When I toured Hanover Place of Tinley Park, I thought it was a very nice place. The facility was clean and everyone there was friendly, but they did not offer the level of care that my father needed.

When I toured the Hanover Place, it seemed like a lovely community. Everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean. They did not have an apartment that was conveniently located like other communities, which is why I chose somewhere else.

I am glad to know that my friend is in a great community with the very nice staff that are very helpful. The community is very clean and maintained. She seems to be happy with the food and the variety. She is active with the activities with other residents. I would recommend the care and value to other families.

Our tour of the Hanover Place went good, but it wasn't a good fit because we knew we have to move him again when he required a higher level of care. The tour guide answered any questions I had and they have even called and invited my father to stop by again.

These are wonderful senior apartments. The community is very well maintained. The staff is very polite and kind. The maintenance guy is always willing to help. I feel comfortable and safe at this community. Everyone have been welcoming and nice.

I'am having a good time here at this community. It is well maintained. The staff is nice and friendly. I'am pleased with all they have done for me. It has been a lovely experience.

I feel like the community could use a security at night to feel a little more safe. I haven't had any problems with any kind of security there are usually staff around if i need help. I like to participate in some activities that are offered one of the activities that i like is the reading club. The housekeeping does a good job maintaining the place clean and organized.

Vancouver Pointe is the new name of the community. We really enjoyed our visit in November and decided to take advantage of its move-in special. We moved here in January and experienced the last of the on-going renovations to the facilities. The food is improving and so are the activities. The strongest point for the community is the friendliness of the residents. The only possible concern is how all the new changes will impact on the cost to live in this community and the subsequent impact on the composition of the resident population.

I wish the tour guide had been truthful with me. Im 62 and only looking for an independent living Cumminty 55 and older. This Cumminty is an independent. Assistance. And medical one.

Only complaint is menu is limited and repetitious. specials are not great so mom fills up on desserts

The property has an excellent location. Both my parents lived at the Manor for several years until they passed. On a number of occasions we had family members come from out of town to visit. They all stayed at the Peppermill which is an excellent hotel-casino with free airport shuttles and walking distance to the residence. We found a real plus the parties held several times a year where families were invited to participate. Another nice option was the private dining room. On several occasions, to include birthdays, we had "four generation" dinners with our own server. Not last, but to be included, was the affordability. My dad was self employed all of his life and did not pay much into Social Security. Their monthly income was limited so cost was definitely a consideration.

Very close to strip mall with grocery shopping bank all within walking distance. Waist high gardening plots. Wonderful duplexes. Maybe a two bedroom main floor with patio...Maia very nice worked there 14 years. Large windows at ends of hallways. Put name on waiting list for cottage and two bedroom.

I help a woman in this facility daily, I find the peple friendly and helpful.

My mom has been a resident here for about 3-4 years. She enjoys the bingo and plays cards with a group of ladies many afternoons. There are special outings for Sunday drives in the summer, or lunch at restaurants around town. Virginia Lake is just a couple block stroll down the street. There are other happenings,too, but she doesn't always join everything, it's her choice although she is always welcome to attend. I think the best "things" about Lakeside Manor though are its employees. They are always friendly, patient and ready to help, and they know the residents by their first names. Lakeside Manor is not a fancy, resort or hotel type place, but an older, well-maintained, comfortable home for its residents.

I love that they are pet friendly and the staff is very helpful!

We chose it for the location and the fact that it's an active community, so they had a younger mix of residents. They don't have any dining here because they are independent living. They have asked what else to add for activities, they have card games and a movie theatre, and parties for occaisions but that is all. It's a good option for active senior living.

What a beautiful facility. I would enjoy living there ! It doesn't appear to be geared towards very elderly people like my mom.

Older facility but units are nice. Clean. nice dining room and common areas.

We liked this community when we visited. It was clean and the people we met were friendly. They did seem to offer some nice amenities. We chose another community as it had an opening at the time.
