Compared to the facilities in Illinois this was much better and affordable for her needs.

My dad's room, neighborhood, shared living spaces, meals, activities, on-sight care give me peace of mind. When I visit I feel welcomed, comfortable and at home. I am so grateful we found North Woods Village of Edison Lakes to care for my dad.

I moved my mom to the memory care here about 2 months ago and this has been such a great experience for us. We were so worried she wouldn't acclimate but she is doing wonderful and we can live our lives not constantly worried like we used to. Great food, clean nice staff. The boss runs a tight ship. Best in the area and I've seen them all.

My sister lived here and we absolutely loved it. When we visited her, all she talked about was how wonderful the food was and couldn't believe how much better it was after being in the hospital for three weeks. The nursing staff were very attentive to all her needs and she found the visits from their social services counselor to be very helpful too. So much going on for whatever your interests might be.

Caring and compassionate staff who advocate for the well-being of each resident. Every person is treated like family in a warm and inviting environment. The space is always clean and if there there are any concerns, any member of staff is willing to help. Their reputation precedes itself within the community.

My sister lived here. It was the very best choice for us. Every single department contributed to her excellent care and services. The kindness of the staff was immeasurable. The quick move in process was handled exceptionally well by the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing who coordinated everything with us and the hospital. When we arrived, everything was waiting for us and just perfect for my sister. The attention she got, the warmth and caring shown to her and our family will never be forgotten. I understand why they are considered the best!

We are so happy with the care and attention my mom is getting from North Woods! We could not have asked for a better place for her to be and are glad we moved her out of where she was previously. The management team keeps us informed about any concerns and works with us to help us understand the progression of mom's health care needs. The food is fantastic, and mom is loving all the activities they have going on. we have visited several times and it is always clean, smells good and staff very friendly.

I was there earlier this week and found it to be exactly what I was looking for. I met with the executive director who spent a lot of time with me explaining exactly how they will care for my sisters and their approach. It is refreshing to find a place that actually knows how to handle individuals with memory problems who are physically active. The apartments are very roomy and their neighborhood will be perfect for her. I was able to see some activities going on too which was nice. the building looked and smelled very clean.

He passed away a few weeks ago. Residences was a wonderful place. All staff were very kind, nice and thoughtful. Very giving. Nursing staff available 24 hours/ podiatry, hair salon, physician and nurse practitioner make routine rounds, food is good, weekly housekeeping/ laundry.

My mother has been at North Woods Village for over a year now and has consistently received outstanding care. I am in awe of the staff and how much they care for all the "friends" that live there. They are very knowledgeable on caring for memory care patients and show such love for them all. I can't speak highly enough of our experience with them. I thank God for all of them every day.

I am very pleased with the North Woods Village of Mishawaka community. The staff throughout are friendly, courteous, kind & caring. If ever there is a concern, the staff is very accommodating, helpful, & prompt. Overall, I can rest assured that my loved one is being very well taken care of.

North Woods Village is a beautiful, comfortable home for Mom. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make the residents and family comfortable.. The rooms are spacious and we love the "neighborhood" feeling of the facility. I appreciate how everything is kept so clean and tidy. The courtyard, as well as all the grounds, are well manicured and welcoming. Special thanks to the Directors and all staff for taking such pride in the care of our loved ones.

Moving our mom to a care facility was not an easy transition to face. It has been an incredible relief to have found North Woods Village at Edison Lakes. The staff has been very kind to Mom and that has given us all great peace of mind. They stop to give a hug, say something nice, spend a few minutes here or there sitting with her and treating her like the living and feeling being that she is. The residents are often very fragile in one way or another-memory loss can be so cruel. Having staff trained specifically to meet these people where they are is so important. A second extremely important factor for us is cleanliness. We need Mom to be in a clean, fresh, uplifting place. Her housekeeping staff member is one of the warmest people I know, truly cares about the residents, and has cleanliness standards that reflect her genuine care for their well being. The staff has been welcoming, available, approachable. We feel we have made a good choice with North Woods Village at Edison Lakes.

I struggled to take care of my Mom at home alone while I continued to work full time. I knew it was not the best situation for either of us so I began to look for a solution and I found North Woods Village and from the moment I walked into the facility it felt like just what I was looking for. I am seeing an incredible improvement in my Mom and it gives me peace of mind. The facility is very secure, nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is well trained and attentive and the food is delicious. In addition to the resources for residents they offer caregiver resources. I definitely recommend North Woods Village as a gem in our community.
