The director of the community and the doctor walked me through everything. They held my hand and were very supportive. The staff I have met have been great. My loved one likes the food and they do offer some daily activities. The community is clean and well taken care of.

My husband is currently in his 2nd respite care at Ivy Ridge. He and I chose Ivy Ridge because the people living there have activities going on just about all the time, including a popular bingo game every evening at 6Pm. People are free to choose activities , meal choices, and may go to their rooms when they choose. From our observation of other places we felt they seem to be more oriented to the families rather than to the patients. Ivy Ridge is definitely oriented and engaged with their patients. My husband's first stay was for a month. This current one will probably be longer. I've been in al all hours and have been pleased with all shifts. My background is in nursing/administration

The food at this community is excellent and the chef comes out to interact with the residents. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful place and they offer daily activities. I would recommend coming to take a look to see if it is the right fit for your loved one

The community was very organized. I received enough information about the community from the advisor. I also received a proper tour of the whole community. The staff there were all very nice and attentive. There were many common areas and activities. The community also offered Housekeeping and Laundry service / dry cleaning.

My mother spent her last three years in Inspired Living at Hidden Lakes with dementia, among nurses who cared about her and cried at her death. She was not an easy patient, but the staff treated her with tremendous respect and kindness and I am very grateful. They made her last years comfortable and she became extremely fond of her them, and they did of her. The whole experience was positive and I can highly recommend this facility if you are unfortunate enough to be in the position of needing to find good care for your loved one with memory problems.

Great Place to live!!!!

Being in the health care field for 31 years in pinellas county, I have had the opportunity to visit many facilities. Dawn Gretter at Ivy Ridge really helps my families feel comfortable about making the hardest decision of their lives. In my recent experience with the staff there, all of them from maintenance, dietary and care givers have gone above and beyond to ensure my residents have a positive adjustment. The secure outside area offers my residents a feeling of freedom, something that can be of great importance to them. Debra Castro the executive director has been available to me and my families if needed. Sheri Derry the program director is wonderful, I myself held this position for 17 years out in the community, so I am very particular on this subject. I rarely stop at Ivy Ridge when something meaningful, appropriate and fun isn't taking place with great attendance. I never see residents in recliners placed in front of the television and calling it an activity. No facility is perfect, but I appreciate one that is trying to be.

Hidden Lakes exceeded all my expectations for the care of my mother.

They were incredibly diligent with what they say they were going to do from first point of contact, was tops very professional. Hope was excellent in the transitioning of my mom to the facility.

The Inspired Living Memory Care Community had just opened when we placed "Dad". It is a very clean, well-laid out community with 2 primary wings off a main hallway that has 3 screen porches and a very large, secure courtyard. Wall murals showing the staff and residents as "leaves of a family tree" helps guests to identify other residents and caregivers. A Hall of Honor mural for Veterans in residence shows a Flag and American Eagle, with the Veterans photo and branch of service. I know "Dad" really enjoys seeing his photo, name and branch of service on display. All staff members we have met have been helpful and friendly. Inspired Living was chosen for their location, their responsiveness and involvement in the community. They help sponsor seminars and training by Teepa Snow, and we were fortunate to attend one of these seminars. The staff is very good at redirecting a resident to a positive outcome when a situation may cause anxiety. There have been a few minor issues and we are always notified promplty. If we have had a concern, a simple email receives a fast response and the issue is immediately resolved and we know we can call any time.

They do monthly weigh ins which I like. They don't have as many activities as we are used to doing. They will shave the residents for them. They don't have mirrors in the bathrooms. They are a new state of the art community. They don't have outings. They don't have scenic viewing. They have quite a few rooms. I just visited and looked around and spoke to some people.

We had a few issues when [name removed] moved in but it was taken care of that evening. Very clean. The aides are very friendly and helpful. [name removed] gets good care. 5. Not sure about the staff rating right now since some of the admin staff that were there when I moved [name removed] in are either leaving or have gone, ie Health and Wellness person and now the Activity Director is leaving, In both cases no one has let me know who will be replacing them. These two are the one ones that I interact with the most. 3. [name removed] loves the food and has probably put on 30lbs. Many times I walk in and [name removed] is asleep I'm a chair. I'm not sure if they try to engage him or not. So far the value is worth it to me because he is clean, fed and taken care of. 5.

Activities Great! Food Good! Very Clean place! Room sizes are Great, Bathroom s plenty of Room!!! All is Great at Inspired Living!!!

I like Inspired Living. The Executive Director [name removed] is very responsive. The head nurse, [name removed] is very helpful unavailable. [name removed] with facilities where many hats and is been super helpful. The food is very good.

The folks were very warm, welcoming and friendly. Very patient when mother was indecisive about the size of the room she would ultimately take. But we've had trouble with getting the paperwork on her rental corrected. There have been glitches with her medication distribution. They renewed eye drops for over $300 that mother did not need. And the food is abysmal. Most of the time it is cooked and overcooked to the point of being in edible. The staff is very friendly, and there are a lot of activities. Minor things, mother has lost socks and several facial washcloths in their laundry system. Last Friday she took ill, and we could not find a nurse or nursing assistant. An ambulance had to be called, and she has been in the hospital since for gallbladder removal, and a second surgery for internal bleeding. Upon discharge, I am bringing her home with me for at least a week, as I hate to report I do not have faith in their medical staffing to keep a close enough eye on her and to distribute medication properly.

It is a very nice place. Sometimes hard to get in touch with head nurse.

I can really only speak to end of life care. If he was able to enjoy the place, meet people, and experience the amenities and food, it would probably be a 5, but he went down hill immediately when we moved him in (which was not due to them, of course) so the end of life care was probably a 4, since some of the staff didn't seem to understand when he couldn't swallow and how to administer meds with out dumping water into his mouth and causing some choking. The hospice nurse had to explain to a couple of staff how to do this correctly. I still think it is an amazing place and would highly recommend it. My brother, his wife, and my mom said they would stay there if it was their time to need a facility like that.

Several shoes have been lost. I replaced some over the holidays and they are now missing again. It's costly to have to keep replacing them. It would be nice to have email or some form of communication with the head nurse or director of nursing. I am only able to contact her by calling the facility. The staff overall seem friendly and attentive when I have been there. I believe they are changing directors at the facility and have not received any updates as to status of that.

The staff is great, very helpful. The beginning was off to a slow start but we all worked through it. The down side is It is very expensive to have my mom there and realistically we can't keep her there long term.
