Caring staff, adequate staffing levels most times. Mixed elder population, no strict division between regular care and memory care. In my mom's experience, that meant more interaction between populations.

Facilities were not well maintained. Staff was open and communicative, but I would not consider this for my father.

The food offered the residents is awful--devoid of fresh healthy vegetables and fruits. Can't imagine how anyone could survive long on their diet. The staff was pleasant but often non-responsive. Unless there are substantial changes to the organization's culture, I would not recommend this facility.

Although we arrived at our tour we decided it was not the place for our loved one. Was not happy with the location either.

If your choices are to leave your loved one home alone or take them to Mayfair house, then Mayfair house is the lesser evil. The only positive thing was that they were affordable. They called me at least 4 times to come deal with her. They said they could accommodate her vegan diet. They only fed her salad. So, I had to provide monthly supplies of Amy's soup and Ensure so she could get enough nutrition. They gave her meat and she had diarrhea for 6 days. They sent her to Maryview hospital 3 times in March for psychiatric evaluation. The last time, they refused to take her back. After 4 days in the emergency room, the hospital arranged for her to come to my house. On [date removed] Maryview sent her to my home and set up hospice care. She passed on [date removed]. Mayfair House claimed she needed a psychiatric evaluation. The hospital said there would be no bed for her in the psychiatric unit. She had already been diagnosed with vascular dementia according to Mayfair House's patient records. Therefore, no evaluation was needed. Maryview said she was not the first difficult patient Mayfair House sent to them because they didn't want to deal with them.

Refused my father in law for no reason at all, the administration is so shady, but in the end we found a better and cheaper place to go. Go checkout willow estates before putting your loved one's in this place.

This place is disgusting. There are many flies EVERYWHERE, on the patients/on the food. This is NOT a care facility. This is a facility that will feed & water. I entered and not one staff member said a word to me on either occasion, no one even made eye contact. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in here. I just visited a very close family friend last weekend. I was there 2 different days and saw the "food" they served. The food I saw served- ice cold grilled cheese, tater tots, and some kind of slimy green vegetable poured right out of a bag. Not to be outdone by a playing card sized square of what was supposed to be a piece of fish with some sort of rice. Everything was served ice cold, there is no way to be healthy in this place. My guess is the facility wrote the last post/rating here. Resident daily activity- 1. Get them out of bed in to their wheelchair. Feed them breakfast slop. Sit them in a chair in front of the TV. Feed them lunch slop followed by "dinner" around 4:30pm. Put them to bed around 6pm and start all over again. This is no way for anyone to live or be treated, the staff is NOT caring in any way. I watched how they treated other patients, I want to get my friend out of this place ASAP.

I had a terrible time getting to talk to person with knowledge enough to answer some questions . I called and called. When I finally met with them in person, the administrator was extremely rude to me. I have never had such awful treatment. The interiors of the facility looks dingy and not well kept. Extremely depressing.
