Kind, friendly and vigilant service to loved ones and extended family. Food Service: quality of food very good, but often only warm by time arrives at table side. The attentiveness of employees is excellent; they are compassionate folk!

The staff is very helpful to both patients and their families. They are cheerful and accommodating at all times. The facility is new and is being well kept and clean. The care partners as well as the director and office staff and kitchen staff have gone out of their way to make me comfortable about having placed my loved one in this facility.

I have been very happy with the care my dad has received. He’s been there for 2 years and has stayed very healthy considering his advanced age (97+) and pre-existing health issues. He really enjoys the activities and the staff really knows him well. I always feel like they genuinely care about him. Artis is not perfect – nowhere is – but they always respond to concerns and I feel they are true partners.

Kind, caring, supportive staff. A great place!

I am totally delighted with the care by Artis of my wife. She has dementia and I tried a number of places, whose care was badly lacking, before bringing her to Artis. It was my best decision. She is happy and content.

We are grateful to have found Artis through A Place For Mom for our mother, (my mother-in-law). Artis staff is superb. Caring, professional and truly loving and kind. The place is new and fresh and designed lovely and simply. The food is good. The garden is sweet. And fun with old music, fresh fruits and juices and a basketball hoop! And the residents seem to be happy and engaged, in their activities, and with the other residents. We are very happy w Artis. And finally can breathe a little, that our mother (in-law) is safe and in good hands with the great staff at Artis.

Artis is a wonderful community. For those affected with Alzheimer’s disease. The residents are able to enjoy their life in a caring and free environment. All employees are very caring/ loving & know each residents --- they spend time talking, walking and getting then involved in activities family members can be sure their loved one is being well take care of and don’t need to bothered everyday – there is no place like this! Definitely, --- nursing atmosphere.

I wanted to take a moment and write a letter to thanks, for the care that has been given to my father. I have been in search of a facility that met all my needs and concerns. I am the caretaker and the voice of my father, and feel I owe him his dignity. He is the man that raised me, and dedicated his life to his family. As a marine and U.S. Marshall, he was very conscience of everyone’s, rights and privileges. So, I had to make sure that was still relevant even with his illness. I had the misfortune of another facility, which, to me was not living up to the job I entrusted to them. I was taking all my time overseeing, correcting, arguing and spending all my time and money there without any benefit of care. I was desperate to find someone who would care for him the way I did. I’m so glad I came across Artis, what a blessing. I don’t have sleepless nights, wondering how they are treating my father. I don’t have to go every day to make sure, they are taking care of him, I feel confident that his best interest is of the utmost priority. I am always greeted with an update on my father’s daily activities. So now I go just to visit, not inspect, but to enjoy being with my dad. The staff has been good to my whole family. As a result, I, can have more quality time with my children knowing Artis is in charge of taking care of my father. I am so grateful for their understanding of his illness. It has been comforting to know the staff has the capability in dealing with this horrible disease. It takes a community to coup with handle this kind of situation, so to me I found a community that helped me, my family and my father. Thanks a million for this amazing community to let me feel I am not alone, and the decision to have my father live here is not in vain. I have come across people who I can trust and admire. Thank you for living up to the high standards I set for you.

I am very pleased with the progress my father has started to show here. His mobility has improved, he is eating well and he is getting out of his apt more. He likes going outside and being a part of the activities. We like that it is one level, brand new and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even my mom is seeing the difference in my dad since he has moved here. She enjoys coming to visit with him.

I can not say enough good things about Artis Senior Living of Reading they are really great and I can see the difference in my dad. He is so happy here now. They keep him busy and they treat him like he is at home. The staff is amazing. They are keeping him busy with activities, all day long, he can go for walks on his own as there is a secured walking path to walk around. And I feel that he is so safe here! They have a great Resident doctor program so we don't have to take my dad out for appoints I would recommend Artis Senior Living of Reading to everyone.

This was the hardest decision my family has had to make, but we couldn’t think of anywhere else we would want our dad besides Artis! They’re amazing from the first time we walked in and took a tour to moving our dad in they’ve been with us guiding us every step of the way. Everyone is so compassionate and care not only about our dad but us too! They check in on my mom to make sure she’s transitioning too! Words cannot begin to describe how thankful we are for Artis! They do what they say, they tailor a schedule exactly like my dad had at home and we love it! The activities are awesome they really took the time to get to know my dad and what he likes and create activities to what he likes! We looked at so many places but when we walked into Artis we knew that was it! We saw how clean it was, the residents all looked great and happy, the staff actually were interacting with the residents everyone knew everyone and you could see and feel that they cared! If you’re reading this review I wouldn’t look any further you’ve found it….Artis! There is nothing better out there, they’re simply the best in everything they do! Thank you Artis for taking such great care of my dad and taking special care of my family too!

Very nice facility. It seemed very cozy, and very comfortable. Not a very big place but I got the impression that was one of its strengths as they were able to devote more time and attention to their occupants.

I has a positive experience when coming for a tour. I liked what I saw too but it was not a fitting environment for my loved one. I did learn a lot from each one of my tours.

This is a beautiful facility. It was very clean, safe, and well organized. The rooms are fairly small, but have everything necessary. I'm not sure our mother will be thrilled about the community shower situation, but I think she would adapt. It seem much thought has been put into making sure the residents feel right at home when living at Artis. Very impressive facility.

Artis Senior Living is a top notch concept for assisted living. They are professional, caring and empathetic to residents as well as immediate families. Since my mother has started her new journey at Artis, she is a different person. I have my mom back again! Thanks Artis. We really appreciate the work you do for seniors. Definitely the BEST!!

Brand new, beautiful facility. Specializing in memory care.

It is going very well for my mother at Artis Senior Living, it is a very nice place. In this period of adjustment, I am happy with the fact that my mother is starting to meet new people and find her place in the facility. The staff is very kind and attentive to my mother's needs. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Walking into Artis is like walking into your house and just being one of the family. The staff all go the extra mile to make people feel they can be themselves, they all have something to contribute and they motivate and challenge the residents to be the best they can be. The activities are very interactive and constant. A warm and welcoming environment anyone would want to be a part of.

So far everything is working out pretty well since my husbands move to this community. They are providing him with good care, and I'am satisfied. This is a pleasant community with an outstanding staff. They are caring for him, and his needs very well. He enjoys the activities they have available. The meals are nice, he says the food is good. This community has worked out very well for us, and I would recommend it.

The staff is really good and they are very responsive and very professional. Mom never complained about the food that they served. The community is clean and neat. The community is new and is very nice.
