Caring, attentive, and friendly staff, great staff to resident ratio, developmentally appropriate stimulating activities, pretty comfortable, and cleanly environment, good ongoing assessment of medical issues. Knowledgable management.

Wonderful staff. They communicate often and clearly. Nurse-staff caught a health issue I didn't notice. Care is very loving and understanding. They know how to care for those with dementia with dignity.

Very nice new facility, ideally close to our home. Being new hard to judge longevity of staff. Visited memory care and saw staff involved with group of residence. Many nice amenities for the more self sufficient. Move in fee seemed high, and price for small space was on upper level compared to others visited so far. Because of location may still be considered .

This is an awesome place for people with memory issues. The staff is wonderful and all of them care about the residents and see to their needs. They do an outstanding job!

[Name removed], Senior Living Consultant, provided me much-needed guidance and counsel toward my parents situation of my dad being diagnosed with Alzheimers. I really appreciate the honesty as well as two books she gave me on caring for those with the disease. It was wonderful to see the remodel of the facility. It's in a great location with access to paved City pathways. The grounds have a lot of trees and other greenery with space for the residents to enjoy the surroundings.

My dad lives in the memory care community. I can not imagine going through the last 9 months without the caring ,compassionate and most of all educated people that provide care to my dad. He is in need of total care and he is always clean, and well taken care of. The team has met every challenge both medically and behaviorally that he has given them. Family is included in any and all decisions and we feel apart of that team. If he wants Cheetos in the middle of the night he gets Cheetos! They see him first and his disease second. Sure, its a nice clean facility, food is good, lots of activities but Brighton Gardens is sooo much more that. The support and caring they have shown not just my dad but the whole family is priceless. We could not have gotten better care for him.

Great place! I live in the area so I've seen this facility almost daily. Never thought I's be helping a family member find a place but you can't say never. My aunt fell in her home and her health took a down hill spiral. I needed a place for her right away. The people that helped me were polite, educated and truly cared. I highly recommend Kingston Bay.

One of the most hospitable communities I have toured while looking for a home for my Dad after Mom passed away. The amenities are gorgeous but I really loved the people I met at Kingston Bay! My Dad will be moving in.

Sunol Creek is a great place. My mother has been very comfortable here. Of course there was a period of adjustment but then she settled right in. I was apprehensive about placing her but she was no longer safe at home. Here, she is safe and well cared for.

What a wonderful experience! [Name removed] truly loves what she is doing. Her compassion for the residents and incoming residents is genuine. On this journey of placing my mother in memory care, it is comforting to find a place that is so welcoming. After visiting other facilities this is where I want my mother.

I have never thought that I would want to be in an assisted living facility but Astoria has changed my mind. The staff is very caring and never too busy to stop and chat or give a hug. The food is wonderful and the outings are always fun. Today, we went to Chicken Ranch in Jamestown for a a lovely ride and lunch. There is always something going on at Astoria. Bingo, Happy Hour, musical entertainment and much more. It's a nice place to be . . . safe, comfortable and you couldn't ask for nicer people running it. I am very glad that I am here.

This is a smaller community so there is personal one on one care. Mom say there is humor in the house with lots of laughter. The staff is incredibly caring, kind and patient. Very warm atmosphere. It is clean and they do her bedding daily and her laundry when she needs. There is a lot of daily activities for mom to enjoy. They have as great care plan here they will set down with the family monthly to talk about any changes. When it is warmer there is a nice courtyard area that she could have a garden. I would recommend this community.

I went on a tour here and it was good the staff was friendly. They answered all of my questions. It was a very nice place. It was clean and nice. It just was going to to far out for my sister's and I to make sure she could get back and forth to doctors. In her car since we all have trucks. Just wasn't a good fit.

I definitely would recommend this facility to other families. The staff is terrific and seemed to be knowledgeable. They are very nice. The facility itself is secured. Patients are free to roam in an open space. The only locked space is the exit and entrance. They are very cleaned and organized with everything. They have a dedicated caregiver for each tenant and a person responsible for getting them up, clean and dress up, and someone to take care of the cleanliness of the room. I’m not sure about the frequency, but they seem to be on top of all that. They offer all kinds of activities as well. They have afternoon snacks, during Halloween my loved one decorated cookies, they have bingo, and a motor bus for outings and they return back right before dinner. Every time I come to visit in the afternoon my loved one is occupied with some sort of activities. Tenants are given the option to participate, but my loved one is busy all day long doing activities.

This is a nice community for care. The staff are nice, but they lack communication when it comes to keeping me informed on changes. We like the activiites that are listed for those who want to participate. We would suggest that families take a tour for the care of a loved.

I have only toured this facility. But having direct experience with 3 other communities and having toured half a dozen others, I have never seen a staff present itself better. Everyone I met was smiling and engaged. Even the FedEx delivery guy. They have such a great attitude it is contagious. And most importantly, the residents also catch the attitude. All other aspects were there too in terms of services and amenities.

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and I can't say enough great things about this community. My mother is busy with different things to do from the moment she wakes up to the moment she goes to bed. They have a lot of activities going on throughout the morning and often taken them on different outings during lunch time. I like that they also often hold events in the evenings for the family members to go and enjoy with there loved ones. I would highly recommend this place filled with great food, fun activities, and a great staff to anyone interested.

We love this facility so far. Mom was just moved in 2 days ago and she is very happy here. [Removed] is a pleasure to work with and so far we are very happy with the care. Mom says "they are so nice here and take good care of you". Thats what we like to hear.

We like this community. The staff is very helpful and caring. We do like that they are attentive. The community is clean and I have liked the meals that I have had with her in this community. They offer her a lot of activities that she is enjoying with others. We would recommend this community for the care.
