I went on a tour and saw a lot of things I don't see at other facilities. I saw a caring staff. The residents look clean and well kept. The rooms are beautiful looking and big. The building has a warm feeling of home.

So far - amazing experience. Kind, patient and truly attentive. Communication was important to my family after having a bad round of "hospital to rehab to home to hospital" experience where the communication was god awful. This has been a nice change of pace and I feel understood with mom's needs. Highly recommend the residences to anyone dealing with finding a nice place for their folks.

We toured Residences a few weeks ago when considering options for respite care for my father who lives with us currently. Although we are not quite ready for a move, I can definitely see us moving him in here when it is time. The place felt like home, the resident doors were nicely decorated and the whole building was clean on the tour. It didn't feel like a care facility. It felt warm and inviting. My husband and I were quite surprised and how much we liked it.

I've toured a few memory care places for my mom who is has progressing dementia and recent behaviors. This place stood out because it seemed like they were very transparent on how they could actually HELP us instead of telling me about all of their programs and activities. In a time where we were exhausted and confused about where to turn, I appreciated that they gave me guidance and are helping us through this time in our lives.

We couldn't be more thankful for the compassionate experience we've had while moving my grandma from her house of 40 years to Coffee Creek. The staff truly go above and beyond to make sure she is taken care of and feels a part of her new home. We love that we can come in and eat lunch with her in the restaurant anytime and she is more social than she's been in a long time.

The place is very clean and homey. My sister's apartment is a nice size. I was there at lunch and my sister's meal seemed good. I did not see any activities. Most of the residents were watching TV. The one person assigned to her care that day, seemed helpful. My brother-in-law is concerned about my sister not being taken to the bathroom enough or being changed when she has an accident.

Our mom recently passed away and dad has been lost without her. Mom was doing a lot more for dad than we all realized so when she passed, it was so hard to know what direction to turn. I tried having him live with me and that just was NOT working. His dementia is getting worse and we needed somewhere he could have his own space but get all the help he needs. Residences at Coffee Creek has been an answer to our prayers and we cannot say enough GOOD about how they support dad and us!!!!

We have had an excellent experience in the Memory Care with my mother. The staff is patient and the place always looks nice. Mom no longer asks to go home anymore when we visit and I'd like to believe that's because she feels at home there. 10/10!

I've lived at Residences at Coffee Creek for almost a year. I am 86 years old and I live in a one bedroom apartment. I have met a lot of really great friends and I enjoy the activities. I like the bus trips on Fridays. No place is perfect but I think they do a really great job here. I would recommend this building to anyone looking for themselves if they are elderly and lonely. The food is good too.

My brother has been in and out of rehab for about 4 months after a series of falls and hospital stays. We were so happy that Residences at Coffee Creek approved my brother to become a resident and we can't wait to get him moved in. We have visited numerous times and have stayed for lunch and dinner. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious. My whole family is very excited for my brother to have this opportunity to live in a clean and happy environment with nursing on site all day and night.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Staff really engaging with the residents a joy to see! The residents from a glance and staff seem to really family oriented. If I have a loved one in the area that meets the requirements I would definitely sign them up to be at this place 100%

[name removed] is excellent! She brings such dedication and positive energy to every task. Her attention to detail and kindness truly brightens the facility. A wonderful example for all! 5 stars all around, every time.

My husband and I recently toured this facility. It was very clean and well kept. The staff was welcoming and kind. Would recommend to friends and family. We really love the space and how it was set up.

I recently toured north woods and I was overwhelmed with how warm and inviting the space and the staff was. We instantly knew this was were my father would feel most cared for and welcome. The staff was absolutely incredible and [name removed] was so knowledgeable and kind. She really knew how to talk to my father and make him feel at home.

I first visited the facility a few months ago to visit a family friend. I was so impressed with the environment, the food, and the entertainment but the staff was truly Amazing! I highly recommend any and everyone to North Woods Village!

I met with [name removed] and he was very nice and was very thorough on the tour. The building is a beautiful design and it’s very welcoming. The staff were a kind and happy and I really like the family dynamic that they seem to have this place is definitely in my top three.

I have been in and out of working and this facility through other agencies for years. I can say there are very few that have know not only knowledgeable staff concerning dementia and Alzheimer’s care but also genuinely care about the residents. [name removed] ( director ) brings a breath of fresh air and strengths based perspective to families and staff and is extremely proactive to support people when they need it the most. I can say from working in all the memory cares in Kalamazoo county- this is the one I would choose for family if needed.

I love the personnel at Northwood Village. Always caring and attentive to the patients. Everyone is friendly and makes my mom feel like she is with family. North Woods Village is the place to bed. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Overall my parent is doing well at North Woods and the staff encourage residents to participate in daily activities. The staff are also supportive and take an interest in resident interests and well-being.

Northwoods Village-Edison Lakes welcomed us with open arms. We were worried about the transition of my mother-in-law taking her from her from her home to here. They made the process so smooth and easy. Everyone is so welcoming and they all take pride in everything they do. There are so many daily activities to keep her healthy and busy. We couldn’t be happier with our choice.
