We had them come out for 5 days to see how things went. The schedule I needed did not fit their model, but administrators tried to work with me. She only needed care first thing in the morning and last thing at night but you had to pay for 4 hours. The first person that came out was a very heavy smoker and hard to be around. The second day they sent a different person and she was great, but was young and inexperienced. Then things went downhill fast, we had someone by the name of [name removed] come out and she was terrible. She was inappropriate and unable to do her job and the tasks that we asked. For the amount of money we paid for this service, it was not a good experience.

Please look into better options than Senior Helpers of Rock Hill, SC for your loved one. There are much better, more honest, and higher quality ones out there. This business is poorly organized and operated. I strongly recommend you look into other home health agencies.

Just awful. Disorganized, rude, and insensitive. Paid zero attention to the kind of caretaker we asked for. Then refused to respond to email text or phone calls from us OR our provider. She couldn’t get them to answer her either. They don’t train anyone. They just pimp out home health care workers. Our provider was amazing. Truly. I hope you find her through another agency. We revived NO bill till weeks after our heath provider left and then were told we had to pay in cash or check. They don’t accept credit. So only use these folks if you have an extra wheelbarrow of cash sitting around.

I just signed off on the last time sheets for synergy last night. I'm relieved the 7mos with them are finally over with! [Name removed] the owner, her daughter [name removed] and the 2 caregivers [name removed] and [name removed] made my life a living hell for those 7mos. [Name removed] and [name removed] used the 7mos to try and get rid of me. They had the caregivers come in and pry into my personal business, asking questions constantly that they had no business asking. They eavesdropped on my conversations with friends who were visiting, when they weren't joining in on the conversations. My friends couldn't stand either one of the caregivers. They told me I should report [name removed] for snapping at me constantly, in front of witnesses, for constantly complaining about having to clean. [Name removed] even threw a tantrum in front of 2 of her supervisors and 1 of my attorneys. Her supervisors did nothing, that's why I didn't complain about the snapping. But I was embarrassed! Then there was [name removed] who didn't want to work either, she just wants to talk about how wonderful she is and how many guys are after her. She thinks she's a great catch! Both of these caregivers are too old, too physically unfit, too lazy and too incompetent for their jobs. The staff doesn't care what the clients need or want, they won't even consult the client before making changes. I would never deal with synergy again, nor would I recommend them. They also left me with no ride to the dr in an emergency. The caregiver who would have taken me was suddenly assigned to work with my neighbor across the street at the same time she used to work for me. I saw her car there every Friday, until I dumped synergy. Then the caregiver wasn't working there anymore. Talk about being cruel and thoughtless!

I had a very bad experience with this agency. To put it brief, they canceled their care at 7:30 pm the night before the day of the planed care. This is why I went to a agency so I would get the help when I needed it. They should have people on call in case a other staff person is sick or family emergency. The owner never called me back that night when he said he would, never heard from him again. I thought this was very rude and [Removed. So I have not looked into any more agencies at this time.

It was a terrible experience with Home Helpers. They sent a woman who stayed for 2 hours but did 10 minutes worth of work. I also was billed for a higher amount than we agreed to. She did nothing while she was in my house. I told them what I needed, a housekeeper to help me. They made arrangements with a caregiver not a housekeeper.

Within a few months of starting, I reported a large amount of some missing change. (A large plastic water-cooler full of coins - no pennies. Too heavy for me to lift, several hundred dollars minimum, probably $1,000) I still haven't heard back, months later, as to how or whether they ask the caregivers if they noticed anything strange. (I couldn't [Removed] anyone, as there had been 4 different caregivers in the house at the time we noticed the missing money.) In addition, there were two no-shows, and no explanation. I assumed after the first one, they would be hyper-vigilant. I was wrong. When I called the second time, to find out if anyone was coming, they got their wires crossed again and sent two, forcing the one with a car to leave our home at 11:00 at night. While we have one excellent caregiver, with this company I'd say conduct your own background check ON EACH ONE and get a security system in place.

I agree with the other persons review, you can not depend on these people to care for your loved one. They may be pleasant folks but they have no business trying to run or operate a business of this nature.

We hired Senior Helpers, Granada Hills to provide appropriate caregivers for my very fragile elderly mother. After an extensive evaluation of our needs and interview they sent 3 different caregivers on 3 successive nights, each caregiver undeniable [removed]. None followed our instructions. After 3 days we sought good caregivers elsewhere, BEWARE that Diana McRae at Senior Helpers does not apply the charges for hours worked to their 2 week advance deposit until you've given 2 week notice of termination, and WILL NOT REFUND the advance deposit for any reason. It's not standard [removed] to expect families to continue to [removed] It's just wrong!! Don't be fooled like I was by a fancy, impressive website and words!

Home Helpers & Direct Link was awful. The lady that they sent did not do any of the things that mom requested. We asked that she help with meals and do light housekeeping. She didn't even take out the trash. The young lady that was supposed to be her supervisor promised to check in and see how things were going. She never showed up and checked on us. They also promised to provide a back up person if this lady didn't work out and that did not happen. I will never use them again. They charged me the full rates for the time she was there too. I didn't think that was fair given the lack of work that was done. The owner, Michelle never called to check on us. It was a very bad experience.

We called to obtain their services. No one called us back. We waited 3days with no phone call returned. They must not need or business

I was working with comfort keepers for the weekend and it was a nightmare. They had told me it was $300 a day and than $20 dollars an hour to $27 an hour. I was really angered with at first I started with one division just to find out I have to be switched to another one. nothing went the way it needed to go, it was just a start bait and switch. It will be a cold day in hell before I recommend them to anyone. Blossom from the Claremont location was bad mouthing the other division and I told her shame on you for doing that, I have hired and fired people in higher positions for being unprofessional.

If you value professionalism and integrity, then look elsewhere.

Very unorganized, never enough "caregivers" I was very disappointed. The one "caregiver" that was wonderful with my Mom was only available once a week. We were looking to ease my Mom into someone being here 3 times a week but had to settle for the one day. This was our first experience hiring a "caregiver" and wanted to make it as pleasant as possible for my Mom and not overwhelm her. They didn't seem to understand that and just couldn't work with the schedule we wanted. As you know this was very difficult for my husband and I so we considered ourselves lucky to have the one day just to get out for lunch. Lots of promises that did not happen.

The WORST home healthcare agency you can hire. We went through them for our elderly mother. We caught the first girl they sent [removed] money from one of our drawrs. They consistantly dont send workers/ they never show up or call. It seems like the office staff doesnt even know what they are doing.

Charge for services not performed. Won't refund deposit despite promises.

I would give them a negative 5. I had a caregiver manhandle my mother, and she is still working for the company. It took her three hours for the caregiver to come get me when she was throwing things at her because my mother was was scared. They broke their contact with us. I would never reccommend anyone to use them.
