Outside grounds great and very nice staff

I went Monday 10/09/17 to meet with [Removed] and got a tour of the facility to see if would be a good fit for my mother. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the well manicured grounds, upbeat atmosphere, the activities and the facility. The staff was very friendly, professional and in tune to the residents. The facility has rehab on site which is a major plus for my mother's needs. While it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of some of the newer facilities, it has what is important for the residents to be happy, safe and confortable. The suites are updated and clean. The residents are happy and are kept occupied. [Removed]was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. they are a pet friendly facility which is also a plus. I like the fact that its a smaller facility and communication between my family and staff should be easier. The all-inclusive price and the fact that they deal directly with my mothers Long Term Care insurance is also a plus.

We are happy with the care from this community. The staff is caring and caring, but sometimes seems to be understaffed. The menu is very good, They offer a nice menu and the activities are offered for the residents who are able to participate with the other residents.t. We would recommend this community for good care. They had what we were looking for.

I placed [Removed]. In Rosewood two years ago -Jones Manor at that time -[Removed] is handicapped -does not speak - as a result of a stroke at age 50 - six years ago - as well as being bi-polar and she is very well cared for at Rosewood. The biggest thing that is important to me is the staff . Everyone has always been very kind to her and she is pretty carefully watched which is necessary. Her medications are carefully administered. I am always kept informed about all of her needs. An aide is always available to go with me when I take her out to doctor visits, etc. She is given assistance to call me in the evenings. She gets the bus out to movies, shopping, lunch etc. which is very important to her. I am very pleased to have her there.

This is a smaller community compared to the other we looked at, but my wife is doing well since her move here. I like it, it isn't too fancy, and its affordable. I feel the staff are very kind, genuine people. They really care about their residents, and even knows all of them by their first name. They have been very helpful, and accommodating to my family. I do feel comfortable with her move to this community, it has provided me a with a peace of mind knowing she is in good hands. This is a great community, and I would recommend it.

I am very pleased with the care my husband is receiving at this community. He has improved since moving into Sutton Gardens. The staff are patient. This is a smaller community so he receives more personal care. The food is good and the meals are sufficient. The community is clean and there is a good mixture of residents. I am comfortable with him living here and I would recommend this community.

My dad is great since becoming a resident. It is a smaller community that is more suitable for his dementia. It is the perfect place for my dad. He has no complaints about the meals and activities. The staff communicate well with me and when I visit weekly, they are more than willing and open to my questions. I absolutely would recommend this place.

I was very happy the way the staff handle themselves in every way. The first talks was about how they can care for my aunt not about money. They handled themselves in that manner right to the end. We settled the final bill in a very friendly, fair and honest way. If I need a home again I will go there. Thank you Sutton Gardens

A good community for my father. He is taken care of by a great staff who go above and beyond in the care he needs. The activities are great for him to stay active. He is eating the food he is offered. This is a good community. I would recommend this community for great care for loved ones.

We could not be happier with the care the staff at Rosewood has provided for my mother, they are helpful and caring. The facility is always well maintained. They keep her busy with activities and that makes me feel we made the right choice.

GREAT SMALL ENVIRONMENT WITH CARING STAFF

Great Place to secure a caring environment for your love one. I have nothing but kind word to express to every staff member.

So far so good....the staff couldn't be nicer....especially Elise.....my Aunt seems to be happy.....the cottage is homey....thank you to Jean from A Place For Mom for helping us to place her there!!!

Nothing but GREAT things to say about Birchwood Suites. The place is homey, the staff are so helpful and friendly, the food is very good and the price is reasonable. We looked around at a lot of places before we found this one, thanks to A Place For Mom who helped us find Birchwood Suites!!! Aunt Pat seems very happy there and that is what matters most!

Birchwood Suites is a nice, friendly place. They are taking very good care of my mother. She participates in all of the activities, she loves them.

Where do I start this place is a blessing from Heaven! I met with the administrator Jennifer who was very personable and attentive I did not feel rushed during the tour as the conversation went on I can see she cares! When dealing with the staff after lunch I noted that they were also very pleasant. My uncle will be moving there and so far I'm pleased though the process. Jennifer received many calls from me being I'm a nervous wreck and she has been pleasant and taken my calls and texts through the process so far.

I don't leave reviews often, but have to about this place. My aunt was in a well known asset living facility, it was beautiful and seemed perfect. After a time, I noticed she was no longer walking, they had her in a wheelchair, and her temper became horrible. She started showing signs of bruising and spent one day a week in the hospital for falling down. They could no longer deal with her and had her sent to a psychiatric center. Sutton Gardens evaluated her and we're the ONLY assisted living facility to accept her. She was not easy on them in the beginning and I give everyone there credit for their patience and caring with her. Within 3 months she was walking with a walker, she is smiling and treating everyone nicely. I cannot say enough about the staff. They transformed her back to the person she was before. I can't thank them enough, they worked a miracle with her.

My Dad lives there. Great care with staff who can talk to and care about him. I feel very comfortable with him being there. There is an LPN there and they have constant activities !
