My dad and I were impressed with the Arbors as soon as we came in the door for the first time. He’s now living there and tells me often and nice it is to see the owner, [name removed]. I strongly recommend this place!

My mother had a brief stay at The Arbors at Bohemia and everything at this facility was great. It was a great experience for her here at this facility. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The facility is very warm and inviting, like home. The staff is always ready to help and partake in activities. When my Mother is out she says she can't wait to go "home " which is a comforting thing for me to hear.

So far, so good. There has been no issues. It's been good communication with the staff, and they're doing a good job with my mom. I would recommend to other families.

We have had a great experience with The Arbors of Bohemia. The care services provided by the staff have been wonderful for my loved one. This puts the family at easy. If I had to recommend an item for improvement, it would be to communicate the financial side better to the families during the tour, move-in, and the duration the loved one is in the community.

My loved one was here a short period of time. The staff was excellent.[names removed] were both extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend the Arbors. The facility was clean, staff friendly and care when needed was always available.

It felt warm and inviting, staff smiling and laughing with residents. I want to feel comfortable and excepted when I come to visit. The residents look clean and cared for. Outside of building need’s flowers when spring comes

I have toured many communities for families and Arbors Westbury is truly one of my favorites. It has such a warm feeling of home from the moment you enter the community. The staff always has a smile on their face and is there to help with whatever the need may be. They have some of the best recreational activity programs I have seen as there is always something to do! And the food is freshly prepared daily by top chefs. I strongly suggest this community for your loved one!

The Arbors in Westbury is the perfect blend of home and hospitality. The community puts the residents needs first from the care given by the wellness staff, the entertainment provided by recreation and the support of case management. The Arbors in Westbury separates itself from the competition by creating a home like atmosphere that other communities cannot duplicate. 5 stars! As an outside therapy provider I consider it a privilege to work alongside a great staff and friendly residents.

I love living at the arbors. The activities is very good. Friday games with [name removed] is definitely what I look forward to. I love the scenery rides. I love how the staff train in different departments to help out. I love to socialize while going on outings for trips. The staff here is very nice. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed]. All the staff is nice to me that's why I'm very nice to them. I love dancing and singing. Pet therapy makes me feel very comfortable. The dining staff is amazing to me and my tablemates. We laugh and talk a lot at the table. I love my roommate we are very good to each other. I love baking with [name removed]and [name removed]. I love to help out a lot here in the community with other residents and recreation. My primary Doctor [name removed]is very good, and see stays connected with my outside physicians. I love so much about the arbors, and I love being here. My room just got renovated and I love it although my bathroom is a little small. My room is awesome.

Each staff knows the residents well. From the moment you enter the community the staff know and understands the needs of the residents. The care staff provide great care and go above and beyond for each resident.

They did a lot of things well little things like bring a little basket into the room by the sink and the soap dish by housekeeping, made a feel welcome, right away. Sunday service and Wednesday rosary helped a lot.

My stepfather “Pop” has resided at The Arbors at Westbury for 6 yrs. Initially a rough transition from independent living, I credit the staff’s support, kindness, & patience in helping him adapt. I live out of state, & the staff was sensitive & responsive to my needs/requests to help Pop settle in. It is so gratifying when Pop calls The Arbors “his home”. He often tells me “This is the best place for me, the food is very good & I like it here”. The staff at The Arbors are interested in getting to know their residents & strive to help make their lives enjoyable & comfortable, in a friendly & dignified environment. They do a good job balancing Pop’s needs to retain some control, independence, & privacy, & his need for assistance. The staff have made a positive impact on Pop’s life! I will only mention a few ways. Wellness is invaluable in meeting Pop’s health care/personal needs. The Chef is a “gourmet cook” by Pop’s standards. I loved having my sister at The Arbors at Westbury, however, she needed to have higher level of care. She was a resident for 2 years. She loved being at the Arbors. It was her happy place. If my sister didn't need more care, she would still be a resident at the Arbors. Who knows, one day I will be also.

This was a good community with great staff to work with. They had a lot of activities for the residents to engage with. This would have been a bigger move for my loved one. Also, it was more than we wanted to spend.

There's not enough nice things to say. We are always busy. They offer so many different things to do. From trips to entertainment. The food is tasty. Chef [name removed] is excellent and so nice. The chicken parm is a must!

I have been here for over 4yrs. I couldn't have made a better choice to come live here. Even though its "assisted living" I am still very much independent. When I do need help the staff is always ready. They are all so nice and compassionate. I enjoy all the games and activities they have to offer. Some of my favorite things to do are play WII bowling and spending time outside reading on the patio.

Some of my favorite things to do are bingo, morning exercises. Their entertainment is amazing. One day we can have an singer and or we can have a musician. I really enjoy all their parties and happy hour. We get to dance enjoy a drink and some snacks!

Very nice tour experience with Arbors at Westbury. While we were there there were a lot of residents out and about and activity going on -lively community. We just found it not to be the right fit for what my mother needed.
