Admission experience: It was fine, good. Nursing care: Very professional. Staff courteousness: They are fine. Housekeeping: It's very nice and clean. Food service: You have to remember you are asking questions about a dementia patient so she doesn't really say much, I'm not sure.

My mother has been a resident of Alden Estates for almost 2 years now and I have to say the care she has been given is outstanding!!!! I'm at Alden at least three times a week and at various times and I have observed nothing but kind, loving staff. Thank you Alden for helping me sleep better at night knowing my mom is truly being cared for!

Our mother has lived in Alden Gardens of Bloomingdale for just over one year now. We are very pleased with the care she has been given. Each and every staff member has helped our mom adjust to her new living arrangement. The residents of Alden are cared for by caring, patient and helpful individuals. From maintenance to the director, from the dining room services to activities. The nursing staff is kind and willing to assist Mom as she requires. All the support she receives is provided in such a manner that she still feels independent and in control of her life. Mom’s apartment is perfect for her needs. The common areas are clean, well lit and welcoming. We visit our mom weekly and have found the building to be consistently well-kept. A common sight at Alden is to find groups of people gathered in one of the common rooms, chatting and laughing. Mom loves the activities and participates frequently. We have visited many different facilities in the area. We are very happy with our decision to place Mom in Alden. Thank you, Alden, for the peace of mind!

love the bright people friendly sitting areas on the first floor, the openness of the dining room watching the outside while at the right temperature inside. Friendly staff, ready to assist. That was my first impression of Alden Gardens. And i have been here one and a half years, and my first impressions were right on. Now i play cards, bingo or crafts in the bright rooms, or just stop to chat. Before retiring to my cozy apartment.

We are very happy with Alden Courts of Waterford and our sister's care there. We are especially impressed with the kindness that is always shown to her, even tho, having Dementia, she at times acts out. Of the facilities we toured, Alden is definitely the most attractive and well planned. The hallways are nice and wide and the wings are just the right length, making it feasible for the staff to be aware of what is going on with the patients. Each wing has it's own dining room that is a manageable size, and sitting areas that make for a homey setting. Even with loss of memory, our sister feels familiar and comfortable at Alden. Our thanks to all the staff at Alden!

My mother and 2 aunts purchased an attached home at the Lakes at Waterford Aurora, IL. Ruth who assisted myself and the aforementioned ladies in the process could not have been anymore professional & helpful. She was very knowledgeable about all the contractual & financial aspects and delivered on any promises that she made. My mother and aunts are extremely happy in their new home and I would certainly recommend The Lakes at Waterford Aurora, IL to anyone.

Although my husbands stay was only for a short rehab stay the team there took very good care of him. He really liked and appreciated the therapy team. Very accommodating but also genuinely caring and wanted to make sure that when he went home he would be successful in his continuing healing process. Everyone has been extremely friendly. The staff has been accommodating and kind. They seem like really caring people. People need to realize that the jobs these caregivers have is not an easy one. Everyone should try it for a day! It was a good selection. I would absolutely recommend them for therapy! Thanks to the team there!

I picked this place because it had a bed which can convert to medicaid and overall place and pts looked clean and cared for on our visit. No time to see multiple locations with hospital breathing down our backs either.. I think they give good care. Mother seems clean and attended to. They recognized problems she is having and have tried to address them.

They offer a lot of ativities. It has been a really good experience for my loved one, who has joined in on some of the activities. My loved one seems to like it here, and has made new friends.

I have lived here for 5+ years. The food is by far better than other places I've been. Staff are friendly and very helpful. This is Alden's main campus and the grounds are beautiful. Festive holiday decorations make this a very homey atmosphere. I call this "home".

I have a 1 bedroom with a balcony. The people here are friendly. They have different daily activities. It has a game room and a workout room that's nice. If I ever need a ride for some reason they offer a shuttle service that take people to the doctor or the grocery store. There are a couple of things I don't like and that's the front door it doesn't seem secure and there is only 1 elevator so that leads to a long wait time.

The staff at Alden Courts is personable, family like and attentive. The food is good and they offer a lot of daily activities. The community is very clean and I would recommend it.

It is still a work in progress for my mother with her move to this community, but I do feel she is in a safe community. Her previous was excellent community was excellent, so we had pretty high standards. She is doing okay for the most part. The staff is kind, and helping her to adjust too the move. The community is well maintained. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the community. There are nice activities offered, and good meals are provided. Overall everything is moving a positive direction for us at this community.

Mom is in the process of moving in permanently to a studio apartment. Soon we will be bringing her furniture etc. She is excited and has liked the staff and Dr [Removed] and food. I love that I can visit her on one of many screened in porches with views and that I can order and eat meals with her(she also loves the idea). The place is decorated beautifully and clean. She is no longer able to walk but just requested a scooter!(I've tried talking her into that years ago!) There are water features and an outdoor path that I know our visits will be excellent. Its all new but going amazingly well and she looks good( great peace to the family) thanks so much for your guidance and genuine concern??

This was a nice tour for my parents. The staff was nice and were able to answer the questions that they had. They offered a menu and them variety. They offered good activities. that, my parents, would have enjoyed. I would recommend that others tour this community for the care that is received for their family member.

I am pleased with how comfortable my parents seem to be in there new living environment. They have a spacious apartment with lots of great views with a cozy living room. They also offer an activity center that is open to all of the residents where they hold different game nights and events.

My tour went well of this community. The experience was a nice one. The community looked well-kept. From what I saw everything was neat and tidy. The staff was kind and friendly. There were many factors that played into where to place my aunt for her needs. This is a nice community, but it wasn't the one for us.

This community was very nice brand new. The staff was all very nice people. The place was new, so it was not very full. The rooms didn't have the homelike feel we were looking for but overall the place was very nice and comfortable.
