I'd say just to schedule a tour of the facility and meet members of the staff in person to get a good feel for the place. The facility was well maintained, and the staff displayed a nice combination of...

I liked The Palazzo, but they asked for a whole lot more money financial information during the touring process than other places I looked at.

The staff at this community are loving, helpful and wonderful. They offer daily activities and my husband likes the morning exercise class. They take walks outside on nice days. The head nurse is awesome and takes such good care of him. The food is good and the community is well maintained. I have already recommended this community.

At Brookdale Christown the best thing is the apartment is spacious and bright. The living quarters are an incredible value. It is very very nice place. That is what I'm most happy with. The price per square foot is really good. The niceness of the apartment and the grounds are a real selling point. The wait times at dinner could use improving. You have to wait quite a while. Overall I am really really happy with the place. Things have really worked out well.

Chris Ridge is where we took my mother, and it's excellent. It's very clean, wild amenities, very friendly staff. For the dollar, I looked at several places, and Chris Ridge was the nicest one we found for the money. There's a lot of construction, makes access a little difficult, not under their control. Accessibilty is very good, property layout is excellent. My grandmother is very independent, and used to go to whatever activities she wants to go to, and she loves the place. They provide transportation to and from shopping, doctors. They provide bingo and a lot of activities that seniors enjoy. They've been very responsive to us; we've had an excellent experience there, really. We've enjoyed the friendliness of the place. All of the people we deal with over there are very nice, helpful, and friendly.

My husband and I love our Chris Ridge Senior Living. Staffs are super nice, friendly and helpful. As we aged, any minor changes normally create major impact to us on psychological and physical routines. Moving from your own spacious home to a small apartment is stressful enough event, but add to that stress is to learn your new environments plus dealing with all sorts of new do's, don'ts and routines. It only has been one week since we moved in and we are already making headways to adjust to our new routines and environment. We only have all of Chris Ridge staffs to thank for our smooth transitions. We have no regrets and come to a firm conclusion that we have made the right decision to chose Chris Ridge as our new and last home for us.

This was a very nice facility and there were upgrades going on that showed improvement in the overall quality of the hallways and living conditions. I really like the location as it is easily accessible via the freeway and across from some good restaurants. The only negative initially is the lack of visitor parking or any available parking at all. All in all a nice facility and they are the only place willing to do a care assessment in advance of signing up.

The move in for my 55 year-old son who is a stroke victim was easy. There is an elevator right by the front door that can be utilized for taking up room furnishings. The maintenance department is timely when handling a few electrical questions we had. Noisy a/c was replaced same day. The nursing staff and nurses aids are very accommodating, and if they are not able to come immediately, they are apologizing as they come in the room. There is a snack room on the second floor where my son is that has a refrigerator with milk and sandwiches and cereal made available in case of hunger between meal times. Each breakfast, lunch and dinner has two entrée choices. All dining tables have a supplementary menu on them that can be utilized for ordering food that is different from what is being served, however, the service for those items can be slow. The dining room is only open for about two hours for each meal. We wish it was more hours. Tables are assigned but you can change.

It's a happy place that I enjoy visiting. I feel good about my dad being there. The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for mom & dad, and the one bedroom is perfect for dad now.

When I gave notice to move, 30 days is required. I gave more than a 30 day notice and was charged extra: $[removed]. I gave notice on [date removed] and moved out [date removed]. Was charged from [date removed] for the $[removed]. I was penalized for giving too much notice. I felt that was not a professional business practice. I had even contacted the business office that I wanted to give notice on [date removed], but was advised that I should just go with the original notice to vacate date of [date removed]. I was pretty disappointed because I needed that money a lot worse than the Palazzo. I felt like most of the staff was conscientious and efficient. Sometimes [name removed] would have to wait for help though. Food was good, sometimes not. He loved the music activities and the church services and Bible studies and the chair yoga, and the activities director, Marina. Overall good place, but had to move Gary because of the price increase per month, $[removed]. Just priced us out after a year.

My mother loves the activities their but complains about the food. The main reason we chose The Palazzo over other places we looked at was because of the large Jewish population. I would improve this facility as long as they improve the food quality. They keep promising that things are going to improve soon.

It is difficult to anticipate the changes that your loved one will experience. There is a time that it takes for them to meet people and feel like this is a place they belong. The food is bland and soft, but overall a safe place for them to be looked after! Would recommend.

It was tough in the first 90 days for my in-laws because of COVID. They had to quarantine and the food was not up to standards because it was delivery only. Now that things are getting back to normal, they should be feeling better and better about Palazzo.

We're very pleased with them overall. The staff are all very nice. They seem to be short-handed because sometimes they don't follow through with things, or when my loved one pushes her call button, they don't show up immediately. Usually it has to do with taking her dog out, which she pays an extra fee for, so it's okay. But had she fallen or something of that nature, that would be an issue. Also, service in the dinging room is lacking. At times, they don't get the right meals to the right resident. Some of the food is really good; some is really bad. They've admitted they've had some problems with staffing due to the pandemic, so hopefully that will even out over time. Again, the staff are really nice. It's just follow-though that's lacking. The grounds are well kept up. The place is clean and really nice. Overall we're pleased, and they're definitely trying. It's kind of pricey. If the follow-through and all the extras she pays for were a little better, the value would be better. But her apartment is really nice, and overall she's content there.

Our tour at Capistrano Senior Living was fine. The staff were very helpful and very good. We chose a different facility with a lighter and brighter atmosphere, where we saw more residents up and about in the common spaces. At Capistrano, it was just really quiet, and there didn't seem to be a lot going on.

The best part about The Palazzo is the staff. I think the location is suitable for the people who are staying there. It's close to a lot of things that are of interest to those in the community. Overall, it's a really good value. Really the only issue is my loved one tells me the food is pretty bland.
