Affordable Family Care Services did an outstanding job in a difficult situation with my Dad. The caregivers and office staff were easy to work with and attentive to my requests and Dads ever changing health.

Over the years, I've utilized the services of a variety of large and small caregiving agencies, so I understand what sets apart a high quality agency from the others. Affordable Family Care Services has earned all five stars. For me, it's difficult to release "control" of caring for a loved one. I'm particular. I'm an advocate. My standards are high. Here's the good news. So are they! First, they are committed to matching my needs with the right caregiver. Not just from their pool of talent, but also through creative channels. Second, AFCS is a great partner because the management, staff and caregivers are dependable, reliable, and flexible. Third, they understand the nuances of the caregiving business, such as insurance, billing, and working with the client on affordability, etc. Finally, this group of leaders are dedicated problem solvers! Anyone who has experience with home health care agencies knows that there will be problems (staff is sick and you need a replacement fast, some issue with billing, a caregiver issue, etc), but Affordable Family Care Services is lightning fast in addressing the problem and resolving it. I love that!

My experience with this service business was excellent. The entire process from beginning to end for care of an elderly parent in his nineties was accomplished in a professional and courteous manner. The aide, [name removed], performed all functions at a high level and provided a great quality of life for my father while maintaining his dignity. I highly recommend them.

Affordable Family Care Services is very attentive to the needs of my parents. They schedule staff who match up with my parent's personalities and needs. This is a huge relief when living so far away from my parents. The owner checks in periodically too.

We have been a client of Affordable Family Care Services for a year now and they have enabled us to stay in our own condo with the help from their caregivers. My husband needs special care with a Hoyer lift and they have found wonderful people to help us with that and also help me with household chores because of my own hip and knee challenges. Having caregivers come in each morning and evening has meant the world to us and we’re so very grateful. We would recommend talking to them about any care needs you may have. They are wonderful people.

Affordable Family Care has been my one and only provider for nearly two years which was the point when my performance of daily living skills became impossible to do at the same level on a daily basis. The CNA’s and the Personal Care Assistants have always been appropriate and respectful. When the chemistry wasn’t right or our dogs were too much of an issue (one associate was allergic), the parting was amicable and the transition was smooth. The business office works well with my insurance and whenever there is a problem, we discuss it and agree on the resolution. AFC is on the smaller side of these sort of providers, but very professional. They are also aware of the need for exposed and intelligent staff since many of the clients miss the stimulation they enjoyed when they were more active. They also are aware of our requirements for walks and errand ventures. Obviously, these sorts of matches between client and care giver require conversation and discussion among all. I have never felt “invisible” in these discussions. AFC is not perfect, but is readily accountable at all levels. Can’t ask for better!

I highly recommend Affordable family care services. My elderly mother needed 24/7 care in her home and we were very happy with their three excellent caregivers who watched over and cared for her in a kind and professional way. They told me that affordable family care offers them ongoing training to maintain their skills and to learn new ideas and techniques for working with dementia clients. I really like that. Both [name removed] and [name removed] were consistently helpful with scheduling and addressing our concerns. This is a very difficult situation for everyone--mom or dad and the family that wants the best for them in these waning years of their life. We found that Affordable family care services were able partners on this journey.

I've got nothing but praise for these people at Affordable Family Care. They are sending quality caregivers to my moms 5 days per week. Mom describes her days with her assigned caregiver as " happy, happy, happy." I recommend them highly.

I am very impressed with this company’s attention to detail while attending to my mother’s unique needs. Affordable Family Care Services thrived when my previous agency failed. I especially liked that I had direct access to my mothers nurse, her regular caregiver, the VP and even the owner. Best decision we ever made was to switch to Affordable Family Care Services and keeping mom in her home instead of placing her in a facility. This company has done more than I imagined possible in terms of brininging me peace of mind knowing she is safe and engaged with a caregiver that’s an absolute blessing.

I only have good things to say about this home care agency. We did have a few bumps trying to find the right caregiver. The caregiver that currently comes to the house is accommodating and my mother in law likes them. The service came out to the house and explained everything up front. They offer services such a companionship, light housekeeping, cooking and personnel needs. I would highly recommend this home care agency.

We were very happy with the staff from this great service.We were happy that they were able to find us, someone, as soon as needed to help with the care for my mom. The care taker was very respectful and caring to her needs. We like that they were willing to help with some responsibilities.
