My caregiver in my opinion has been very pleasant, compassionate, over and beyond her responsibility of taking care of mom, preparing a meal, snacks, doing mom's laundry, taking her for short walks around...

So far Affordable has been doing a great job taking care of my mom. The aide they have provided is on time and she gets along well with my mom. I have no complaints! [name removed] takes mom to doctor, and...

They came to me at the hotel for the initial interview. I was looking for a "live-in" (rather than caregiver shifts) for the ~ 3 weeks stay in the arbnb following my procedure. They have a caregiver who...

After using another reputable home care service for my husband, I became dissatisfied with so many aspects of their services that I decided to look for another home care service for him. I was very satisfied with the services that Affordable provided him/us for almost five years until his death. Following his death, and finding that I was starting to need home care services, I continued to use Affordable and have continued to enjoy their many personalized services over the past two years since his death.

So far everything is working out very well for parents since they started to receive services from this home care agency. They are doing great, and I'am very pleased with all they have for us. This is a home care agency I would recommend.

Pleased with the caregiver. The billing isn't up to par. The don't seem to have a regular schedule for sending out bills. The caregiver is a nursing assistant. She is always on time and works well with my Mom.
When talking with in- take nurse. Be specific what you are looking for for your loved one. Remember you are paying for the care and when care givers come into your home Have clear expectations for what is expected on your side and what Affordable Family care can do for you situation. Affordable has a app that is great for family and care givers. I really like that feature. They have been great with my mom. Affordable is the best for our family and is what we needed a year ago. My mom has been able to be in her home and taken care of. It has been a great relief knowing she is taken care of Thank you.

They were responsive in finding me someone quickly to sit with Mom while she was in the hospital, as well as finding someone for home care. Yes, I would recommend their services to other families based on the experience so far.

Owners great Admin good but when you complained they never had any complaints on that caregiver before Caregiver services I wished the administration staff would make surprise visits and let us discuss areas needs improvements. Communication between changing caregivers not good. They need a need a note and record system where next caregiver can read notes as. Well as family members to read notes of updates to their loved ones or problems they may be having with them. Some caregivers don't know how to care for patient at all.

[name removed] was close to my age, but a bit younger. I requested help from Family Care at the last minute due to family dynamics and [name removed] was able to get [name removed] right away. [name removed] and I spent most of the day chatting. She would fix lunch and do laundry. This was what I needed to help me deal with my recovery after knee replacement surgery.
Affordable Family was one of the few services that would 'work' with the client. [name removed] ran the place. Very sharp. Responsive. Follows up. Will text or call. Good at both. Was willing to tailor a program to fit our needs. Most services were like min hours/min price. No other discussion. The nurses were tough to find at the time due to COVID We finally found one. She wasn't the best but more than adequate.
We ended up placing her in Memory care at Cadence in Wake Forest. She was there for 5 months before the Lord took her home. I believe Cadence did the best they could. It was a clean environment and lots of fun activity. Honestly, it's hard because no one takes care of your loved one like you would. Having said that we wouldn't have done anything different.

[name removed] was very helpful in our intro meeting to discuss how they could help. Once we decided to move forward, they were able to find a nurse to help us. Unfortunately my Mom deteriorated rapidly so we had to cancel the service after only a few days.

I've had a good experience with Affordable. Especially with long-term caregivers. It can take time to find the right person. A Place for Momhelped me find Affordable care, I chose them because they seemed the most attentive to my needs.

Too many substitutes, but other than that it was a good experience. We would recommend Affordable Family Care to others if they can cut down on the substitutes. You train and become attached to a caregiver and then next they are gone.

This service is very accommodating and they will do whatever they can to satisfy your needs. They are very open and they listen and they will try to make sure that all of your needs are met. While using the services we had two caregivers that swapped out weekly. We did have to replace one worker and now the new person is working out greatly. We just wanted to make sure that my loved one was comfortable and that the caregiver fit. The company was quick to switch and find someone that would mesh better with my loved one.

The staff was very friendly. There was some staff that was really great and others that were inconsistent. I would try to get a regular caregiver if you can for consistency. I would recommend this service to others based on my experience.

They're a good group, but you do have to weed through a few of the caretakers until you find the right one. They're very friendly. I enjoy talking to the head nurse. - she's very helpful.
