Looked at both, reg and memory care area. Overall Nice,Clean no smells. Room is big, with room for dads recliner. Has kitchen type nook with storage for snacks and mini fridge. Building is showing some signs of wear. 10yrs old. Have asked different providers and all of them have spoke highly of the Staff, is very good. Residents were friendly and seemed happy.

The friendliness of the workers and the other residents. The food was good and it was clean.

Tour was nice and very clean with beautiful facility and very friendly staff.

our experience with CountryHouse has been so far so good. they offer a lot of activities, such as: making cookies, floral arrangements, trips out and about outside of community, and morning exercise classes - my sister loves all of these things. everything is located all on one floor and the although the community may be a little short staffed; they are still moderately staffed for the amount of residents they have. the food is great, my sisters likes it a lot. we have no complaints, she loves being here!

Mom has been here a little over a year. What a fabulous place. The staff and caregivers are wonderful. The residents are kept very active and mom loves their outings. I would recommend Sunol Creek Memory Care, with out hesitation.

The staff, especially [Removed] were warm and welcoming. The staff were all friendly and astute to my Moms needs. They all made her feel right at home. I highly recommend Astoria.

My husband liked this community when he visited. The people he met were nice and the community seemed clean. This is in a nice neighborhood. This community just did not seem like the right fit for his mom.

After reading a few of the reviews I decided to write a review of what I experienced while touring this community. I toured this community on 12/17/2016 and was very surprised at what I experienced. The building is a lovely building sitting in the heart of a neighborhood environment with the concept of making the residents of their community feel like they live in a home and not an institution. The grounds were beautifully landscaped with serene sitting areas, big trees and a huge back yard with pathways and a gated environment to accommodate the memory care residents. The inside was a warm inviting feeling. Several Christmas trees were decorated throughout the facility, staff interacting with the residents while decorating gingerbread houses and Christmas music playing. I was impressed with the community Manager greeting me on a Saturday and explaining to me that she was there to engage with the residents during their party. The environment was very clean and has recently been newly remodeled to give a home-like, warm, inviting feeling. The one thing that stood out and impressed me was how I was greeted and made to feel like my stopping in unannounced made no difference to the quality of services provided in this community. My husband was very impressed with the community and asked "how old must you be to live here!" The residents were smiling and the staff were very engaging in the Christmas spirit. After researching this company on line and asking questions during my tour, I'm very impressed with the philosophy of care and high standards to make every effort to customize individual needs and being dedicated to focusing on the needs of family members coping with a loved one who has memory loss, Alzheimer's disease and entrusting someone other than a family member to care for their loved ones and seeing first hand what this community offers in the terms of care, compassion, activities, down to earth family style living, a beautiful and quaint like atmosphere, a one story community vs a two story community, the posted Facebook activities that are provided to the residents daily & each holiday celebrated in a big way, put a smile on my face and a feeling of trust and gratitude to this community for the work they do that is clearly making a difference in the lives of those they serve. If you are looking for a place to call home for yourself or a loved one I would highly recommend you tour this community prior to making your decision.

My husband was the first person to move in to this new home. From our first tour and interview to today when they had Easter Brunch for the families...we have been very happy with the place and the people... They treat everyone as their family and customize their program for each individual... We couldn't be happier and thank A Home for Mom for finding this place for us ...

Overall-4 Staff -mostly friendly and helpful but understaffed, overworked. Directors - not always aware of their duties because their predecessors leave no instructions. Activities - card games, exercises, outings, movies, visiting entertainment There are mall pets allowed. It's Nice and has clean decor. They have good housekeeping. They have yet to have a fire drill New culinary director and slightly better meals and open dining 7:30 to 6:00. Good room size. There has been a large turnover of directors.

I was so thankful for them. Food was great. I guess it is more prevalent now but I was surprised that if you have a loved one that dies on the 2nd that they charge you for the whole month. We really did love it and it was the best place for our loved one.

What we like the most about the community is the overall charm of the building- it makes it feel like a cozy home. My mother in law has only been there for about [date removed] so still feeling things out

Okay. They are helpful, but Lots of staff turnover. Seems like they consistently have new people helping you out. Some with more experience then others. In an older building but it's in good shape, but sometimes the circuit breakers switch off when too many things are on at the same time. IE: heater, television, lights and have to have a maintenence person put the circuit breakers back on. Enjoyed the resident/relative Thanksgiving, Christmas holiday dinners they had.

The staff has been very responsive and helpful. Initially, there was a delay with administering medication. I would recommend keeping a few days of meds set aside just in case of a delay due to new or unclear prescription details. Overall, I feel my parents landed in the correct facility. The staff communicates well and are truly concerned for their well being. The facility is beautiful and well maintained.

The facility was near to my mother’s residence and close to her known contacts in the area and the facility seemed to meet all her needs – care, therapy, dining and hair salon. I believe Sage Glendale is a viable and suitable option to assisted living for residents that are ambulatory. My mother is not in that category

Sunol Creek is a lovely facility with some very wonderful care givers. Unfortunately for my husband, it is not working. He has Parkinson's with dementia and has taken numerous falls while in their care. His needs are just too much for them so we are looking for something more intimate. I would give them a 4. We have only been there just shy of [time frame removed}

Well after reading reviews about resident treatment & complaints, i would have encouraged my family to rethink placement here. Not everyone is a bad apple, but repeated complaints about same issues with care takers needs to be addressed.

Everyone was very friendly and provided lots of information and were very helpful in the decision and moving process. The rooms are nicer and the house much more interesting than the other memory care facilities I toured. Also there are more residents so better chance of my high functioning sister to find friends. Not as much communication or responsive now that we’re moved in as I expected but everything has gone very well. I’m comfortable that if I needed their attention on an issue they would be supportive. My sister has only been there 2 months so I’m looking forward to getting to know the staff better.

Overall, the place was pretty great. There were some issues but they were dealt with, and the staff went out of their way to be accommodating in many ways. If I had it to do over again I would move my mom there again.
