We chose Amelia Place because of the security that they had. The girl who was showing us around also had a big play in it, they were all very welcoming. The room sizes here are fairly spacious, they do have options on sizes as well. They have an inside outdoor area that was very nice and safe if your loved one likes to go outside that they can enjoy whenever they wanted. Overall, I would recommend this community.

I have been here 6 months. I am satisfied with the service I am receiving. With Covid-19 they are doing everything possible to keep us safe. Should better inform residents on rules regarding Covid-19. Not consistent for all residents. I am on the lowest level of care.

Independent Living is very good. The meals program had deteriorated while my in-laws were there. The room sizes and layout of the community are excellent. My in-laws had a good-sized two bedroom two bath unit. The Assisted Living units are a little smaller. They have a nice outdoor space in the back for residents.

The staff was very friendly. Overall I liked them. The food was just okay. I liked the layout of the community. They had different floor plans to choose from. They have an outdoor area to walk, they have gardens and they are across the street from a park and shopping area.

Initially, my mom moved into their assisted living and the staff were wonderful with trying different ways to accommodate her needs, but they found that she needed a higher level of care, so we moved her to their memory care. The staff were helpful and took care of moving apartments which was so much easier for me. The memory care is very small and the staff seem pretty attentive. The communication through email has been pretty prompt. The care is good and they seem to try to keep track of my mom's needs and are very patient with her. We like the location of the community as well. We chose this community because after two years they will accept medicaid. We visited several other communities, but after two years she would have to move again. At Pinicon Place, she won't ever have to move, again, which I really liked. The food is pretty basic but they will try to accommodate my mom with offering options.

Lamar Court is a good value for what you need. They were transparent regarding costs and had some specials to help with moving costs. They have 3 different unit sizes and price points. They use a temp service so sometimes there are communication issues. There were also Issues with the professionalism of the temp staff. The regular nursing staff works very hard to make sure people are well taken care of and have good communication and follow up.

This was a nice community. The add-ons get a little expensive

Met [name removed] today. We liked the facility and tour but were concerned they weren't able to offer long-term care. Still a possible option, but we're seeking more long-term options.

Friendly, caring staff, newer facility, clean.

Five Star tour was a great learning experience for [name removed] and I. We learned the terminology of the health care industry. [Name removed] was extremely helpful explaining the facility and gave a very nice tour.

We liked it. Seems friendly, clean, many activities, lg studio was vey roomy. Seems bigger than 1 bedroom. Reasonably priced. 1 yr lease, increase rent appt 3.5% yearly. No stove ,no balcony,

Very charming. They suggested that we have lunch before our tour. The ambiance, food, and service was lovely. [Name removed] was a hoot. The residents were warm and friendly. There are tons of activities and places to move about without ever leaving the premise. Very excited about moving into the cute apartment.

Really like the layout of the facility! Also like it’s location. Have a few concerns. I understand it has changed management hands frequently, the rooms are smaller then sunnybrook, and the residents weren’t impressed with the food. We were greeted very warmly. Our guide was awesome answering all our questions but she didn’t appear to be as engaged with all the clients as was the marketing rep at sunnybrook who accualtely teared up at the mention of a lost client the day before.

This setting is not the typical institutional feel - it resembles more residential, "home-like" setting. The staff are all friendly but adequate staffing numbers have been an issue of late. The facility is well maintained and very clean. The activities are directed more toward those that are more mobile like the residents of the cottages, rather than the assisted living residents who have more trouble with moving around. The dining room serves from a menu and the food is adequate but challenged with serving hot food, hot...and cold food, cold. It is reasonably priced based on other facilities that we visited.

We find it a great place for our 88 yr old mom. Clean, good food and very nice.

This is a nice place but it just didn't feel like it could be home to me.

I lived in Denver for 10 years and really miss it.
