Anthem Memory Care

My mom likes it here. Activities especially when they get to go on adventures out of home. Food ok. Staff great! Sometimes out of kleanex and other bathroom supplies. Wish they would change sheets more often.

They were very caring for my husband. I am 2 hours away and they called me with updates.

Beautiful facility, Very well designed, We would look at this place again in the future.

[name removed] was helpful, friendly and knew residents by their first names, friendly and respectful. Most rooms are shared where beds are foot-to- foot. This was a shift for me but may be beneficial for the residents. Lots of gathering areas, activity room, and large court yard. Appears to have more high needs residents concerned dad may not have enough cognitive stimulation with individuals at his level. Cost is reasonable and dad can “age in place”, we would not have to move him if he needed more medical attention.

My parents live here currently. The staff has been very compassionate and caring. The director is young and seems to be really involved. The nurses are good; I’ve even been told that the head nurse will spend the night every so often to make sure everyone is doing okay. They make sure the CNAs are assigned to the same rooms so there’s some consistency with the residents. Everyone we’ve met seems to be really hands on with the care the residents need. My parents are always neat and clean and they get 3 meals a day. The facility has plenty of activities available like puzzles, coloring, reviewing the news, bingo, and chair exercises. During the holidays they threw a Christmas party with a Santa exchange and even brought Girl Scouts in where my Mom was able to help ice cookies. The building is nothing but open space and the residents can walk around all day if they want to. Their ratio is 1 caregiver to 6 residents, so there’s a lot of one on one care. We’ve heard nothing but good reviews from other people who have loved ones living here and all in all, it’s been a pretty good experience. I would recommend them and have already done so.

I visited Highline Place unannounced on November 28, 2017. It is still a consideration.

I looked at Highline Place while looking at places for my mother. We were looking for a larger community than where she was living at the time in the hope that by moving to a larger place, she would gain more opportunities to engage in activities. I really liked Highline Place and thought it was very nice. However, the location would have been great from work, but too far away if I was coming from my house to visit.

I moved my mother to Willowbrook Place recently and I have found it to be very nice. I believe the people are very attentive. They learn the tenant’s names and needs very quickly and they try to be as helpful as possible. I like that this place is bigger than the last place my mother was living in because it allows for more access to activities. They do have a lot of options here such as games, church services, bingo, crafts, music, bus trips and other activities. The food here is also very good, but it isn’t always served very hot. Generally, Willowbrook Place is very good, and I’d recommend it.

New facility planing to start taking residents Nov. 21 so we were not able to see staff interacting with residents. Anticipated staffing ratios to be 1/7.75. Beautifully decorated without being overdone. Room sizes were generous and bathrooms huge. Divided into 4 "neighborhoods" for resident's rooms but community rooms are spread throughout the 4 neighborhoods which may be a concern if self mobility becomes an issue. Total of 54 beds. Hallways are wide. Inner courtyards are completely surrounded by the building and those with elevation changes (landscape beds) are alarmed so residents are escorted outside. Residents fed restaurant style in 2 dining room areas and there is also a community kitchen area where hydration station and snacks will be available for residents. Had a small sensory room with aroma therapy, fidget blankets/pillows and changeable lighting for those needing less stimulation. Facility is laid out in a figure "8". Will take Medicare/Title 19 after private funds run out but would be transferred into a companion room. Rates based on room choice not care needs. This may not be the right facility for our family member although it remains on our list of possibles. Feel it may be too big and overwhelming. May be confused by all the white doors in the hallways. Dining rooms and some public areas may be too large for hearing well. Outdoor views in courtyards only have view of the building walls which would be tough for dad who is a nature watcher.

This community is a little over a year old and it is very nice. It looks like a very high end hotel or resort. The staff was very nice and friendly. The price was way out of moms budget.

We were very impressed with the site. The community was very clean and well landscaped the building is only a few years old. The staff was very friendly and informed. The residents appeared to be happy. They seem to have different activities to keep the residents busy. At the time of the tour they were full or else I would have chosen this location

This was a clean looking community when we visited. The person that took us on tour was friendly and they do allow pets. This community seemed larger than what we were looking for.

ThIs is a clean nice looking community. The person that took myself on tour was nice. This community works with resident that have advanced memory issues. My loved one did not need the care this community offered.

Porter Place was a very nice and clean community that we toured. The staff was very nice and explained their process and answered all of our questions. At the time we were touring places we were just looking ahead for future needs of possible memory care. Very nice place.

So far so good. [Removed]. coordinated an appointment schedule for me to meet with him and tour the facility . We discussed options for the care of my Grandmother .Although there will be another assigned ED to the facility in the near future , i appreciated the time taken . I hope my Grandmother will have a better experience in this Senior Living Arrangement .Move in date planned - Sept 1, 2017

My dad is in a place that is better for him and they understand dementia and memory care. They are new and opened less than a year ago. It is smaller and very clean. There is a small group of residents here and I'm happy that my dad is in a better fitting community.

We liked this community at the time of our tour. The people were nice and helpful. The community is clean and they seem to offer some nice activities. this community did not have an opening when we visited.

They were competent, because they genuinely loved my wife. Anything less would be unacceptable to me and to them.

My husband lived their 2 years -, we well taken care of – always clean – I would highly recommend Highline Place.

We enjoyed the tour but felt the facility was a little more institutional than some of the other facilities - this was our second choice, however because we felt they would be able to handle all my Dad's needs without hesitation.
