The administrative staff has been very helpful and supportive. The staff pay special care to my sister and go beyond what. I expected, such as clipping her hair and making sure her clothes are returned to her. She laughs and jokes with staff. The food must be good because she has gained weight. She says she likes the food. There is a game time daily after lunch when residents can play Jenga or work on a puzzle or color. My sister gets her nails polished when she asks. I live in SC and travel to visit my sister every three months and visit two days. I can't find the words to express how fortunate we were to find Sutton Gardens

The move to Sutton Gardens for my brother who was recovering from a stroke was made very easy with the help of [name removed]. He is happy there and appreciates all that the staff does for him. Having the outdoor area is a plus.

It's a basic facility. Staff are helpful if needed, it is mostly clean, and each person gets table mates for meals. The price is very reasonable for someone with dementia. If your parent is still active and wants activities this is not the place for you. If your parent is not active or pretty far on the dementia path, this place meets the needs of knowing someone is there to help with basic functions and to look after your parent without the ridiculous price or feel of a nursing home

They include comprehensive pricing and have all specialties or medical care visiting the sites on a monthly basis. I would recommend if it fits the budget.

My mother-in-law has been living in Rosewood On The Sound for over six months. We are very happy and she is thriving. The staff is always welcoming and the facility is always spotless! She shares a room which is comfortable and suits her needs. The activities are appropriate for the season and my mother-in-law fully enjoys every activity when they are provided.

This facility is small but provides great care. I actually like that it is one floor. The residents there yes they need extra help but that’s what they are there for. Overall the facility meets my mom needs. The management and staff are excellent for what they do.

They are extremely accommodating not only to the residents, but to the families. Very heartwarming Rooms in memory care are very nice! Very well kept, when my mother needed the hospice bed. They definitely made the room without anyone feeling cramped or uncomfortable.

The staff is very friendly and caring. They make sure that all of the residents are clean and properly taken cared of. They make sure that they eat, their clothes are clean. I like that you can come whenever you want without notifying them and the facility is always clean and something is always going on to keep the residents engaged in different activities including exercising

We chose Birchwood Suites because they had the memory care unit as my MILs dementia and behavioral issues got her kicked out of her previous facility. But it seems that the drs at Birchwood got her medication figured out and she is doing so well she doesn't need to be in the memory unit anymore The staff is amazing and they take great care of my mother in law.

Rosewood on the Sound is located in Bayville Ny. A transportation service for an affordable fee picked up my aunt, accompanied by a friendly staff member making the transfer a pleasant one. Upon arrival staff were welcoming and friendly and assisted my aunt in setting up her room. The Location is lovely overlooking the sound and staff made my aunts transition to a new environment an easy one.

A place to say home is my home and the care giving is just the way to say. This is my home and I can be taken care of in my home. I. have chosen with the care that is provided by the entire staff and all residents that live here With the attention given to ensure that the best a living arrangement is for the residents to feel like they are at home.

The head RN and staff are all wonderful. Hope below will tell you how families love Sutton. Sutton started out as assisted living not full care. But the original families that were there were all very happy with the care their aging parents received. So when Sutton couldn't care for the parents a anymore, the families begged the facility to expand to full care. The facility is all 1 floor, so no stairs. Has a very nice patio too. MD, APN OT, PT are all available if needed I believe they have hairdressers come as well. My mother was not eating or drinking when she got there. We thought she was end stage. But the staff got her to be alive again So every day is a blessed day.

Went on a tour about 3 months ago , and the administrator was amazing. She was very informative and the staff was kind. I moved my father in and have had no troubles. My father loves it, and my family that visits often loves it. We can’t wait for the summer and all the parties going on. Definitely wills Recommend to others.

What we like most about the Birchwood Suites is that they take care of the patient in house and we don't receive phone calls that they can't give the patient the care that they need (that happened at the last facility she was placed at). Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend them to other families!

My family placed my uncle in this facility going on 1 year in April. I have not had any issues with the staff as of yet. My family were notified each time anything changed with his care. I would continue to refer this facility to people that i know.

There is no complaints about the food. We picked this community, because it is very close to my father, and very affordable. The staff is very friendly and help to take care of my loved one. I would recommend to other families.

My dad has been at Birchwood for over 2 years and I am very happy with the care he receives. The staff is wonderful and take the time to develop relationships with the residents. They bring in entertainment for the residents. It’s like a family. So happy we selected Birchwood for my dad.

Birchwood Suites is a lovely warm caring assisted living community. Its clean, comfortable, well-furnished and great food with caring staff. They have an Enhanced License so your loved can age in place. Their pricing is fair, and they don't charge for everything separately. It's one price. I have my relative there and I am VERY HAPPY!!! This would be the best decision to place your loved one in this community. You can feel confident in the care that your loved one will receive. This is a beautiful and bright community. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one is doing so much better after being in the community. The staff communication with the family is very good. There are three meals a day served and snacks provided to the residents. The family is able to bring in snacks as well, and the staff will give these to your loved one. My loved one has made friends since being in the community, and is happy here. There are activities available for the residents to engage with. The community provides bathing and hygiene assistance to the residents

The staff is absolutely amazing, they really take such great care of their residents and listen to the family. My father is losing his sight and they had a conference with their employees and letting them know how to handle that. I feel that he is getting so much better here than his last facility. It is smaller and it is privately owned which I really like. It is all on one floor and very easy for him to get around in his wheelchair. The transition was sop smooth and the staff were so helpful and accomdaioting. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We are very happy with our experience at Rosewood on the Sound.
