As with any congregate living facility there have been some hiccups which prevented me from giving 5's access the board. Still, we are happy with our choice... the executive director is fabulous and has asked to be personally texted when family members notice any problems. When the ac in my loved one's room stopped working properly, the director had a portable unit placed in the room to make it more comfortable until the needed parts can be installed. The director has also hired a manager to oversee housekeeping, and a new chef. My mom, who is a picky eater, comments daily about how good the food is. I'm at the facility daily and what has impressed me the most is the congeniality and kindness of the employees as a whole. It is wonderful they seem to get along so well, and also show concern for the residents.

The level of care has to be evaluated because my mom is more independent than most there and is required to pay the same as a person wheelchair bound! It is expensive, the rent has increased every year.

The staff is very nice and they have a lot of social activities. They could improve on checking the residents thoroughly. They give my mom 2 showers a week and they completely miss an infection in her right foot. Unfortunately the infection was so bad they had to cut 3 toes off and part of her foot. I was very very upset. The surgeon said the infection was there for at least a month. That is unacceptable! I thought about taking her somewhere else but my mom is declining and I felt it would be too hard on her.

I think it has some good people working at this facility. It is expensive but most facilities specializing in advanced care are expensive. Mom needed memory care and the facility was close to my sisters house.

Very good experience, they go out of their way to assist/care for the resident, including special tasks for them.

Very happy with my selection of Capital Square for my mom. Staff are what makes the place great. Everyone addresses mom by name and go out of their way to engage her -- even though she doesn't always respond. I can relax knowing she is where she needs to be.

We chose The Monarch because they focus solely on memory care and that is what mom needed. When I walked in it was so clean and I also knew the gal who was showing us around so that made us feel more comfortbale. I think they are going through a change right now so there are a couple little issues, but I think it will resolve once things get straightened out. It is mostly all inclusive but there are some add ons that can get expensive. I am very happy with The Monarch. It is great for anyone looking for memory care for their loved ones.

I was looking for place for a loved one and this facility was highly recommended. I took their advice and was very pleased with what I discovered. The staff was warm and welcoming. The facility and the patients rooms were clean and well kept. There was adequate staffing for the clients. The clients seemed to be good spirits. The food appeared to be appetizing and well balance. From my observation there seem to be enough activities to keep the clients entertained. The cost is comparable to or better than some of the other facilities that I have visited. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants to rest easy knowing that your loved one is well cared for.

It's a good place. They take care of the people who live there, and their level of focus for each individual resident is good. One area for improvement is their communication with families, especially during Covid lockdowns. I didn't receive any notice of the lockdown and was turned away the other day when I went to visit.

Our experience is going well so far, we are having some difficulties with our loved ones dementia it has caused some aggression, but the staff members are working very well with our family to get our loved one on the right medication. The community is well kept and a very nice environment. They have a nice garden that is very relaxing. The meals and dining service is very good, and they have a lot of activities as well as pet therapy. YourLife is a really nice place.

Their laundry situation is atrocious. There are clothes in my mother's closet that don't belong to her even though I've labeled all her clothes. Sometimes I come and she's wearing the same thing she had on 3 days ago.

Food was good, dining was good, place was beautiful, activities were great some staff were really excellent, some staff with direct contact with my loved one were not kind and some were downright disrespectful. My loved one did not have full on dementia like most of the patients there, but rather sundowners and confusion sometimes. Some of the staff talked badly in front of the patients because the patients had no clue what was being said. I took issue because people's loved ones were around and were hearing this stuff. My family was very present and some of the care giving staff did not like it. We also went in there thinking it was a 24 care place and quickly found out that we had to hire a private aid at $[fee removed] per hr ourselves on top of paying the $[amount fee] est per month to live and eat there. It was the only way we could be assured our loved one was being taken care of. Some of the staff was nasty to our hired caregiver which had taken care of my loved one an entire year before moving there. So, the place was pretty and had good food and activities, the rest left a bad impression on my family.

I know that my loved one needs to be in Memory Care and that she needs the more one on one care, but our experience here hasn't been great so far and she's not getting that one on one care. She's in a wheelchair and their policy is to keep the residents' doors closed, which makes it hard. She's had several falls. They can't keep an eye on her if her door is closed. We were told that the staff has eyes on the residents here 24/7 and that there's a nurse on staff 24/7....neither of those things are true. Not from our experience, anyway. Another issue is the quality of people that they hire. Often when I visit, the staff is sitting around the table on their phones. I definitely feel like the staff needs more training. My loved one often refuses to take her medication. Instead of trying to work with her to get her to take it, they accept her refusal and move on. We've also hired an outside caretaker to come in and check on our loved one and to help her with the things that she needs help with. The caretaker frequently takes our loved one's laundry home and washes it for her because it's not being done by the facility. I'm going to schedule a meeting with the facility to address these concerns. I wouldn't recommend this facility to friends and family who have a loved one that is dependent and needs more one on one care.

I thought Inspiritas was nice. But it was a bit too formal, and it didn’t seem as homey. The people there were nice though.

This place used to be good when it was called Monarch. With change to YourLife it looks like the focus shifted to making profit. As a result, there is limited or poor staffing, residents not cared for properly, constant staff turnover, uncaring management, inappropriate food served etc. Hope things turn around as these type of services are needed in South Florida.

I would tell others that your FIRST experience with the team is great, they are extremely helpful and wonderful, but then it all goes downhill. When you need to contact them and leave messages or email them, they are very poor to get back to you.

"Unfortunately, my experience at Yourlife has been disappointing. The community's amenities and services didn't live up to my expectations, and I had issues with communication from the staff. Despite the great tour from [name removed], the reality hasn't matched the promise. Hopefully, they'll work to improve.
