Everything is 5 stars! We are very happy with our experience at Waltonwood Carriage Park. The staff is very accommodating. My mom and dad feel welcomed and have done activities.

My loved one is in Independent Living. I am very happy with the facility overall. The staff is PHENOMENAL. Everyone treats you as family. What I'm furious about is their new protocol regarding falls. If a resident falls and is unable to get up, the staff are not allowed to help the residents up. An ambulance must be called and that, of course, is billed to the resident. We are paying several thousand dollars a month to live there and they cannot assist when a resident falls. Everything else is perfect, that is why I'm so upset.

I would recommend you to others. My loved one is adjusting well, although I live in another state so I don't get to see her as often.

My mother is happy at WW. My mother had been adamant for years that she never wanted to go into “one of those places”. She lived alone very happily in her own home. After a health incident she began to be uneasy about being alone at night and consented for me to investigate the possibilities. When my husband and I toured Waltonwood at Lake Boone, which is so near our home and near my mother’s longtime Raleigh home, we felt very very good. My mother later agreed to a tour and was greeted by a lovely kind resident who acted as host for the tour. My mother immediately signed a commitment. The facility is lovely. It is very finely decorated, well maintained, has a fantastic and thoughtful layout with tall ceilings throughout including 10 foot ceilings in the apartments and beautiful common rooms each with a fireplace that is always on. She tells me often that the food is good. The staff has been friendly, thoughtful and patient. We’re four months in and very happy

This facility is very nice !!! I love my apartment!! When my wife was here with me we had a two-bedroom appt. that we loved. I had to move her to a different facility which was the hardest thing I have ever done. I enjoy the staff here, all are very helpful and very nice to talk to. They take time to answer all and all questions. I have found that if they did not know the answer they would research it and get back to me with an answer. The food here is getting better and better. some time ago the food was not very good, but with new chefs and I guess better cooks,, most of the time it is quite good. This does not =mean it is as good as my wife's cooking by any means but for a facility food it is very acceptable.

It has been a real joy to be a resident of Waltonwood. We are one big family. There are so many social activities and events that each day is exciting. I do recommend living at Waltonwood to anyone interested in living independently

My mom looked at several independent facilities to live She loved this one .She very much loves it here. A lot of activities to do .All the staff is very friendly.She made a good choice coming here to live. Anyone looking for a independent facility they should definitely come and check it out.

I took a tour of Waltonwood Cary during my search for an Independent Living facility for myself. This facility and my tour were both great! The atmosphere was nice. The facility was very clean. Everyone was very friendly.

My loved one is a resident at Waltonwood Ashburn. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The care associates are very capable and handle the residents very well. The food is good, or so my loved one says. Communication with the family is open, they are always available to answer questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend Waltonwood Ashburn to family and friends. Especially the Memory Care section, as it is small (only 26 residents).

My father passed away unexpectedly in 2021 and mom needed to find a senior independent living community that would accomodate her visual and audible impairments. Waltonwood Lake Boone provided the perfect setting for mom to thrive by providing a large apartment with a patio overlooking the courtlyard on a floor with easy access to the dining facility. The large apartment size enabled her to create a comfortable living space using many of her home furnishes. Adjusting to a new reality was made easier by the very helpful staff and wonderful group of volunteer residents. Waltonwood Lake Boone is located minutes away from Rex hospital and a vast network of medical support facilities. They provide in-house physical therapy as well as many life enrichment programs. For my mom Waltonwood Lake Boone was the right place at the right time.

About 18 months ago, I could not be convinced that I would be happy living in a "hotel " for more than a week. Actually, this new lifestyle far exceeded my expectations. I have lived at WALTONWOOD senior living independent community for 1 year. Nothing has surpassed my expectations more than what I have found here. The community is warm, inviting and friendly. The activities are designed to meet the interests of most residents. T ainment, are frequent, affordable and are selected with staff input for variety. The entire staff here works together to make us feel safe, secure and loved in a quiet home felt environment. I am at home and I am proud to share home with my family and friends.

Our father is an active and independent 101 year old who is currently residing at Waltonwood in Raleigh, NC. Following a couple of unsuccessful six-month residencies at other senior homes we were ecstatic to find Waltonwood which has truly proven to be an oasis. From the welcoming leasing department, the ever helpful-24/7 concierge desk, accommodating dining room and cleaning personnel to the caring life enrichment and kind management staff, Waltonwood has been an answer to our prayers. The building is stunning, and beautifully maintained, the meals are diverse and delicious and the programming very inclusive. We highly recommend Waltonwood.

My father was living at home with me. He was doing okay, but had no social life whatsoever. He is mobile to a degree but limited due to his hearing challenges and the fact that he is in his nineties. From the very first time that I toured Waltonwood, chose Waltonwood as a good fit for my father, moved him in, and every moment since, I have been reminded that Waltonwood is simply ideal. There is an aura of peace and love in every aspect of this facility. I am daily impressed by the kindness and caring of the amazing staff. They are all truly saints. Every staff member I have ever met has been upbeat,, enthusiastic about working here and so very attentive. Every detail is addressed immediately and with care and respect. The building is spotlessly clean and bright, modern and welcoming. My father’s apartment is ideal for him. Spacious and comfortable and home. He is beginning to socialize with the other residents and to make friends. Waltonwood has been a godsend.

The heart and soul of Waltonwood lies not in the physical space alone rather in the staff who plans, organizes and facilitates the multitudes of excursions, activities, services, sporting events, professional arena shows and on-site entertainment of every variety for residents to enjoy. The food preparation and quality here are unparalleled and planned by our on-site professional chief with particular attentions to quality of taste and nutrition. The activities director coordinates multiple activities available for most every hour of the day. Most importantly on a personal level, I feel safe, secure and well cared for living here. I recommend Waltonwood most enthusiastically to anyone needing a little help while aging.

I would recommend to other families. It was a really wonderful experience. We were both in the independent and assisted living communities and my mom loved her time there. We picked this community, because of the gorgeous rooms and facilities, and the location.

Waltonwood - Cary has been very easy to work with - sensitive to all of our needs and individual situation. My parents love the food, the socialization, the activities and the grounds, apartments and amenities are beautiful. I felt peaceful and safe while visiting and the entire facility is clean. All of the staff and physical therapists and occupational therapists are wonderful and very engaging. They remember everything and that is so meaningful.

We picked this community, because they had a huge incentive going. It's a very nice place. They have caring administration. It's lots of community, and opportunities for engaging with other residents.

The one thing that made Waltonwood University stand out was the feelings we got while there. Everyone was truly caring. It radiated from them. The other places...were fine but they were doing their jobs. Truly the difference. My brother has been in the hospital and rehab the past couple of weeks. I can tell he misses WW by the statements that he makes. That means everything to us!

The staff members at Waltonwood University are great! Our mom is happy and safe! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My loved one is a resident at Waltonwood Cherry Hill and everything has been great. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. We didn't even feel the need to tour any other facilities, this one was that great. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to others.
