The facility is beautiful but it's all smoke and mirrors. When you first meet they give you all the service and care they will provide but they do not follow through with that care. Every additional thing they do is charged on the bill the cost is very high. Beware of the salespeople. I would not recommend this community to others.

My mother has been at Aegis Lodge for about 5 1/2 years. When my mother entered Aegis Lodge it was a well maintained place with good food. As the years have gone by the place has become unmanaged, the housekeeping is horrible and the food is awful. It is definitely not chef quality as they advertise. My sister has complained repeatedly about the housekeeping and food with no avail. I just recently visited my mother and her apartment was filthy, her sheets, clothes and towels after being laundered were all crumpled up in a pile and thrown in her closet. Her refrigerator had mold along with her bath mat. Employee turnover along with management is overwhelming. They have an elevator that hasn't worked in months. I do not recommend Aegis Lodge!

It was impersonal, overpriced and they charged for services they didn't provide. They even made mistakes on meds that could have life threatening consequences. The turnover was constant and the contact with loved one was never consistent. Often things came up missing.

I had a bad taste in my mouth when I looked at the cleaning lady named [name removed], how she charges for some items that guests benefit from and her work always with a very despotic and arrogant attitude. The stay was short for my family member and due to these reasons I decided I will never use their services again and I would not recommend them

This was a bad experience for my loved one. The turnover was high and lack of continuity. They told me that he needed to see a psychiatrist in a psych ward to evaluate, so they sent my loved one to the hospital. They ended up kicking my loved one out of the community after this.
