staff and it is very welcoming. They also offer a lot of activities. They have a very fun Marti Gras partry. I certainly would recommend Atria Kew Gardens.

My mom lived at the Atria Carrollton for 7 years. She was first in Assisted Living where she received lots of attention and had wonderful friends. As her memory failed, we moved her to Life Guidance. The staff was so caring and had many years of experience. The care she received was top notch. When she was in her last days, the entire Atria staff visited her with their good byes. I know she felt loved and her family appreciated all the attention she received. Atria Carrollton was the right place for my mother.

It is a very friendly place and a very casual place. It is an all encompassing friendly, and warm atmosphere. I chose this community because it was most home like and the others were more institutional. It was also near her home so her friends could come and visit her. I would recommend this community to other families.

The staff are very good. I think they are very professional and their nursing staff is very good. I get updates on a regularly basis. I would highly recommend this Atria. This particular Atria is extremely well run. I particularly like the management on the nursing side, they are outstanding. Initially , the food was the good. I chose this community because I felt initially,from the way they presented the facility, from the nursing standpoint, they were best. They had the best answers of how they track response time. I was optimistic in the beginning and they have exceeded my exceptions.

I thought the Community Sales Director, [name removed] was very polite and attentive. She listened to what I think My Mother would like and addressed all my questions. The Atria Park is a very pristine and beautiful place. I appreciate the gardening, activities and all the amenities available and the apartments have a great layout. Mostly I like the outdoor areas. My mom, [name removed] likes to walk a lot. The grapevines and the views are great features. The other staff that I met were also friendly and helpful. I also liked the many different levels of care in the assisted living appartments.

We moved our mother to Atria Carrollton in July 2020 from another assisted living facility. [name removed] went above and beyond to make sure there was little stress on mom and the rest of our family as mom made the transitioned. Moving during COVID-19 is tricky, but [name removed] made sure it was smooth and she took care of everything, always keeping safety first for mom as well as others. Since being there, mom has been well taken care of and she is enjoying her new residence! Everyone at Atria Carrollton is amazing and so caring. We know that they have mom's best interest in mind and they make sure she is safe and secure. I can rely on Atria to give my mom the best care and that gives me peace of mind.

We chose this community because of the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, it was run smoothly. The concern the staff had and making sure she felt comfortable and had the coverage she needed was our favorite part. The food was healthy and nutritious and they paid extra attention to the needs of each individuals.

The community is expensive. My mom wants to stay in her room and be left alone. They do have poker and happy hour a few times a month. They also run buses to local stores and restaurants. The community had a little while between chefs. The servers were cooking the food during this time.

I feel like they are family. They do window visits during COVID. They had a wonderful wellness center. We loved the care physician, he is so attentive. They provide WONDERFUL activities. They played games, make jewelry, and also have entertainers. We chose this facility because it was beautiful. It doesn't look like a facility, It is very inviting, it felt like you were walking into a nice hotel. They were also very attentive to the family members.

I have been a “happy resident” for 3 years here. I find the activities, lecturers, entertainment, etc. most satisfying and stimulating. I can’t say enough about the superb staff. They are just wonderful! Come join us and see for yourself what we enjoy!

Roslyn Atria has been outstanding during the Covid pandemic. The staff, especially [names removed], have not only kept the residents safe and healthy but have managed to keep the residents engaged and connected through daily traveling theme refreshment parties and an overall united sense of community. My mother is very happy there and loves participating in all the activities that are once again offered all throughout the day. She particularly loves the live entertainment, the exercise classes, the movies and meeting with her friends on the beautiful veranda. [name removed] does a great job of not only organizing the activities but making sure the community as a whole comes together to participate and enjoy! Her smile and enthusiasm are contagious! We are very grateful to have mom living there.

My father has been a resident at Atria Carrollton for over a year. His experience has been a very positive one. He moved in initially as a resident within Assisted Living and has moved on to Life Guidance. The staff has been very attentive to his needs; supportive and loving, not only to my father but to me as I have had to make hard decisions about his care. The lead nurse has been outstanding in working with me in coordinating and communicating information to my father's physicians when needed. The head of Life Guidance is an excellent communicator and worked well with my Dad as he made the transition to a new room and community. The support staff is friendly as well and always a pleasure to see. I am very thankful that Dad and I made the decision to move him there. It has been a blessing.

We have loved our experience at Atria Carrollton; it was the right move for our family! We moved my mother-in-law to Atria in October, then to Memory Care in March. We moved my parents to Atria in December. The staff is caring, attentive, upbeat, and good at their job. The coordination and communication with our parents' visiting doctor with us and the staff was better than I could have hoped and helped cut down on so many doctor visits. Things that used to become serious issues and require multiple doctor visits (like a scrape on fragile skin) are watched and managed by the staff so they don't become a big deal! Memory Care is able to provide our Mom gentle guidance to help her function with dignity and be as independent as her mind allows. I was truly excited to get all of our parents in one place, having access to the care they needed, with a staff and in a place I enjoyed visiting! I was surprised how big of a weight I felt had been lifted!

After researching and visiting several independent living facilities, I chose to live at Atria Willow Glen. I was concerned that it might be a difficult transition because I had lived in my home for 44 years. To my delight, Atria Willow Glen felt like home immediately. All of the staff are kind and patient with my many questions. They recommended a company that would pack and move the items I wanted to bring with me from my house and they recommended a person to do an estate sale. My Atria Willow Glen apartment feels brand new. Everything is clean and fresh. The meals are delicious with great items to choose from. Even in this time of coronavirus there are interesting one on one or small group activities outdoors, with everyone wearing masks. I have enjoyed the Tea and Tidings Group of three. We wear masks and maintain social distancing as we discuss and explore positive new events, inventions and trends. I have also enjoyed the small exercise group. Again we keep social distancing and wear masks. Even though I am in a wheelchair the exercises are great. Each person can accommodate their own physical conditions. Atria Willow Glen is dedicated to keeping us all safe from the coronavirus. Everyone wears masks outside of their apartments. Staff and residents’ temperatures are taken twice a day. I particularly enjoy paths through the beautiful grounds. Trees, landscaping, a fountain, and a Koi pond with a small waterfall contribute to make the grounds feel like a beautiful park. I could not be happier living here at Atria Willow Glen. I feel safe, well cared for and very happy.

On behalf of my entire family I would like to thank all staff members of Atria on Roslyn Harbor. During this very difficult time the staff was professional, attentive and fun. While it was difficult for residents and their families during the period of quarantine we knew that our mom was being very well cared for which gave us a sense of security and confidence. Thank to all these dedicated workers!

Thankful to the Atria Maplewood team for the great care they provide. I recommend them if you're looking for an assisted living community for a loved one.

My Dad has been at Atria Maplewood Place for almost five years. He receives the best care that I can imagine! The staff is caring and completely dedicated to all the residents there. I can sleep better at night knowing that he is safe and well cared for.

I enjoy living here at Atria Maplewood Place. I have been here for 4 years. At the moment, there are protocols that are in place for the quarantine that are difficult to accept, but I understand that it has to be done for the safety of the residents and they’re doing a great job. [Name removed] the driver is a super guy and goes out of his way to help people. For example, he is only a driver, but if residents need help carrying their groceries or any other items, he does it for us. Give him a raise!

I have lived here for 6 years, the residents and staff are the friendliest around. Everyone is kind and helpful. Food is great with many choices and lots of fun activities and especially great entertainment. It has been a great place for me to make new friends after loosing my husband.
