Westmont Living

I was looking for a place for Dad when he started to need more care with ADLs and becoming more confused. And also looking for a higher standard of professionalism. Dad feels cared for and loved at the memory care unit at the Oaks. In his last residence Dad did not participate in the activities and was isolated in his room. He is starting to come out and join some of the activities now and become more social. The on-site therapy group is really doing a great job and Dad is safer on his walker now and getting in and out of the car and chairs more safely. I really like the communication system. When they know I’m coming to take Dad somewhere they take care to make sure he is ready to go. Raquel, the director, does a real good job. She is available to talk to me about Dad and really helpful. The staff appear well-trained and all are genuinely loving toward my Dad and others. They invite family to celebrations and special fun activities. I highly recommend the Oaks at Nipomo.

The staff at Westmont were all very helpful. Of particular interest is the fact that they were kind enough to downgrade my mom, who was a resident of the memory care unit at Westmont from level 2 to level 1 after she had been there for a month because their initial assessment was revised. This meant that her monthly rental rate for her room was reduced by $1,500. They also made it retroactive to the beginning of her stay there. Something they volunteered to do without me having to ask for a change. The staff in the memory care unit were all very friendly and kind to my mom, forming personal connections with her as much as it is possible to do with an Alzheimer's patient. We also enjoyed having lunch in the main dining area just outside the memory care unit. My mom particularly enjoyed the fish and chips being originally from Scotland 😋. I liked them too as I would usually share her meal. The wait staff in the dining room were also very attentive to our needs. Overall my mom's experience at Westmont and mine too has been very positive.

They're all very nice and caring. Mom loves it there. As far as the food goes, They all agree that the food is too dry. They've asked for sauces or gravy to make it better.

Few places in this crazy world are good enough for my Papa. But The Oaks at Paso Robles feels like the Ideal home . He loves it . As someone who has seen Bad Performance and Good performance. The staff at The Oaks at Pas Robles go above and beyond to make the community feel happy, Healthy, and ready to enjoy life. From Wonderful Entertainment to Imaginative activities . And a menu that makes you feel like you've tasted just a little slice of heaven. Papa loves to get his Work Out in the gym thats just few doors down. And walking his little puppy around for everyone to enjoy. I hope I make it there one day . Respectfully - a loving Grandson

A place for mom was very helpful and informative. I told them the general area I was looking for and they had interviews and tour set up for me within a couple of hours.

Overall it’s been a very positive experience for me this past year. Staff is great very accommodating, very friendly and helpful. Regarding the food I don’t always like what they serve, but we have options. It’s very peaceful, secure I feel very safe. It’s a bit pricey,but I enjoy the location and love my apartment

The food is GREAT (Restaurant quality) Grounds and building are immaculate. Staff is great. ONLY COMPLAINT is the lack of availability of high speed internet! NO Spectrum, ATT&T, and no satellite internet allowed here. I'm using a "hot spot" for internet and TV. I go through 100MBs pretty quick. If they allowed a company with high speed internet, this place would be PERFECT!

When my daughter found Westmont of Morgan Hill, she knew that this was the only manager care facility she wanted for her mother. Not only were the building and grounds beautiful, but the warmth and demeanour of the staff was exemplary. No one was too busy or self-absorbed to offer help or answer questions. But what sealed the deal for her was not just the willingnes, but the staff’s eager desire to show her everything. This was in contrast to other places she visited where the director tried to hustle her along with a firm grip on her elbow. Westmont demonstrated that they had nothing to hide. I will be eternally grateful that she found me such a lovely place to live.

Most definitely would recommend to others. The only thing I would highlight is my thankfulness for the Westmont staff with their positive, professional, and caring engagement with residents and visitors. My Auntie and I have been so happy with her experience at Westmont. While this is our first and only experience in an assisted living facility, I really can't expect anything much better.

My mom, sister and I are very happy with Westmont Town Court. I can connect with activities via LifeLoop app so I know what's going on every week. I live in Northern California and Mom and sister are in Southern California They are having a bit of a turnover right now....at least management wise. The servers in the dining room area are all very polite and patient with the residents. Mom's housekeeper is awesome and does a wonderful job.

Wonderful experience Facility is spic & span They all know your name Considering Dementia patient, they do the best they can do Food is ok, but bland I feel the activities are adequately suffice, it takes participation I'm so glad I found this place and [name removed] is the Best

It is more expensive than other places but also has better food & more amenities. The Maintenance staff does their best to keep the facility clean & in good repair even though it is 30 years old. The rest of the staff all the way from Brad, the manager, to the dining room staff are very attentive to the residents needs. The residents are also very friendly & welcome new residents.

I would say if a perfect can afford it, worth the money. The staff were very caring and generally a stable group. The environment is kept clean and pleasant. Plenty of activities.Also the commute for me and my sister was a factor.

La Mesa's Wesmont is such a lovely neighborhood. comparable to my relative's residence at [removed]. The way the staff looks after the people and the community is simply amazing. My uncle is receiving assistance from the Westmont administration as he moves into Westmont after more than 60 years of residence. Initially challenging, he now finds it enjoyable.

Westmont of Fresno gets 5 stars all the way around except for the value for they money. When I run out of our savings, I have no idea what is going to happen. The staff members at Westmont are great! They take really good care of my loved one. They are all so kind to him and to me. I would recommend this facility to others who are searching.

5 for everything! What our family likes the most about The Oaks at Paso Robles is the staff, service and the facility. They have great activities. They really try to involve the residence. Yes, based on the experience our family has had so far, I would definitely recommend.

At the end of April, my mother began her stay at [removed]. The initial sense of comfort I received when seeing the house, as well as how warm and polite the personnel were, were determining factors in our previous choice of Westmont at San Miguel Ranch. We felt at ease and certain that my dementia-stricken mother was in safe hands. The Director is amazing and is always willing to go above and above to assist. If there are any problems, he communicates quickly. Furthermore, the activities director does an outstanding job of organizing interesting and imaginative events for the residents. My mother adjusted better than expected and is thriving in her new neighborhood. She enjoys taking part in any and all activities.

My parents have been at Westmont for over 2 months. During their time there, they've been treated very well. They use the pool, participate in the exercise classes, and attend the social events - which happen regularly. And even though they're still independent drivers, they use the courtesy van service for their medical appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All of these amenities and services make it possible for them to enjoy what matters the most: their health, safety and personal wellness. And it also means I can enjoy a great meal with them onsite, but not do any of the dishes :)

What our family likes the most about Westmont of Fresno and what actually is the best part is the staff. The staff members working there are superior and have worked very well with us. Based on the experience we have had so far, we have already recommend this community to others and will continue to do so.
