So far, things are going very well! They seemed to fit my loved one's needs the best. Not only do they mention the training and screening of the caregivers, but they also provide dementia care, which is what we really needed. So far, we are very happy!

We are very happy with Around the Clock Companion Care. The caregiver that they matched with my mother-in-law is just about a perfect fit. The caregiver does everything I've asked and then some. She takes care of the house, feeds my mother-in-law and our two cats, runs errands and plays tiles, too! We look forward to her visits three times a week.

The way they bill ya and stuff, that's about the only thing that I kind of disagree with, but they're working with me. It's just I don't understand some of the things that they do. We only have one person, I didn't want multiple people coming in and if he can't come in I just let it go. I guess it was a couple of people that I spoke to, different companies and I just chose him. They just were, as far as I was concerned, more knowledgeable about Alzheimer's and stuff. Financially it's hard and I'm supposed to be getting some help but they're taking their sweet time.

I met Perfecto in May of 2012. He came to our Senior Center to perform and told the audience about the services Magic Touch provided and the staff from Magic Touch was there as well to answer questions about the home care services they provide. We were all very interested in what he had to say and we have his brochures available for people and we also have his ad in our monthly newsletter. Perfecto sings and has a fantastic "One Man Show". The seniors love him and the warmth and trust he has for others is clearly noticed by all. He sings songs that bring joy to everyone. When he meets you the first time you have an instant respect for who he is and what he stands for. I would never have a problem recommending Magic Touch to anyone.

I chose Senior Helpers because I had a connection with the owner, Rod. We got to talking and he made me feel good, they are hands on with their company. Senior Helpers has done everything they said they would. Their rates are comparable with similar services, and they are a little cheaper in some respects; we were surprised by the expensiveness of the industry on the whole. As far as activities go I haven't seen that they do a whole lot, but that may be my loved one not wanting to do much of anything. They brought over people to meet my loved one before starting which we really appreciated.

Mark is the person who runs Synergy and he was able to make my mother feel comfortable and answered any question we had with confidence. The way he presents him self with control and confidence really makes a difference. He has a fantastic chef that works for him that is able to prepare diabetic and healthy meals as well.

AllCare Associates is a small company, I chose them because they weren't so commercial. They took time during the placement interview to get to know my mom and her needs (kind of like a dating service) and matched her with the right caretakers. They keep everything very clean; the aides and director are very friendly.

Our caretaker is reliable, kind, and thoughtful. We really trust her with the care of my sister. She is able to see what is needed as does it withiout waiting to be told.

We have had some good and nice caregivers. Once in awhile we have gotten new caregivers or clunkers who didn’t know how to get my husband in and out of bed. Generally the agency is now assigning the same caregivers who know my husband and are experienced so everything is going smoothly

A good company to work with for help with home needs. We had one person who was not qualified and they took care of the issue for us. They are willing to do whatever we need to change and have no problem recommending them to anyone. I think their fees are comparable too.

A significant injury leading to a hip replacement coupled with Parkinsons forced my wife and I to seek outside assistance after leaving rehabilitation. We called "A Place fo Mom", as we had very positive things about them. They listened to what we were saying and referred us to "Home Instead". Our experience with them after several months is for the most part very good. Most of the care givers that we have met are capable and committed to being helpful. The support people are terrific. We met one of the trainers, and she was clearly exceptional.

Assisting Hands has been great to work with. [name removed] and [name removed] are always available to answer questions and assigning workers when needed. I have two elderly parents with different needs and it’s been great not to have to worry at night anymore as the care givers have taken on the responsibility of keeping them safe at night. Assisting Hands is also great about making sure the caregiver they provide works well for your specific needs and requirements. I have been very pleased with their service.

Started off ok, however in home assistant was non agreeable on several tasks that were expected. Had a fill in that was 180* improvement. Since then, my folks have been much happier with their in home care assistant.

Home Instead has worked well with us in an effort to find the right fit for Mom. The first two caregivers did not work out. The third caregiver who started this week seems to be doing very well, and Mom is happy at this point.

Senior helpers is great to work with. So far I have not had any problems with the caregivers. However some have not been comfortable handling dementia. I wish they could orient their people more on dealing with dementia patients this would be very helpful Other than this they are doing a great service

Once I requested Home Instead they contacted me and sent a representative over to evaluate my needs and answer my questions. I was pleased with the person they sent over. She fit my needs and was very compassionate. I would recommend Home Instead and will use them again.

The caregivers they send are very kind and thoughtful to my Father. They make sure he is cleaned and fed. They don’t just sit on their phones and babysit. They have conversations with him and really care. They are punctual and look for things to do around the house including light housework. We have one caregiver that comes twice a week and another that comes in on Sunday and we are very happy with both of them. My dad is an Army veteran and we did have some issues with combining Va benefits and private pay but I think we have it all worked out now.

With very few exceptions I have had excellent caregivers and supportive assistance from administrators. The cost is much lower than other services also. I have 2 parrots and the caregivers have been excellent with them which is highly appreciated!!
